    $2 each 6pc Crispy Wings

This is not going to be for me. Want to have my party catered and so I order delivery to try them out. Crispy chicken wings- no crispy to be found, rubbery- tiny to be $2 each Cheesesteak- overall made me sad, inconsistent burnt char, no seasoning, breads empty end. $20 a pop is gonna be a no go. Quality reality does not match the hype of their videos

Extremely impressed with the staff! Super friendly, extremely kind and boy do they move quick. I stopped by to try them out today for the first time in my food was ready in no time. Not just that, but I was greeted at the minute I walked in. They totally make you feel welcomed. The dining area is completely spotless. Now for the food, I had the LA Philly meal which includes fries and a soda. It was so so good! Will definitely be going back! The bread was nice and moist without being soggy, their house made Wiz cheese is fantastic. Looking forward to trying on things on their menu.

Jawny's (formerly Philly Boyz) just retired their car wash food stand and leveled up to their first brick-and-mortar storefront, down the street. ========= LOCATION ========= There new storefront is located on the edge of Sherman Oaks on Burbank/Hazeltine in a small corner strip mall that neighbors a donut shop and Jamaican eatery. They took over the old Indian spot that was here for decades and the inside is pretty large and comfy compared to their old car wash parking lot. Lots of metal tables with padded chairs for dining in. There's cool cheese themed mural type artwork on the walls, cheesy whiz dripping down with the Philly skyline in the back and a nice juicy Phillysteak sitting on the Delaware River. Parking is cool, plenty of spaces inside the lot and you can park on Burbank Blvd. =========== THE (M)EATS =========== ~ LA PHILLY -- There spin on the Philadelphia native has mayonnaise, steak, mushrooms, onion, bell pepper and cheese. I got mine with their homemade Cheese Wiz. The bread is a lightly toasted roll that is slightly crunchy on the outside yet soft, chewy and pillowy on the inside. They stuff a good-size helping of steak inside and you can taste the freshness and quality of everything. It all came together great and I loved it was packed with steak. (5/5) ~ HOT HONEY WINGS -- These were amazing. As someone that's been to Atlanta 5 times in the past year (the birthplace of Hot Honey wings) I can co-sign that they were amazing. (5/5) =============== FINAL THOUGHTS =============== New location, new menu, same old deliciousness. JAWNY's churns out the best Cheesesteak I've had in the Valley and I'm glad I can now get it rain or shine, whether during a 100-degree heat wave (presently) or if we're having an El Niño rainstorm. Can't wait to try it with the different cheeses and wing flavors

    Boy that wing is goooooooood!!

Great food! The service is friendly and quick, having a place to sit now inside is awesome! Congratulations on the hard work guys keep it up. Don't forget where you came from. My son loves your new spot, we hit you guys up after Dodger games. Your staff is always great and the food is awesome. Appreciate you guys!!

; It's not what I expected. I thought I would be in for a treat with a local gem cooking up authentic Phillys. I ordered a ten piece chicken Hot honey and Hot lemon pepper; The spicy LA with Wiz and Cooper, & a side of fries with additional Wiz for dipping. Now, in my favor I thought they was on top of they shit when I seen the Cooper cheese as an option but upon making it back home to devour the haul I was distinguished by the low quality. It's not prepared with angus steak cuts. The ranch was of a low quality and no taste. My wings were bland and flavorless. The cool faces and humble demeanor made me think it was #goodeats but I'll have to say it's not

I used to eat here all the time, but ever since they opened up their restaurant the quality went downhill. To much bread with very little protein and veggies. And the French fries tasted stale:(

Anything you order from here is off the chain. I've had the both cheese steak and spicy chicken sandwich. Today the Philly cheese steak fries, so good just had to leave a review.

First time trying and I've gotta say, as a person who don't usually like to eat cheesesteaks... this one was fireeeeee. Soooo delicious. Portions were amazing, service was amazing, ingredients are fresh, and price was decent for the portion. Definitely recommend if you're in the valley come here and visit them. Their Jawny sauce is too die for. The steaks are fresh and cooked in front. They're very clean and keep it clean. Chairs are provided with table. Outdoor seating. Parking is limited.

Tried Philly Boyz and overall it was a solid experience with a few standouts. The Chicken Cheesesteak was full, flavorful, and definitely satisfying, no skimping on portions. One sandwich was more than enough, and honestly, I'm glad we didn't order fries because we were already stuffed. The 215 Philly, however, was a bit underwhelming compared to the chicken. It wasn't bad, just didn't have the same punch or wow factor I was expecting. One small wish: I'd love the option to order half a sandwich, the portions are generous, which is great, but sometimes you want variety without committing to a full one, or you eat like I do and can't do a full sandwich justice. All that said, I'm excited to see what they do with their brick-and-mortar location opening in April 2026. Definitely a spot worth checking out, especially for the chicken cheesesteak.

Last time I came here I tried the wings and it was amazing! So I had to run it back and get a 50pc order this time! Went with the hot honey and it's easily my favorite!

Love it - long line but it moved really quickly and food was ready pretty quick too. Nice roomy area to park and eat in/near your car, or there are tables and chairs set up. Loved the cheesesteaks and will plan to come back!

The half of my sandwich with no MEAT!!

I was born and raised in Philly and this was definitely NOT A Philly JAWN !! It was seasoned very well but I was so disappointed... First for paying $21 per sandwich as the delivery fee was an additional $3 per sandwich ( instead of 1 fee for the entire order) Second for only getting a 1/4 of the meat typically found on Philly Cheesesteak this was outrageous!! There was mostly mushrooms opinions and cheese with very little steak... in fact on one 1/2 of the sandwich the meat didn't even cover the bread... see attached photo! They had the nerve to charge $8 for extra meat ... in Philly, you don't need extra meat!!

Okayy so I heard so many great things about this place!!!!! And I mean so many great things......upon arrival the place was packed. Luckily, there was a good amount of seating plus the vibe was chill. The young lady at the counter was very nice. She said she comes here on her days off which had me super excited to try it. We got the Philly steak fries, hot lemon pepper and lemon pepper wings fried well done. So the wings...... the overall disappointment that I experienced when trying the wings is actually sad. These were definitely chicken wings out of the Tyson bag in the frozen section. They were HUGE and not in a good way. Now if you like big fat steroid pumped wings then you'll love these. We also asked for them to be fried well done which they weren't. They were actually kinda chewy. Some of them were undercooked. Which we had to throw away. I normally would've made a big deal about it but it was late, my kids were tired and they looked like they were already going thru a lot. The Philly fries would have been good if they had flavor. Just like most things that are hyped on social media... the food was pumped up based on the "cheese". The meat had no flavor... the fries were soggy and unsalted. It was just meat and potatoes with cheese on top. I was convinced that everyone in there had zero taste buds or just didn't want to admit that the food wasn't good. Keep in mind we drove from LA to Sherman oaks thinking this place was gonna be it and sadly it was not. Still might reach out to the restaurant regarding the undercooked chicken because that is not okay. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

When I went up to order a drink, there was a staff member that was just starting her shift-Sunday 7/20/26 around 1200 noon. She looked around the bar, had someone walk in front of me and served them immediately. She never noticed the line behind me waiting to order (about 5 customers). she never smiled, very indifferent and gave a very negative vibe. We will not be back again. I don't tolerate staff like that. She cancelled out the wonderful staff person that helped us first. She was top notch.

This was my first time at Tipsy Cow, and I have mixed emotions. The atmosphere is casual and…read morefestive, with TV's playing sports and a varied crowd that includes daters, older couples, families and singles making the most of their weekend. There's music that's lively without being overbearing, and the staff is uniformly friendly. But... You have to order at the bar and, though they have runners to bring your food, you do have to hunt them down for anything after the delivery (extra ketchup, etc). While this isn't my favorite system at my age, to be fair, whatever the owners are saving on staff is reflected in the prices, which are absolutely below most places in the area for food that is good-quality and drinks that are generously poured. So yes, my wife's Espresso Martini was served in a deep-bellied Belgium beer glass, and my whiskey neat was a hefty pour. Yay!! For food, I ordered the Smash Burger, which is served with melted American, grilled onions and the house version of Russian dressing (as well as pickles, which I deleted). The burgers had a nice, smashed crust while remaining juicy, the cheese was properly melted, and the grilled onions had a terrific caramelized sweetness, while the house sauce was very well-balanced: ketchupy and creamy without being too mayonnaise-heavy. A very good smasher. My wife ordered the Big Texan Burger because she wanted cheddar and frizzled onions and BBQ sauce, though she deleted the bacon and pork belly that are normally included. This, too, was a very good burger: cooked to a proper and pleasing medium-rare and well-seasoned, with a good, fresh flavor to the beef. The onion rings were less successful, which are of the beer batter type, but seemed to be a commercial, frozen product. The coating was browned but not crisp, and the flavor was relatively nondescript. We didn't really eat them, and wouldn't order them again. And so, to me, The Tipsy Cow is a bit of a mixed bag: reasonably priced decent food and reasonably priced, generously-poured drinks -- but in a mostly self-serve environment that incrementally loses its appeal in relation to your age and your dining circumstances. Certainly worth a try, but you've gotta be in the right mood.

Kelley, our server, was a sweetheart. And the glass of wine was a nice pour and a decent wine. I like that they let you in for something to drink before officially opening for the day. Cue record scratch... now about that food. No, we did not order the wrong thing and no, IMO, they were not just having a bad day. Look at these Huevos Rancheros with "house hash, tostadas and 3 eggs"... those are chips (I think from a bag of tortilla chips) so not really a tostada, no way there were three eggs in that thing (from what I could see)... not sure what the "house hash" is but nothing I could identify on the plate. I know a lot of people might leave a restaurant and say "I could have made that at home" but there is no way I would make something this crappy at home. LOOK at this Avocado Toast with "avocado spread"... that is some thin smear of something green but when you are calling something "Avocado Toast" there should be a substantial amount of the hero ingredient (and maybe not call it "avocado spread" on your menu description. To me, that says, "Look we don't want to call this a "rustic mash of avocado" or "Hass smash" or "hand-crushed ripe avocado" because we know you are actually going to SEE it in front of you in about 15 minutes and "avocado spread" won't lead to a major disappointment." But it did. And this slab of dry plywood that they were calling toast. I turned to my wife and in my best Sebastian Manascalco said, "Why would you do that??" This place mostly failed on food. The food at the other tables looked equally pathetic. Gotta say... all of the cooked egg components of each dish were decent but the rest of the items were like WTF? Ambiance? It's OK... I mean it was a bar with a ton of TVs going. Semi-nice vibe for a sports bar... lots of room. Just can't get over the food. We ate about half of our sodium bombs and left. But parts of the eggs were lovely... as was Kelley.
