Massive Reuben!
Christina D.

This spot is a hidden gem. They have happy hour from 3-9pm ($3.50 beers, $4 glasses of wine, $2.25(?) rails). There is a nice selection of draft beers on tap and the wine list has options ranging from your typical reds, to rosè if you wanted something lighter. The food was surprisingly fantastic! Great deal and LARGE portions. I got the meatloaf sandwich which was the special that night for $6, which included fries and a side salad. I mean it was a bargain. If this was anywhere else it would be at least $13-15! Really great quality food. I'd highly suggest the reuban sandwich, which my husband got. Apparently we got the last sandwich of the night? That I found odd that there was a finite number of reubans. So keep that in mind if you come later in the day! Special shoutout to the bartender! She was the only person servicing the entire place (tables and bar). There was at least 40 people there and she managed to get everyone's order timely and accurately. Definitely will be coming back!

Brussel sprouts

A hidden gem for sure. The food was so good we got 3 appetizers (the cornbread included) and the meatloaf. The drinks were super cheap too they have all day happy hour on some draft beers too. The food was delicious and the staff was super nice, I don't know what happened but after I ate I went home and slept for 13 hours straight! Needless to say I still had the leftovers for lunch the next day.

Brunch at Holly's will bring you right back to the days of La Taza in Belmont. Same chefs and same great Mexican inspired breakfast food(tacos, burritos, chilaquilles,Huevos rancheros etc.). The diner was crowded when we visited and expectably our order took a bit, but well worth the wait. Delicious food all around, perfectly cooked eggs, and their homemade hot sauce is awesome. We'll certainly be back!!

Soggy fries, but then again they were delivered.

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!
