This place!!!! I went one time, because it was convenient for me. I wish I knew the name of the woman who did my nails. I would surely put her on BLAST!!! She was so rude, acted like she didn't want to be bothered. There was nothing friendly or caring about her. AND, she wasn't that good. I gave them a second chance a month later, hoping it wouldn't be her turn. It was her turn. Another dry experience with her. She has a nasty attitude. There was another young lady there who had gotten a pedicure from this same woman. She was also complaining about her. She and I compared notes and said RIGHT THERE out loud, "we will never come back up in here." I'm just saying, Don't do it. The bad reviews you see about this place are true. read more

What ever you do, do not visit this disgusting establishment. The staff is unapologetically rude and have no integrity. Literally begging people to sit for 45 minutes as they were currently working on customers. The instruments are not sanitary at all and they even water down their older polish (right in front of you). They talked about my disabled mothers swollen foot in a foreign language to the point it was so obvious that we looked at one another to leave. The prices and the establishment are not cohesive. You can go to downtown DC or half a mile up the road to a far better establishment with cheaper prices, especially in regards to the customer service. I hope this place gets shut down. read more

I get my nails done every 2 weeks with Nikki! She's awesome and can do a lot of trendy cool nail designs! Only down side is it looks a little run down! read more

Meh. Only went due to being close and needing a nail repair. Gel nails now have bubbles in them. Repair is clumpy and will have to be re-done. Will not be returning. read more

Stay far, far away! Didn't realize how dirty the place was until a few minutes into my gel manicure. Should have left then but felt awkward. One girl started my mani and another finished. My nails were cut so uneven that the second lady had to fix them and they were way shorter than I wanted. The white part of my French tips is uneven and I had to file a few of my nails when I got home because they were so rough and jagged. Huge mistake coming here. Lesson learned. My sister & I decided to get our nails done and saw this place when I was at Bloom. I thought the price and service was good. I got a mani and a pedi, and my nails still look good. I did the new gel french manicure and I have washed the dishes, worked in the garden, moved furniture, and many other things that would cause a regular mani to be ruined, but not with the gel. I'm very happy with the service I received and will go back again! read more

If I had an option I will give this place NO STARS!!!!! Idc how badly u need your nails done you need to avoid this stupid place. A lot of people warned me about this place but I really needed to get my nails done ASAP so I said let me check it out. First off when I got there they wanted me to out my foot in a dirty used sink and I had to tell them to clean it because I was not getting bacteria from their dumb salon! Then the lady that did my pedicure rushed through it and it just looked sooo messy! She tried to scrape my dead skin with a used blade!! Like wth this place has no clue what being sanitary is! She basically butchered my foot into uneven pieces and didn't even attempt to smooth it out! I couldn't take it anymore I had to stop her and just leave I told her I wasn't paying the full price and this other technician came barking down my back that I had to pay the full $23 I refused what she did was not worth $23. We argued back and forth about it until it was pointless I asked for the owners name and they refused to give it to me I definitely will be going back for my refund!! Terribly disappointing and awful service. While running errands I ran into Hollywood Nails as I wanted to get shellac nails off and a regular manicure. I was able to get seen right away, although off the bat I had to ask three times which chair to sit (that sums up the attention to detail the manager paid to me). Throughout the manicure cell phones were going off and nail techs were having conversations on their cells phones while tending to customers--one even had the speaker phone on talking with her daughter who just came home from school and was upset about something. The more I looked around, the more I saw old, torn office chairs for the customers to sit in and general untidiness, such as food sitting out in the back when I went to wash my hands. The gentleman doing my nails didn't greet me (I assume bc he didn't speak English) and after soaking my hands in acetone, pretty much used his nails to chip away the old gel manicure. I found out later this cost an extra $5...not advertised and not mentioned, although I imagined it would cost me a little more than a regular manicure. And he made sure to pout the acetone back into the same container he poured it out of when I sat down. The ten or so emory boards at his station were all well previously used, and the little block to buff my nails had material falling off of it. He went to get a new one, and when he buffed my pinky finger drew blood. Didn't apologize and didn't put any aneseptic on it. I should have left at that point. My nails were painted and the drying mechanism they use for regular manicures is the little fans on the table--so after he finally got my manicure finished, which had to have three nails re-done, he got up and walked away. I thought maybe there was a drying table where I could sit with my hands down but it has just the lights--no fan. Thus, I was incredibly disappointed with the experience, and as of now (3 hours after) four of my nails look rough and uneven. I knew going from a gel manicure to a regular one that I would not have perfectly shiny and even nails--but the RUDE service on top of a crappy job really soured the whole experience, which cost me $18. There were a few ladies in there who seemed to be regulars so maybe I just had a bum nail guy. But the overall lack of cleanliness, disinterest in me as a paying customer and the (in my opinion) inadequate drying station really soured me. I probably sat there for 30 minutes with my hands in the air waiting for my nails to dry. Also, the tech didn't ask me to pay ahead of painting my nails, so I did smudge a nail trying to open my wallet, which he fixed. Next time I run errands I will be sure to go by Fusion Nails and save the headache. read more

its kind of a hit or miss with that place. a few years back it was the same team and they were all good, now i think they are getting all new people who are very young and very unexperienced. i came in to get a gel manicure and their color selection wasn't really exciting. i picked one anyway. then she started doing my nails [the clean up of cuticles, filing the shape, filing the top] and she was doing it slow, which didnt bother me since i figured she is a newbie and needs time, no she was also not doing a good job - too gentle, too hard [when she was filing my nails with that black harder grid file she pushed so hard that she actually cut my skin open on the pillows of my fingers [like a papercut] with a file, and not just once, but 3 of my fingers had it], not consistent nail-to-nail, shapes were off... so i didnt wanna pay the $ for gel considering that she would probably not do a good job; and asked her to just do the clean up and do a off white top. i wasn't paying attention at the end didnt notice that she actually didnt put a 2nd coat on a couple of nails [and it definitely shows] and this was after she already put the clear on top. i asked her to redo those, paid and left. oh AND never got my hand massage :/ the best part! not to mention, she checked her phone twice when it went off while painting my coats. and i dont mean between coat to maybe let them dry, no in the middle of it, like she was on my 3rd nail in and just went into her drawer and checked it. seriously? super unprofessional . id go back but only to the older ladies who have been there since the very beginning when i started going. read more
