I've been going there for years through all of my puppies i just have members of my family! They just expanded their store to include a wash station and they have a groomer on staff. They have a tremendous variety of dry food freeze dried food frozen food and much more along with treats and toys and dog equipment and much much more! I have a very picky puppy who has been through most of their food some she eats some she won't and those that she won't you can return for a full refund. They are so helpful when my dog is sick when she's too picky or whatever she's good or bad at they're extremely helpful ! Be aware of Staci she doesn't listen to you when you telling her what you want for her to groom your dog, I told her don't cut the hair just clean her up leave the hair long, I picked up my dog and I didn't recognize her she shaved her and made so many mistakes plus she cut under the left eye little, I don't know what kind drugs she is on it but definitely something is not right with her, first time I called to make appointment she never took my info I had to call back to make sure that I had the appointment and that's when she actually took my info., I Will NEVER go back there again, she came highly raccomended from Amanda from a different place same job, the worst experience ever my poor baby has no hair anymore horrible cut, I also spoke to the manager to let her know that I was mad and not happy she was going to give me a 10 pct off I told her I'm not paying for a bad job and she didn't listen to what I wanted, she said ok and I left I'm still very mad I wish I didn't go there at all. Super fab pet shop. The staff is awesome as are the 2 doberman shop dogs behind the counter. They have a great selection of raw food and single ingredient dehydrated treats. I was just in to check the place out but left with a 16 oz bag of dehydrated beef lung treats that are a great deal at only 13.99 for such a big bag. In fact, I have a Hollywood Feed closer to me, but I go to the one in Colleyville because of how awesome the customer service is. They are also very knowledgeable about all their products. Very cute store with helpful employees. Dogs are welcome in the store but please be aware the employees typically have their personal dogs behind the counters as well. This has never caused a problem but of your dog is frightened by that stuff that just be aware. Hollywood feed carries lots of variety in dog food and pet supplies, I typically buy my dog collars here bc some of them have a manufacturer lifetime warranty (I've gone through 3 one dog) haha. This store also offers bath stations, you bring your dog in and wash them yourself but you don't have to clean up after so if you took your dogs to the lake or they found some mud pile this could be a nice place to wash rather than your clean shower. read more

I'm not sure if I am going to be able to contain myself while typing this review...BUT JOSH SO ROCKS!! As in 10 stars! Today, he groomed my 12 year old great pyrenees Chester and Ohanzee our ever so popular long haired blue "cookie monster", who is a longed hair shepherd. Finding someone who can work on a senior dog is difficult but a giant dog..well impossible. Josh had me "at Hello". He understood my situation but also large dogs. Josh greeted us as soon as we arrived but really the boys were greeted. :) His approached put everyone at ease. So much so not only were they groomed the best I have seen in years but the most relaxed I have seen with anyone AND in their environment. You'd think were coming here and seeing the other dogs for years...not that this was their first visit ever. When our boys have been previously groomed - it was as if they were groomed in the dessert as they were drinking close to a gallon of water. When Hollywood Feed Opened in Colleyville, I walked in to get information about dog food. When I told the manager what I was currently feeding my dog - He said, "I can't argue with that. That is a wonderful dog food and is just as good as any I have here." I walked out with nothing that day, but find myself going back on the slightest whim to successfully find whatever my precious dog needs or wants that day. GO and TALK to the staff at Hollywood Feed. We were blown away by the great products they had on the shelves including the incredible leash and collar wall. The have great food and treat options and might just have the best selection of large sized dog beds in the DFW Metroplex. Their staff was incredibly supportive and helpful during our Meet & Greet and even went so far to setup a full end-cap with Golden Retriever related merchandise. Our volunteers made sure to stock up. Tried to bathe my dog here and walked in to an unleashed white dog running all over. When I asked the woman if she would leash her dog she says "she's a service dog, so she doesn't have to be leashed". The two employees in red shirts did nothing and said nothing. When walking back to my car the brown dachshund behind the counter was barking and lunging through the glass at my dog. Very disappointed. read more

Not really a poor comment directed at the individual store but more so a specific product. Purchased 2 bully sticks for Xmas treats for our dogs. Much to our dismay each pet ended up in the emergency room with digestive complications. Bill was in excess of $1100. X-rays clearly showed the bully stick as the root cause of the problem. read more

Last night I went to Colleyville, Texas store about 6:45 with my dog. My dog the previous night had been sprayed by a skunk, but had been hosed down at home the previous night and had a faint residual smell. About 6:50 a female employee told me "just so you know for next time, our bath station closes at 6:30." I said, "I would want to honor that, but how is a customer supposed to know that, like where is a sign or how does this area look closed? (There are towels and shampoo still out.) She told me they no longer have a sign. I told her I would try to remember for next time. Then, she recommended deskunk products. A few minutes later, a red-haired, female employee came to me and told me the bath station was closed and I needed to stop the bath immediately and "I need you to remove your dog from the bath station especially since now that your dog was sprayed by a skunk we will have to spend a long time disinfecting the station and you are NOT supposed to be using the bath after 6:30!" I told her that the other female employee had mentioned that and told me to remember for next time but I asked the red headed employee, "how am I as a customer supposed to know?" She told me they usually turn the lights out (they weren't turned off.) Another customer walked by and looked at me. I was extremely embarrassed by the employee's raised voice and tone at me and now a customer staring at me. My dog still had soap on him. (I had brought my own soap for this visit. Basically, I was using the raised wash station and water. My dog's smell could only be detected if smelling close to his head!) I partially rinsed my dog, since I had saturated him with soap, and upon leaving, the red-headed female was at the register. I said, "Can you recommend a place that I can take my dog to since clearly he has had a partial bath." She said, "You can go across the street to the Pet Shampoo Bar." and pointed out the building and to the sign across the street. (I didn't know there was such a nice facility right across the street with reasonable prices! Such SWEET employees over there.) As.I left the store I said, "I'm sorry I made you mad." Her flippant reply "thanks". (Wait a minute....I'm the customer apologizing for using the bath station and getting yelled at?) QUESTION: I have been a loyal customer of Hollywood Feed for 7 years. I have posted positive comments to neighbors about this specific store on Facebook and Neighbor Next Door and how Christian, the store manager, is such an expert on dog food and pet health. Since I'm too embarrassed to walk back in to the Colleyville store because I don't want to interact with either of those female employees, but especially the red-headed....What other recommendations do you have in Colleyville for my pet needs? I definitely will NOT go back to the bath station, because I'm not going to be able to remember the hours of bathing. The Pet Shampoo Bar across the street is now where I will go. So, where in Colleyville can I buy Fromm, calming treats, etc. ? I just don't want the drama from that store! I had the worst experience ever here today. I came in with some friends today to celebrate their dog's last day with us. Due to numerous health problems, they had decided it was time. The employee kept trying to push different products and insinuated that my friend had not tried to "fight" for her dog. We tried to politely decline and I even explained that we are technicians, and she kept trying to press products on us. It was a terrible experience and she made my friend feel like crap on an already crappy day. I really hope this isn't a common occurrence. Choosing the time for your family member is an incredibly personal decision that is already very difficult in the first place. I would assume that anyone that goes to this store wants the best for their pet and to receive such harsh judgement is inexcusable. read more

This store looks so small and simple on the outside, but the inside is FULL of goodies for both dogs, cats, and humans. Very cozy get organized and clean. There is a wash area and one groomer. She brushed out both of my dogs and did wonderful. She noticed when my dog had enough and stopped. I appreciate that to help her establish trust. The prices in general are fair and reasonable. You can find most top brands of dry food and they have a small freezer seating with raw bones. The toy selection is fantastic with ALL the best Kong toys in every size and character they sell!! We got all three of my dogs a Kong stuffy that matched their size and personal desires. I am happy to call this our local shop! read more

Went here for the first time to look around for puppy items. I was very surprised at all they had and the not very expensive prices. The cashier was knowledgable about the products in the store and what would be best for your breed of puppy. They had everything from homemade dog treats, toys, water bowls, crates, grooming care, eye. A few things I loved about this place was they had a do it your self dog washing station and a scale to weigh your dog. The cashier was able to answer questions for us about which brand of puppy food is better for the puppy and why that brand is good. She also said to bring the puppy in when we got him to be fitted for a collar. When entering the store we were given what they call their advertisements but it was really a magazine with tips and tricks for your dog. I also liked the magazine because it informed you that on some of the purchases they will donate food to a local shelter. Hollywood feed also does pet adoptions. I know a few times a year they have the golden retriever rescue site of dfw there so you can adopt one. Great place and very pet friendly!! read more

I know that I am not the only one who has gone into the Hollywood Feed in Colleyville and received less than stellar customer service from Chrisitan. I have been in on several occasions and he is standing at the back door vaping. He is impersonal and when he is there and there are other employees he scatters and doesn't bother to see if any customers need help. I have seen him on several occasions on his personal cell phone. My impression is that he avoids all customer interactions, because he hasn't gone out of his way to help me the way other employees have helped me. I do not see how this company feels he is a great asset. His customer services skills are lacking just as much as his personal appearance..I will go to general store that also offers frequent feeder for my dog's food. read more
