For the past couple of years, I have been coming here twice a month for a gel manicure, deluxe pedicure and eyebrow wax. I pay about $73 total without the tip. They charge $1 if you pay with a debit or credit card. I feel like royalty when I come here because the nail technicians take their time doing your nails and massage your legs and hands. Also when there are not too many customers and in an effort to be efficient, one technician may do your manicure while the other does your pedicure. They get to know you by name and offer you bottled water. I was pleasantly surprised when they invited me to their Chinese New Year party at the store. I wasn't on a budget but damn they were just making up prices as they went when I asked why it was so much they had to talk in their language than someone else had to step in and made up some bs. I won't be going back. The gel even chipped off the next day so it's not like there using the best either and they keep asking if I want this or that am I sure how about this. Went in for a full set yesterday, right away they were friendly and we're ready to tend to my needs. David was the one who did my full set for me, and I loved it because he actually spent his time on them and kept making sure I was happy with how they were looking. New owner is amazing. Her name is Mia and she rocks! I had previously had an awful experience at this location and I am so unbelievable glad I gave it one more chance because the new owner and staff is incredible. I work in San Bernardino, so I've been searching for a nail salon near my work. I called Hollywood Nails and made an appointment. When I get there I'm told that I have to wait 40 minutes so. I tell them I had an appointment. They sit me at a chair and 10, 15, 20 minutes pass and I'm being ignored. So I get up and leave. Very, very bad experience!!! Horrible customer service!! Never going back! And do not recommend it to anyone!! Bad! Horrible service!!! read more

The ladies were very nice, explained everything really well, and were up on all the latest trends. I got a pedicure and everything was super sterile. I was a walk-in and didnt have to wait. They were friendly, and seated me promptly for a pedicure. The service didnt take longer than normal. They offer luxury packages at affordable prices. Excellent place!!!! You have to come here. First time trying this place and I have to say I will not go anywhere else. Not only are they open late to accommodate needs of people that work late, Tina and David are so nice and make sure you leave satisfied. They have a variety of Gel colors to pick from and offer so many options of designs. Unbelievable experience. They were recommended to me by my new hair stylist. It started ok, they're busy. I brought my own nail polish and nail conditioner. They talk a lot and tried to upsell me again and again. I was asked 4x if I wanted gel nails, upgraded pedicure and waxing. While working on my fingernails, another man came over and began talking in Vietnamese to the man working on my nails. Perhaps if my nail man wasn't distracted, he wouldn't have broken my $9.50 nail conditioner. Also, under the guise of socializing, they kept asking me personal questions. When I asked about being compensated for my broken nail conditioner, the woman taking my payment said it was a mistake and they wouldn't give me any money or discount. Loved it here!!! My husband got me a certificate for this place as a nice Christmas treat and I finally found time to go in today. I called as I was driving home from work to see if they were available and they were! She even offered directions if I needed them. When I arrived they were very welcoming and sweet and helped me with their pricing and suggestions... Mind you, I had just got off a very long shift at work and was tired and not in my best shape (wearing pants and work shoes feeling quite frumpy) I was feeling insecure about getting a pedicure, but she made me feel comfortable and insured there were sandals to wear out. Now idk how you all feel, but I'm one indecisive girl, I usually get pretty anxious and feel rushed whenever I go out somewhere new, but they made me feel not rushed at all and let me take my time choosing my colors and I even talked it out with her to get suggestions because I wanted to go with something a little new for me and spoil myself. (I got a gel manicure with French tip and a spa pedicure with extra callous remover and some wax thing) After all was chosen, I relaxed and let them go to work. Amazing! Soothing and a very clean job! I hate going into nail places where they talk amongst themselves and barely to the customer, but here they interacted with me and when I didn't feel like talking there was entertaining tv on (not just crappy stuff and commercials) she fit in an up sale with my eyebrows and even though I only trust one person to do them usually, she had made me feel so comfortable I let her do mine and she exceeded expectations and made my eye brows look on point! I came here to get a gel mani/pedi with my man and he was getting a simple pedicure. (We do this all the time but thought we would try Hollywood nails because it's closest to our work). We were taken care of by a man and woman. The attendants barely speak English- couldn't understand them at all. Their entire facility is filled with old outdated equipment- even the chairs were falling apart. We were on time for our appointment and still had to wait to be seated. As soon as we were seated we were completely ignored for 30 minutes- it was obvious they were under staffed. Meanwhile the water from the pedicure station flooded over the edge of the basin soaking my shoes and my pants. When they turned off the water, I sat there waiting so long for them to start on me that the water became cold. When they finally did come to check on us, they clipped my skin several times and obviously have never removed powder nails before because instead of soaking it until it was ready to come off they filed it down with the dremmel until my nails were paper thin and damaged. Then when they tried to file my nails they were rough, lopsided and the shape looked awful. After them filing and re filing my nails I decided to leave before they did anything else stupid. They charged us $78 for their idiocy. read more

This place has new owners so I'm not sure how the place was ran back last year as I never went. However I started going when the new owners opened. These people are absolutely amazing. They are very kind and accommodating to the customers needs. It is nice to walk into a place and everyone knows your name and remembers everything about you or your kids etc... I read so many great reviews about this place so I was really looking forward to giving them my business. I went on a Wednesday to get the mani/ pedi $20 special. The woman asked if I wanted the deluxe for $35 and she told me what it included. I asked her if $35 was the price for the deluxe pedi plus the mani and she said it was so I figured I'd splurge a little bit and get it. The woman was really rough, I think because she was in a hurry. I didn't say anything but the look on my face said it all. I surprised she didn't make me bleed. I also asked for an eyebrow wax and I felt as if she was going to rip my eyebrows off. So when i went to pay, the woman charged me a ridiculous amount of money. Worst experience ever. Just moved to area and thought I would give this place a try. Went in for gel manicure and pedicure. My cuticles were not even cut and nails are all uneven and not shaped. My pedicure is HORRIBLE. The nail polish looks like its runny. Paid $57 and was NOT SATISFIED AT ALL. Showed the owner my nails the same day. She said that she would give me a week to go back and have them fix them. Called 3 days later and she did not keep her word. She would not fix them at all. Will never go back. I've never had a "Go-To" nail salon, until now. I had called in before going just to check for pricing and wait times, and they were able to see me right away. When I went into the salon it was not busy at all. I was seated right away for a basic pedicure. Tina was the best! She was very nice and caring, as were the rest of the staff. I went to this place a couple of times, but stopped going because every time I went there was only one person working. There were times when she would stop working on me to start someone else and then come back. I don't have a lot off time and with only one person working on me...I was there a long time! The owner is nice, but she needs to hire more people. My other problem was that she was open and closed whenever she wanted. I went there many times and it was closed when it was supposed to be open. What did it for me is that I went in and again she was the only one, told me to come back tomorrow!!! She still had plenty of time before she closed. Their add on prices are ridiculous it's already unbelievable that they now charge extra for everything in their so called "packages". When I went they handed me the menu and i chose the $28 pedi and my daughter the $23 pedi. Handed them back the menu and when I chose my color they asked if I wanted gel polish. I wanted my polish to last so I said yes. They didnt disclose the extra price and I ended up paying a ridiculous $81!!! I told them they should tell there customers of any additional pricing to give them a chance to decide, if she had I would have just gotten regular polish. On top of that she asked me 3x if I wanted a manicure and then asked if I wanted my eyebrows waxed. I told her I just wanted the pedis to avoid any more sales attempts otherwise she would have probably asked if I wanted everything on the damn menu. I really liked the way the girl did my pedi and I planned on giving her a good tip...but not after that outrageous bill they can tip her Out of that $81 they robbed me of. read more
