Google says they are closed permanently but they are not! Came here for a gift for a family member and they had a very large selection of Harley Davidson Hollywood shirts and other merchandise. Usually I avoid this intersection like the plague but all in all it wasn't bad -- store was orderly and clean and not hectic at all during the daytime. Do NOT buy anything from this store. I purchased a gift for someone and this store would not work with me to get one size larger. It is outside of 7 days but still within the same month I purchased it (never worn, tags still in place). Extremely poor customer service. This is a motorcycle gear store and they got a carefully picked selection of T-shirts, shoes, jackets and lots of other pretty cool accessories You wouldn't think that this small store would carry so much fun I was looking for a helmet and I found a very limited selection, only one unisex helmet that it wasn't exactly what I wanted and the rest are for male only. If I could give negative stars I would. We were treated horribly in this store. Upon inspecting a jacket they had on the hangers, an employee (an older small lady with short black hair) yanked the jacket away from us and told us that if we damaged the jacket at all we would be responsible for it (obviously). She acted as if we were not worthy to be looking at the items in the store. She said it would be best if we just left. A short time later another part of our group was checking out, and when we confronted the cashier about her associate she ignored our comments. I came to this particular location this past weekend while on a hunt for some "Harley Davidson- Hollywood" memorabilia. I had family visiting from out of town looking to collect as many souvenirs as possible to take back home. While the employee who helped us with a few questions was great, the other employee across the room was getting yelled at by, who I believe to be, the owner. I don't understand how you can discipline an employee with such a harsh tone, right there in the middle of the store with customers around! The employee was visibly embarrassed, but continued to stand there while being talked down to. Please avoid this store.The older gentleman doing all the yelling is misrepresenting the Harley Davidson brand and should definitely not be in any management position. read more

I must admit, all that I bought was one measly tshirt here. I found the place, thanks to Yelp... no thanks to the 2 star rating though. What in the world is up with that?!? Luckily I didn't stop and read the reviews before I went. My dad has two Harleys and about 200 Harley tshirts, so what happens when I'm traveling during Father's Day weekend and what I'm I to get someone who already buys himself what he wants? His 201th Harley shirt, of course. This location is smack dab in the middle of Hollywood, across the street from The Chinese Theater. I parked at the curb, ran in, grabbed the first tshirt that struck my eye and checked out at the register. The cashier lady was pleasant and rang up my shirt quickly. It was around $35, which is about the average price for a Harley Davidson tshirt everywhere. My daughter, who was in the car, people watching was probably hoping it took longer. read more

My boyfriend was intent on getting me a new motorcycle jacket, and our shopping trip on Melrose was not going well, we could not find anything that would fit well on my bike. YUCK. Came in here to look at shirts. The attendant Carlos came over while I was looking at shirts on the rack and told me not to touch the clothes because I was making a mess of the rack and that if I wanted to see something I needed to ask him for help. All the shirts and sizes were mixed on the rack so I hadn't figured out what I wanted to try on at that point. He insisted I was making a mess and that I HAD to ask him for styles and sizes. After I told him to leave me alone while I shopped he yelled that I could talk to the manager if I wanted to complain. He seemed very unstable and was a horrible representation of a brand that, as a Harley rider, is dear to my heart. Unfortunate. New Shirt never worn with tags still on item. 2 shirt was given as a gift but 1 was with wrong size. I let them kmow that there must have been a mix up on the size put in bag. I was out in Hollywood visiting from NY and stopped by to buy a shirt as a gift for a Harley man friend back home. Found one I liked. After I got home, I found out I had bought the wrong size. I made the same mistake at Bartells in Marina Del Ray. I contacted both stores, and while Bartells were as nice as can be and had no problem with me sending the shirt back with a postage paid envelope for the exchange of the right sized shirt, this Hollywood store would not even think of it. All I got was policy about 1 week returns. Now I have a shirt with no use for anyone I know. I will be out again in that area many more times since my son is stationed in the Army there and I now where I will be doing all my shopping for more of my Harley guys and gals in NY, and that is at Bartells and not in this Hollywood store. My brother bought my husband and I a shirt from this store(unfortunately). My husband's is a medium and he needs a large. I live in Georgia and was trying to find a way to get a large. I don't have receipt. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude from the get go. She said they are not responsible if shirt doesn't fit. I tell her of course not, I will pay for shipping. I couldn't find name of shirt and was trying to describe but she went off on me and I hung up. Before hanging up I asked for manager and she says she is manager. I called three other Harley Davidson's, Macon, GA, Marrietta GA and Glendale, CA. Everyone that I talked to at those stores had no problem at all with this request (and were soooo nice), but since it was bought in Hollywood, I had to deal with them because they don't have the same merchandise.
