While everyone gets sick occasionally, what concerned me most was that there was zero attempt to cover their mouth, turn away, or take any steps to prevent the cough from reaching the food prep area. Food safety and hygiene are really important to me, especially at a place I enjoy so much. With having a background in the food industry, I hope management can remind staff and one another, to follow basic precautions (like masking when ill or stepping away) so customers don't have to worry. One tip though. Make sure you read the labels before grabbing your sushi. I accidentally picked up a few pieces made with brown rice, and personally I thought the ones made with white rice were much better. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
