This place is awesome! So, I had been going to the right side of the park to enjoy the scenery and play soccer: they got some awesome fields! They also got the tennis ball courts that are great and well lit, a true sports complex. Somehow I made it to the left side of the sports complex area and made it to the walking trail which is right about a mile all around, pet friendly and really cool as it leads you to a top of a hill where you can catch some awesome good ole Las Vegas sunsets! Everyone seems respectful with distance and having pets on a leash and friendly as we walk around all together... definitely a good getaway at the end of a hard day... come on by to check it out!

A park for adults with pickleball courts.

Close to the mountains. Great view of the city. Nice Pickleball courts, but not much more going on out there.

My dogs really enjoy this park. The field is so huge for the doggos to run across and get their…read moreexercise in. The downside to this park is that it's infested with flies and dog poop everywhere. That's usual for dog parks but I feel like this one is a bit excessive. I know they mow the grass often so I think it's an issue with owners picking after their pets.

this place is an absolute paradox: its simultaneously the worst & best dog park in all of Las…read moreVegas. Let's start with the ambiance: chill, kinda green but mostly poopish Its in a suburb where redlining would have you believe "decent folk" live & prosper & pick up their dog sh!t. But no. At least not the dog sh!t part. which is crazy cuz this is really a place where "due on to others" would make the most sense to practice. WTF dont people pick up their dogs shit is truly baffling, but I will say this... The park is huuuuuggeeee and sometimes when my dog is off playing in certain corners of this dusty green patchy canine dystopia I do occasionally miss his poops... Or I see him pooping and then by the time I get over there I cannot find the turds i know i saw him drop. #phantomPoops So what do I do? pick up other people's poop to pay it forward so that we're not all just out here dodging land mines of poop. It takes a village to .... keep the dog park clean you motherf@ckers!!! And if aint the poop, its da mfn MUD. Bruuuhhhh its the summer the grass is brown, dry & fucked up so where tf these big ass mud puddles come from???? Some might even wonder where the water is coming from when there is not a single spigot or watering hole near these mug patches. might it be runoff bubbling up from the nearby water treatment facility. which might explain the waft of mwuck mwuck in the air? We're not asking questions. were just observing. No shade. literally.... no shade THERE IS NO SHADE AT THIS PARK. There are a fee trees that clusters of locals gather under to have arbitrary conversations about the latest sully. which means i must bake in the sun cuz i refuse to get sucked into dog owner small talk. If you're hoping for any quiet UV protection in the desert, bring a hat or an umbrella... or walk into the talkers circle in the shade with headphones on. they dont even have to be on fr fr. just walk up and start rapping an E40 song and u should be okay. but anyway, its very NOT SHADY. you & ur dog will burn alive by noon. all this... And yet... I still love this place. Why? Because like I said... it's massive. airplane-hangar-meets-football-field type sh@t. And no matter how crowded it gets, there's always a patch of dirt and grass you can claim like the antisocial homesteader you are deep down.. This is a lifesaver for me but even more so ... my dog, who, bless his obsessive little heart, is deeply committed to his one true love: the ball. He's doesn't arrive at the dog park with a friendly attitude and wiggly tail ready to sniff butts or make friends. Oh no. He runs in with a stank attitude and prays he doesn't see his enemies Puppies & High-energy dogs. Naw That's a hard pass from my mans -- they trigger something dark in his soul and he becomes,... well... a Super Asshole. There's really no other way to put it. --face palm-- So, for us, having this much open space means he can live his ball-chasing fantasy without turning into a furry rage machine. And I, too, get to exist in my peaceful introvert bubble, dodging poop mines like a seasoned vet while my dog sprints joyfully into the dust clouded horizon. Would I recommend this place to someone with a weak stomach or white sneakers? No. Would I trade it for a smaller, cleaner park where I have to pretend to like other humans and their hyperactive doodles? Absolutely not. it's filthy it's wild and it's a dream come true. Just watch your step.

It's got plenty of space, separate areas for big and small dogs, and even some volleyball area if your furry friend is feeling extra energetic. The park has a running track, soft turf, water stations to keep dogs cool, and lots of shady spots where owners can hang out. Whether you're a local looking for a regular spot or just passing through with your pup, it's an easygoing place to unwind. Even though it's close to the freeway, it somehow still feels pretty peaceful. There are trees and wall that help block out the view and the people who come here are usually local homeowners and renters. With easy parking and quick freeway access, it's a no-stress spot to let your dog burn off some energy while you take a breather.

The dog park was nice as well. It didn't smell bad the way some dog parks do. There is a large dog park that is long. It has a nice planter area and a large tree to sit under. The medium dog park is nice as well, smaller but clean and didn't smell. The last dog park was "closed for maintenance" and we had a whole herd of dogs with us. Not many people there made it nice and we brought all the dogs into the large dog park and they ran and ran. I like how quiet this park is, how well it is taken care of and the dog parks being well maintained. I feel like this park is a hidden gem in our neighborhood.

The restrooms are about as clean as you can reasonably expect for a public park (which honestly says a lot), and there's a water fountain where you can easily refill your bottle before or after a run. Small detail, big win. It's about 1.3 miles from here to the Wells Trailhead, and the pavement is pretty evenly laid out, making it great for running. There are posted signs warning about coyotes and rattlesnakes, so definitely keep that in mind nature likes to remind you who was here first. I've only seen a pack of coyotes once in the late afternoon, closer toward the Pabco Trail where it's a bit more wooded. I ran into them from about 20 feet away my heart probably skipped a beat but they didn't even look in my direction. Apparently I wasn't interesting enough that day. Overall, this is my favorite park and trail to run. It's peaceful, well kept, and just wild enough to keep things interesting.
