She told us that that person was "busy with a sale" and would be another five minutes. There was no explanation why neither she nor the other sales associates who were not busy could help us. The third associate then came over to take the puppy away, and when I told her, "You just lost a sale" due to the total disregard for us as qualified buyers, her response was a snarky "Have a good day." There were no apologies ... no acknowledgement of the indifferent treatment we received along with the total disrespect for our time. The cats come from Paws on my Heart, Inc., a no-kill cat rescue that takes in cats from many different counties around Indiana. Some people visit Pawz Pet Cafe to suss out a forever friend. But my kids and I visited just for the kitty cuddles. But if you're interested in adopting a cat, there's a binder on a table with information about each cat that you can peruse through. You can also speak to one of the friendly people who are in the sanctuary, and they are happy to answer questions. All of the cats at Pawz are vetted and ready to be adopted. My children and I have visited a few cat cafes, and we all agreed that the cats here were the friendliest we've ever encountered! Most of the cats were ready to play and visit. We did visit right at noon when they opened, so that could be why. I'm thinking that if you want the cats at their freshest, you probably want to visit as early as possible when they aren't touched- and people'd-out. As of this writing, you don't have to make a reservation in order to visit the kitties, but it is recommended. Visiting sessions are in 30- and 60-minute increments. We booked 30 minutes but could have easily stayed a whole hour. Somehow, time slips away when you're petting a cat! Petz also has a beverage bar, which mostly consists of boba beverages as of right now. They are supposed to have coffee soon. My children each got the two most popular boba drinks: Fireworks Fizzle and Catnip Cooler. They both enjoyed their drinks! I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share what happened during my puppy's first grooming appointment at Woof Gang in Carmel... My 9-month-old maltipoo, Louie, is usually gentle but anxious around new people. When I booked the appointment, I explained this so they would handle him with extra patience and care. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to happen. About 30 minutes after drop-off, I received a call from -- the groomer -- saying Louie had "snapped" at her and wouldn't let her wash him after she trimmed around his private area and accidentally got water on his face. My boyfriend and I immediately went back to the salon. When we arrived, staff led us to the back where I found Louie soaking wet, shivering, and whimpering inside a vented cage. He was terrified. He jumped out trying to hide, and it took time to calm him down and wrap him in a towel. Despite his obvious distress and the incomplete service, we were still charged the full fee. I left feeling heartbroken and disappointed, especially since this was his first experience being groomed. I hope the staff take this feedback seriously and reconsider how they handle nervous or first-time dogs. For anyone with an anxious or young pup, I would recommend finding a grooming place that takes more time to build trust and ensure your pet feels safe throughout the process.

The place was really busy, but I was able to speak to a very nice young lady named Evelyn (I believe... I'm extremely bad with names, but think that was it. If not Apologies). She really took the time to help me catch up on some of the changes in the hobby and focus in on somethings I think I may like. I have more research to do but will definitely be back when it comes to make some critical decisions and buy some of the key components such as aquarium itself, substrate, filtration, etc. Really appreciate the time she took with me. I'm not an expert to be able to "grade" The Reef like some may be able to, but I can speak to how they treated me today. The Reef seemed to have a depth of products to help someone just starting out at a small scale, to the very experienced hobbyist looking to go to the next level or the advanced aquarium keeper who needs to pick up some specific item. (I took the pics to help me remember some of the items I was looking into but figured they would be good for this review as well)
