I've only been living in Los Angeles for about two years at this point and sadly I've only made…read morethree trips to The Midnight Hour Records. My first trip was about a year and a half ago when some friends were in town and we went record shopping. I'm not as big into buying records as I once was but I was immediately blown away but not only the selection of records, but the huge selection of VHS tapes, CDs, random odds and ends, and shirts as well. The store itself is pretty dang huge and once of the first things you see when you walk in is the stage against one of the walls. How many shows did I go too? well, only one because I live in DLTA so most shows happen where I live, so I rarely wanted to drive 45 mins to San Fernando. My second trip was for a night market around the holidays with my wife, and my third trip was last week for the Final 818 Day show. I arrived a little late to the show and walked in during Human Garbage and the night was truly magical from that point on. With a lineup that consisted of Internal Affairs, Piece by Piece, Carry On, Twitching Tongues, and God's Hate, I can safely say this was probably one of the best shows I've ever been too and something I'll remember for years to come. The atmosphere at this shop is positive, violent, and full of heart in the best way. The sound at this shop was dope (minus the frequent mic issues) and each set was perfect. I've been actively going to shows since 2003 and the fact that in 2026 I was finally able to see Carry On play, is something I will absolutely never forget, let alone that I got to see them play a small show instead of Sound and Fury Fest. Overall, The Midnight Hour Records was the best thing San Fernando had to offer and it's a shame that the city didn't do everything it could to keep it there. The downtown area is absolutely dead and this place gave it a bit of life that will sorely be missed. Luckily, West Hollywood seems to be the future home for this shop and I can't wait to check it out as soon as it opens. Long live The Midnight Hour.

This space has had a real positive impact on me. I attended an event hosted here, and was able to connect with a nonprofit and found a volunteer opportunity that I most likely wouldn't have discovered otherwise. The store fosters connections and supports the community through various activities. I definitely want to check out one of the rock shows in the future.

The staff is beyond friendly and, even though this location is small, it has a fantastic array of comics and other collectables. Even with my pull list at their other location, I always find something I have to pick up on my quick visit. They also have fantastic signings here throughout the year so there's a good chance that you can meet either one of your favorite writers or be introduced to your next obsession. My only complaint isn't even their fault & it's the parking. Like most of this area of NoHo, it's all limited street parking with meters or you're going to have to cross your fingers that you can find something in the residential streets in the area. But honestly, it's worth it. If you live in the area and are looking for your new favorite neighborhood shop, this is it.

The stock is about what you would find in any other comic shop, with the added benefit of being more expensive. I came in today, a Monday, to shop back issues, but the back issue bins were blocked, and covered in the new comics due out on Wednsday, with big signs thwt say "do not touch". I would guess this is why every other comic book shop on the planet has limited or no hours on TUESDAY to prepare Wednesday books. Either way, 25% of the store, you know the stuff collectors want, is unavailable to even shop. There are better and more hospitable shops in Burbank.

First, if you're expecting a polished, curated vintage boutique, All Things and More probably isn't that place. You absolutely have to dig. Things are constantly coming through the doors, sometimes faster than Zach could possibly sort through them. And honestly? That's one of the reasons I love it. Zach could pull out every desirable vintage piece, research it, clean it, stage it, photograph it beautifully and charge vintage-boutique prices. He could probably make a lot more money. But he doesn't. Instead, people like me watch his Instagram, see something amazing come in, and practically race each other down there hoping we get to it first. I have furnished a good portion of my own home this way. My dining table, chandelier, leather sofa and several of my favorite vintage pieces came from All Things and More. I've found brand-new items still in their boxes, beautiful vintage furniture, clothing and some wonderfully strange treasures that I would have paid considerably more for somewhere else. People from the entertainment industry also shop there for clothing and pieces for productions, and items from productions sometimes make their way back through the store. You truly never know what you're going to find. But none of that is actually the biggest reason I support this place. It's Zach. I affectionately call him "the Saint of the Valley of the Sun." I've personally watched this man make sure hungry people had something in their stomachs. I've seen him offer water, fruit, tamales and Cup Noodles. I've watched him give clean underwear and clothing to people experiencing homelessness and tell them to go find themselves some pants and shirts. I've watched him give people work when they needed an opportunity. He helps provide food through a pantry and has stepped up when people in his community were afraid to go out and needed help. And one of the things that has stayed with me most is watching him encounter someone who is struggling and simply ask, "How are you feeling?" Not "What do you want?" "How are you feeling?" He sees people. So yes, you may find a dusty basket. You may have to move things around. You may leave with dust on your hands. This is a rough, old-school thrift shop, and nobody who loves it is going to pretend otherwise. But if you slow down long enough to really look, you might also find an incredible piece for your home that you can actually afford. You might find something with a history. You might find something nobody else noticed. And somewhere in the middle of all that beautiful chaos, you'll probably find Zach making sure somebody has eaten that day. That is why people are drawn to him. All Things and More isn't perfect. It isn't curated for Instagram. It's messy, unpredictable, affordable, interesting and deeply human. And I hope it stays that way.

The owner is such a nice person he gives to his community. He always has a smile and something to say when you walk in he's very welcoming!! he prices his items like a true thrift store. I can't reiterate how good the customer service is here the owner is such a gem. We love you Zach!!!!!
