We've struggled with the vet changes we've noticed in our neighborhood, and after a bad experience we sought elsewhere going far away from convenience. We saw Holly in our neighborhood group and our overall experience was easy, low stress, and positive. It was enough to know we were coming back. But the after care and quick communication and professionalism have been definitely above average and we are grateful to Dr Yong and how's he's handled our full experience to work to solve both kitty issues. There's definitely a difference when you go to a corporate-type vet and a practice like Holly. I appreciate the simplicity, no fuss, and straightforwardness immensely. Holly Vet Clinic is amazing. They saved my dogs life. Dr. Yong was great with Elliot and took care of the us, the human patient. He was very focused and concerned about the well being of Elliot. Looking for the best ways to keep him comfortable and safe with we secured funding. They are transparent about pricing, as it is listed on their website, which made the decision pretty easy. When other vets were quoting us $8- $10 grand to remove a squeaker from my dogs intestines, they were able to do it for $4,000. And even though they aren't open on Saturdays, they made an exception and did his surgery on their day off, as Elliot was critical. While it was the pricing that made me go to Holly Vet Clinic, it was the treatment Elliot and I received that will have us return. We will be transferring the care of Elliot, as well as our two cats, to them.

Very much recommend this clinic. Easy to schedule. Doctor was very kind. My dog seemed happy. Prices are competitive for the area.

Dr Yong was very kind and gentle with my dog and administered medicine via IV rather than giving her a painful injection.

UPDATE: I waited until I was less upset to write this…read moreupdate. Time didn't really help, I'm still angry. Your response is insulting and only reinforces my concern about this practice. Instead of engaging with the substance of what I experienced, you've chosen to focus on technicalities and imply I'm mistaken or confused. Who the owner was is completely beside the point. I was a long-term client, and I know exactly who I was dealing with and the guidance I received. An employee told me the vet who assisted me was the owner. Attempting to discredit my experience over that detail feels evasive rather than accountable. Dismissing my account as "erroneous" without addressing the actual outcomes is troubling. I was given advice, that I later learned through a second opinion, was inappropriate and ridiculous... and in at least one case, dangerously wrong. That is not a misunderstanding; that is a failure in the care Inglemoor provided. Yes, I have the correct location. Anything incorrect I said was because it was information given to me by your employees. You state that you don't "insist" on treatments, yet the pressure I experienced happened. You claim not to offer or promote certain therapies, yet they were explicitly presented to me. You describe medications as readily available and inexpensive, yet I repeatedly struggled to obtain them and saw poor results while being told the condition was effectively "untreated." These are not abstract complaints, these are my experiences. Rather than acknowledging that I may have had a genuinely poor and even harmful experience, your response suggests I must be wrong. That lack of reflection is exactly why I will continue to compel others to seek care elsewhere. I did not write my review lightly. I wrote it after losing my cat under circumstances that, according to another veterinarian, involved missed or incorrect diagnoses, and after seeing a clear improvement in care with my surviving cat once I left your practice. If you truly take negative feedback seriously, then start by considering that not every uncomfortable review is "erroneous." Do better. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I caution everyone against considering Inglemoor Animal Hospital. My cats suffered needlessly and I strongly feel I was misled and pressured into unnecessary, inappropriate treatments and costs. Not everyone can afford a 2nd opinion but I'm glad I could. While some vets at Inglemoor were kind and well-meaning over the years... the owner, who was my primary vet, gave advice that was not only unhelpful but may have caused serious harm to my cats. She pushed pseudoscientific treatments like acupuncture, misdiagnosed dental issues (recommending unnecessary surgery), and dismissed the need for special kidney diet food for my elderly cat who did in fact have kidney disease, (which was later confirmed by another vet.) They insisted on radioactive iodine treatment for my elderly cat's hyperthyroidism. But due to the cat's advanced age, I went with the less invasive option of medicating daily. Getting it was a pain (at times it was out of stock,) the expensive medication did not control the issue as expected. After many months, I was told her condition was being documented as untreated. That statement made me furious, and finally decide to go elsewhere for care. I got a second opinion from a far more competent veterinarian who corrected these misdiagnoses and actually demonstrated the reasoning behind their care plan. I'm deeply frustrated I had to go elsewhere to get proper help. The cat with hyperthyroidism passed away from extensive undiagnosed cancer shortly after their first exam with the new vet. It was too late for them to help. My surviving cat is having a much better time under the care of a different vet.

Sadly, our recent experience surrounding the care of our beloved dog left us deeply disappointed. After his passing, we reached out to discuss our concerns and to request a partial refund for services that had been provided. We understood that the clinic might not agree with our request, but we had hoped for a more compassionate and understanding response given our long history as clients and the difficult circumstances our family was facing. Instead, we left the conversation feeling dismissed and unsupported during an incredibly painful time. Losing a pet is heartbreaking. What has made this experience even more difficult is feeling unheard by a clinic we trusted for over two decades. We hope our feedback encourages reflection and a greater commitment to compassionate communication and client care in the future.

Once I told them I wanted to cancel and the reason for it, they immediately offered to downgrade it for me right there over the phone (all that after I just spent a week jumping through hoops and running in circles!). I am very grateful they finally took care of it! What would've been helpful however is if they straight up told me right away that this was the way to get it done, instead of wasting so much of my precious time and energy and bandwidth, which I by the way need for taking care of my child and all the other 100s of people that I take care of! Update. After having been given the runaround for 3 days and having gone to 3 different locations and been told that I can only downgrade my pet's plan by calling the 800 number, and then told at the 800 number that I can only do the downgrade by going to the location in-person 5 times each, I was finally on the phone with this location, and now was being told that the only way they'll downgrade it for me is if I bring my cat in for an exam (which is extremely stressful for my pet and I will try to avoid at all costs unless there is an actual problem that needs to be looked at)!!!! I believe this is how they suck money out of people, by making it close to impossible for you to make any changes to your plan! Think twice before you sign up and make sure you don't let it auto renew before you had a chance to review it! They auto renewed it for me at the highest rate possible without any prior discussion!

Even when things were stressful, they stayed calm and supportive. Other vets I've been to make you feel like a number, but here they treated us like real people and real patients. The waiting area felt comfortable and they kept me updated while they worked -- that made a big difference when you're anxious about your animal. I appreciated their transparency about costs and the care options too. Overall it felt like a place that truly cares about pets and their owners. We had a very disappointing experience with the Oncology department at Timberline…read more Our Golden Retriever, Vanille, recently completed radiation therapy for a peripheral nerve sheath tumor and today was scheduled for a follow-up appointment. Although Timberline is more than 30 minutes from our home, we chose to continue her oncology care there because we trusted Dr. Lyons. There are several oncology specialists much closer to us, but we believed the extra drive was worth it for the continuity of care. While we were on our way, the clinic called to let us know that we were already 10 minutes late. I explained that we were only 2-3 minutes away. I also explained that when I scheduled the appointment by phone, I had been told the appointment time was 2:45 PM, which was the time I had planned around. I was then told that because another consultation was scheduled after ours, Vanille could not be seen and we would need to reschedule. After checking my confirmation email later, I noticed it listed the appointment as 2:30 PM. I don't know how that discrepancy occurred, but that was not the appointment time I was given over the phone when I scheduled the visit. What disappointed me most was not the scheduling issue itself--it was the complete lack of flexibility and compassion for a cancer patient. I fully understand that clinics have schedules to maintain and that policies exist for a reason. However, Vanille had only recently completed radiation therapy and was still recovering from a serious hospitalization related to her treatment. Every trip is physically demanding for her. I wasn't asking anyone else's appointment to be delayed or expecting a full consultation if the schedule didn't allow it. Even if it was only possible to spend 10-15 minutes with the doctor, that would have been far more meaningful than simply turning us away after we had driven over 30 minutes and were only a couple of minutes from arriving. Instead, after a brief hold, we were simply told "sorry" and that we would have to reschedule. We were offered an appointment the next day, but that wasn't a practical solution. Rearranging work and making another long round trip with a recovering cancer patient is not something that can easily be done. Medical expertise is obviously important, but compassion, communication, and reasonable flexibility are equally important in specialty oncology. Unfortunately, today's experience significantly changed our confidence in continuing Vanille's care at Timberline, and we have decided to transfer her oncology care elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages the clinic to consider handling situations like this with more compassion in the future, especially for patients undergoing cancer treatment. I also want to be clear that this review is not a reflection of Dr. Lyons' medical expertise. Our decision was based entirely on how today's situation was handled by the clinic.
