I have done so much research, and back home in Napa there are only a couple places that made my initial cut. Apparently, they made everyone else's cut to. With appointments being out over a month, I found myself here in Reno and decided to take a look around and see if maybe there was a great place here to consider. I have never been so lucky, Hollywood nails not only took me same day but did an amazing job! I was very nervous as I've never had long nails before and I've never had this process. The process was painless, quick, and enjoyable. The massage chairs here are quite nice! I will gladly be traveling back frequently to keep these puppies looking beautiful! read more

Was in town for work over the weekend & my daughter treated for gel mani so we called to make an appointment. When we arrived an hour later we found out our appointment was never written on the book. The guy at the front desk was pretty rude about it. They made us wait 40 minutes only to do a bad job. The lady working with my daughter cut her & made her bleed in two different areas. The lady working on me went heavy on nail polish on some nails & made them look lumpy & disproportionate. This is a one & done type of place. I would not recommend this business. read more

Meh... not wow not bad either. I felt like I was in there for hours which was kinda annoying. My gel toenail polish already has a chip (umm I get gel so it won't chip 45$) bothersome. My nails look wonky in spots too. The only other problem was my are short enough to ball up a fist but he charged me 55 for medium, um ya I thought that was BS, felt over charged a little taken advantage of. Well that why he only got a 10 dollar tip, just sayin!!! I most likely won't go back. I think once was plenty. read more

Today I went in for a pedicure and fill. I have been in many times before and always was very impressed with the revives. When I went in today I found out they were under new owner ship and let me tell you they did not let me down! Unlike many places they spent a ton of time on my pedicure! massaging, hot rags and to top it off a nice sugar scrub not only was that amazing but I left with the best nails I've had in a long time! Very polite and friends and joked with myself and friend the whole time. Make sure to ask for Helen, John, or sasa! read more

Duong did an amazing job! I recently moved from LA to Sparks and it was a challenge to find a good nail spa. Luckily I trusted another Yelper's review and I am so happy I did! I am very picky with my nails and I have no complaints! My pedicure was awesome too! I love the stone detail (massage with stones, first time) Duong was nice, friendly and took his time. I enjoy coming here for my pedicures and my manicures. The environment is very clean, relax and modern. My first time here was right after they change the owner. I have gone back until now. Sasa was really good on pedicure. She was so sweet and patient with me while picked out my color. She does a amazing job with foot massage, exfoliating, and all that other pedi stuff. I was immediately greeted by the staff when I walked in. No wait time on a Thursday afternoon. I got the deluxe pedicure and shellac manicure which was done by another staff while I was getting my pedicure done. They pay attention to every detail and you actually get a REAL massage not just someone putting lotion on you and rushing. On more than one occasion I've had an appointment only to arrive and have to wait over 30 minutes for my manicure and pedicure- very few cars in parking lot snd even fewer nail techs working here. Find a better place to go. They don't appreciate their customers. read more

I came here because of the good reviews. However I was totally disappointed. I got an acrylic fill on my nail with Hannah. She finished the entire process in 20 minutes. When I was leaving I mentioned that wow that was fast. Within a few days the nail started to peel and the polish was also peeling off. I also did the pedicure and it was quick that I did not feel I had a pedicure except I had a new polish. Definitely not going back read more

This has been my go to pedi spot for a few years now. Even with the change of ownership I highly recommend. Customer service is amazing! Water is always nice and hot just how I like it. So I have been coming here for awhile. I have tried other salons in the area prior to me coming to see Devlon regularly. He always takes my ideas from pictures and makes them happen on my fingers and toes. There are couple of things I like about this shop. It's quiet, they whole staff is nice, polite and work well together. The quality of work by Devlon is awesome. He has on countless occasions has fit me in for an emergency nail fix, because I decided to use my nail as a tool and broke it. The other thing I like about him is he honest when he can't do a design because the length I keep my mails would not lend itself to the design integrity. However, again he'll help me come up with a unique design. Finally, pricing is reasonable and the quality of products used is comparable to any shop in town. Ohh, yeah you gotta get the hot stones in the pedicure, they do wonders for aching legs. read more

I just had a wonderful visit at Hollywood Nails. A very young looking woman named Lee did my nails. She was personable, nice, and down to earth. I like that she laughed and had a sense of humor, because it made me feel comfortable. Their massage chairs are the best I've had this far!!!!! It really massaged my head, waist and glutes, AND the seats recline! I have never closed my eyes and felt soooo relaxed in a nail shop before! Thank you Lee. Yet again exceeded my expectations. I went in for a full gel set of stiletto nails of course Hannah ( I believe) was more than willing to do so. They did my mom and I's nails at the same time which is always an absolute bonus. Anyways, she knew how I liked my nails medium/long as usual and did so perfectly! She also did them just the colors I wanted. She was very gentle as well and talked to me and actually made me feel welcomed which is highly important to me. I don't like quite people. The pedicures are the best because they first do a nice long massage, then get the hot rocks for a second massage, then tops it with a nice hot towel. It is so relaxing. This is my new go to nail place. I've come 3 times. Once with an appointment, once for my birthday with a group and once on a walk in, and the staff has always been fast and nice. On my last visit I got the deluxe pedicure. It is just like the regular which has a massage, hot stone rub and paint but with an added sugar scrub and cooling mud mask. The mask was COLD. For a minute it was almost like I had just put my legs in the Truckee river! But it was nice and made my legs so soft. I had them do a nice clean french tip with a little glitter for a $5 up charge. I love that they can do glitter. The place is clean with nice massage chairs. The 5 employees are all very nice and you see a lot of regulars come in and out which I think says a lot. I even got my husband to come on my birthday and he was surprised at how much deaf skin they took off. He had perty man feet that didn't scratch me when we snuggled.
