I really enjoyed my experience here. My partner and I were in the area to shop for groceries and stopped by for falafels. We were met with very warm greetings from the lady at the window. The photos of the popular items looked too good to pass so we set on having dinner here. I'm super glad we did because the challah schnitzel is a delicious sandwich. It's REALLY good. My partner had the Ayaris and that one we loved because we love refreshing bites and it came with 4 different veggie sides. These two plates were huge btw, the pictures don't do it justice. And it was a slow night so I got to connect to the owner. She's really sweet and told me they've had the food truck for a few years now. She explained all the other popular items and tells me she gets busy because of them. She was very much proud of all of the dishes. I sensed the excitement. NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET IN A FOOD TRUCK!!! They have tables and umbrellas so you have a comfortable place to eat on the sidewalk. Appreciated the hand washing staton! It is with great disappointment that I am writing this review. I drove 30 miles to come and take an out-of-town guest to eat what I had felt was the "best Israeli food in the Valley". I always order the same plate, which is their Shawarma plate. When I received my food today, I noticed that what was served as Shawarma was not what they normally serve. It was not the traditional shaved Shawarma meat, however, it was chicken chunks with some sort of sauce, poured over it. The salads had no flavor at all. I had to ask for salt. And then I asked for hot sauce. Just to add some flavor to it. What I had loved about their food was everything was fresh, with multi layers of flavor in each dish. Not so today. When I asked the owner if he changed the recipe and style of his Shawarma, he informed me that he changed it about six months ago. However, I was there six weeks ago, and it was still the traditional delightful, delicious Shawarma. Not what I received today. When my out-of-town guest ordered a plate of Shawarma one minute after I did, he was told that it would take 30 minutes at least to prepare fresh Shawarma because they were out of it. Then he was told "never mind, it will be ready in five minutes". Odd. At the same time, my out-of-town guest was having this conversation with the person in the truck, I noticed the owner of the truck walking out of the market in which the truck is parked in front of... with a bag of food in his hands. After our meal, which we ate because we were so hungry... I walked into the market and looked in their hot prepared food section. And lo and behold! There was the Shawarma sold in the market that was put on our plate and resold through the food truck. I had asked to have a taste of the dish prepared in the market, and it was exactly what I was served through the food truck. I don't know what was more disappointing... the bait and switch up of what was normally served, or the tasteless salads, or the dishonesty from the owner when I asked him if he changed up his recipe. To top off this whole dining experience, (if you can call it that), a half hour after I ate my meal I had a terrible stomach ache. I love supporting local business. This food truck in my opinion had the best Israeli food in the valley... but no longer. I will never, ever go back again . read more

Is this good Falafel or what? I've been here twice but it only keeps getting better and better. We got a Falafel baguette, with french fries and a side of chicken schnitzel. I asked for a jalapeño to add a little heat to my food and boy did he delivered . The owner is very friendly and tends to his costumers with a smile. Very kind soul. Cannot recommend this place enough. Also, I didn't take a pic, but he's got a table with a Washing Cup setting for Al Netilas Yadayim. So props for that! read more

Super yummy falafel, served with a smile! Found this truck on Pico (I believe). Clean park bench adjacent to truck (in shade) for outdoor dining, if desired. We each ordered the falafel plate (currently $10) & it was a good value, IMO. Comes with (roughly) 8 - 12 smaller-sized crispy, fresh falafel alongside the best Israeli salad I've ever eaten (extremely fresh cucumber, tomatoes ~ no stinky onions). The most unexpected delight was *the* fluffiest pita bread I have ever met (basically tasty clouds). It normally comes with tahini sauce but they subbed a bit of hummus for me. It was a great vegan meal. The jolly man who prepared our food answered my multiple questions with kindness. I definitely recommend trying this place out. Well, The food is GREAT! Some of the best I've ever had. The owners are very nice! Service is Great! However, every time I go (about once every 4-6 weeks) prices are higher. To the point that last time I paid $92 for 3 people. YES! That's Ninety Two Dollars for 3 people to have some Schnitzel and Fries! Falafel is traditionally vegan. It says vegan on the truck and it's not. They cook it in pork fat oil, just get different oil. ‍

Customer service was excellent. I got the falafel balls and a small fry. 10/10 would return!

The owners of this truck with it rented a house in our neighborhood. The grass around the house is fake and. They probably poured some leftover oil on it and it smells. The front yard always has ton of trash. They put food leftovers near the side walk. They driveway is always dirty. I would never buy anything from this truck knowing how dirty they are.
