So we just moved to Katy and my nail salon is closer towards Houston the east side of west Houston where I go all the time, I looked up on yelp about this salon, and I'm glad that I did the people here are very friendly, outgoing, and funny! Been coming here for a couple years now after I moved to the area and was looking for a good nail tech I could trust that would do a good job especially because I'm very particular with my nails! I had my last nail tech for 20+ years and it's hard to find someone that you can connect with. When I called they scheduled me in right away and I came into the shop and was greeted by everyone. Duy aka Z was the one who was assigned to do my nails and I told him I was very particular cause I've had a bad experience with a previous nail tech before my last nail tech and from the minute we started talking and the way he worked we connected instantly and I loved his work! I will follow them to the end of the world and the entire staff there is AMAZING!!! read more

This is the ONLY salon I go to in this area. Very friendly, clean, accommodating, good service for value, great job. I get mani pedis. I don't have to wait for my favorite technician because each staff member is my favorite. I've had a lot of bad experiences enough to know that they are very consistent in providing a quality service every time. My guy goes here, too. His toenails looked like he was cutting them with a weed whacker. He was reluctant about going to a Nail Spa, but relented, and gave it a try. He's been back and has added this service to his personal care routine. He likes the staff, too. Prices are right in line with good quality service. Hope to see you there. read more

Decided to give this spot a try, since the reviews seemed promising. I only get shellac, since my nails grow long on their own. I'm very particular, and like my nails to be as square as possible. I was very very satisfied with how my claws came out. The inside of the shop is small but unique. The nail techs were nice, and the person that did my nails gave me great conversation. I didn't catch his name, but he's was very knowledgeable and very humorous. I will definitely be back. read more

Not sure who left that 1 star review about no top coat, but I've been going to Hoang for years AND her designs. And in all those years, he's always done a great job. Hoang is the BEST nail tech around. Every time I stop by it feels like family. I hadn't been here in about 2 yrs but when I told him he would be working on my wedding nails he was up to the challenge. This is a clean place to go, all of the nail techs are amazing. Best nail salon in the area. Been here twice for pedicures now and my mom has been a few more times and we both can't stop raving about it. As a nail tech myself it's hard to find a place to come and get pampered and you really get that here. There's many options for pedicures, and about 4 times as many options for colors. Too many to choose from if you ask me. I can never decide in a timely manner. Mostly ran by the fellas here but if you know what I'm talking about ask for "co" she's the older lady. She's where it's at for the pedicure. read more

Hoang does my full sets his the best :-) and Duy has done my daughters Manicure for me, both are excellent in terms of skills and service. They are friendly, polite and professional. The place is conducive and they have massage chair for customers while you get you pedi done. Overall good experience given. I recommend to everyone! read more

Update! Went back for the first time during coronavirus. The whole staff follows all the protocols by wearing masks, having hand sanitizer. All guests must wear masks as well. It is based on appointment (must contact to set up appointment ). When it comes to customer service, everyone at this establishment are absolutely sweethearts as in they are friendly, helpful, and give you the nails you are looking for! Whether you're doing a manicure or a pedicure, they can accommodate both. Came here with another person first thing in the morning and they were able to accommodate us and get our nails, hands and feet, done to what we are looking for! Absolutely enjoyed being here. And it only took one hour for both of us. And I felt like in comparison to other places it was quick with high-quality work! Very clean work environment with a TV that plays movies so if you're not trying to move while you're getting your nails done it's perfect~ Will definitely come back! read more

My 2nd time back and this was better than the last! Hoang was so accommodating with my schedule because I had to move my appointment around due to prior engagements. I arrived 30 mins prior to my appointment, and oh wow it was packed! Luckily I didn't have to wait that long. After a few mins, my nail tech started working on my full set. I wanted something festive to match my Christmas tree! Haha don't judge me. He was super sweet and accommodating. Once again, did an almond shape with red and some sparkles. Super cute! I had my full set and pedicure at the same time. It was nice. This time my lady technician took her time with my pedicure. It was relaxing!! Staff was super friendly and efficient so no complaints. By far the only male dominated nail salon you'll ever go to, but won't regret it! They do amazing work. If you're in need of a mani and pedi, for sure come here. Decided to give this spot a try since the reviews seemed promising. I did have acrylic and shellac, but have switched to overlay since my nails have grown. I have had my nails done by Bonnie. She is so cool and chill, and she will work with you on color and style! I'm very particular, and like my nails to be as thin as possible without compromising strength. Bonnie delivers and I was her first repeat customer! Love the prices and free Netflix shows too! XO read more

I was searching for a new nail salon (one that isn't so expensive compared to my last one) and I found it! My friend recommended me this place so I called to see if I can make an appointment. I know Fridays are a busy day for most salons so I called and the owner said if I don't mind waiting he could squeeze me in. I get there and I told them I had called and he said just sit tight and I'll be right with you. I didn't wait to long before he got started and everything was going great, he asked what I wanted and I showed him a picture and said that I've never had this shape before so I was hesitant but he said he would take care of me so that but me at ease. At the end I loved the shape and the design I chose so I was a happy camper! And the thing that really made me happy was that there's no extra charge for shape. My old salon I went to they randomly decided to charge extra and that caught me off guard. So big thumbs up to this place it is my new salon. Thank you for your service! read more

My nail tech just bought this shop and is going to revamp it completely! With his personality and style, the interior of that salon is going to be fabulous! I have been going to him for some time now, I am ALWAYS getting compliments multiple times a day for my nails. He is an amazing person and tech!! I've been trying to find a new place to get my nails done because my last shop I was faithful too started to decline a bit in quality... I decided to come to this place on my birthday this past Wednesday to get my nails done and I think I may have just found my new nail place. I took my wife with me as emotional support (and to use her as a guinea pig for the pedicures) and she loved it too! The lovely young man who did her toes made a joke, asking if my feet were as rough as my old faithful running errands dirty pair of Converse, which made me laugh. I guess he will just have to find out the next time we come back and I get a pedicure!!! Overall, the vibe in there is great, very laid back, extremely clean. I also like how it's very close to my house so I'll definitely be coming here for my nails. read more

Love this salon and all the guys that are there! This is my third visit and each time I'm more impressed than the time before. I'm pretty picky and they are patient with me while I browse the colors. They make it a point to address me by name and have friendly conversation during the service. The manager/owner is the best..he's hysterical and has no hesitation joking around. read more

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I must say I am highly impressed. I usually don't write reviews and don't usually visit different shops because I'm very picky when it comes to my nails. I normally drive an hour away to get my nails done but after reading reviews I gave it a shot. They were wonderful in every aspect, they asked if I like the shape and color prior to moving on to the next nail. I will be visiting them again. Love the color!! read more

This place is awesome! All a girl has ever wanted is to be understood when at the nail salon. The guys at Hollywood nails will make you feel so comfortable. Most of the staff is very fluent in english, so no need to worry about communication barriers. If you don't like something or want it a different way you can openly say so and they will take care of it for you, without making faces or remarks, ha! But you get quality work, they are very experienced. My go to is Zuwee, he's the funniest. I will literally chat with him the whole time and he will genuinely make me laugh. Plus he's a perfectionist and will take his time to do an amazing job. This place is great, I highly recommend trusting them. Another surprising thing is there prices are so affordable!! Don't pay attention to the outside or location and trust the team to deliver you so beautiful nails. read more

It's so nice to have my nails done and not walk away with cuticles bleeding. The person doing my pedicure was gentle and managed to not put me into a tickling fit. I love she used pomace instead of cheese grater. Zee did my manicure and took his time as well! No blood! I will be back! He even suggested a color for me and it is perfect! The best part I was there for an hour and left feeling relaxed and proud of the appearance of my nails! read more

I had a really pleasant experience here for the first time. I will most definitely be back. I was greeted when I walked through the door and seated right away. There was a lot of back and forth banter between the techs and customers which I LOVE. They seemed to know all their customers by name. My tech Hong (I hope I didn't mess up his name) was the bomb. We talked and joked and he did a great job on my nails. Their prices are very reasonable also which was the icing on the cake. The only thing I have to complain about is my eyebrows. I took a chance and for them some. I didn't really like them but they aren't terrible. The lady made them thinner than I would like. She didn't really ask me how I wanted them so it was partially my fault. I'll stick to getting them threaded once they grow back. But that wasn't enough for me to knock a star off. I'll be back when it's time to get a fill. read more

I've been coming to this shop ever since the owner Hoang moved here. Hoang is the best nail tech I've ever had since moving to Houston, the whole team has become like family! Duy does all my pedicure needs & is THE best. T.T is great as well when Duy isn't available. The are always very clean and professional but also hilarious. I was there for a pedicure and was able to go to a chair immediately. Vu was the gentleman that did my pedicure. He asked if the water was okay and wasn't too rough. Pleasant atmosphere. Male nail technicians primary. Moderately priced and nice level of nail care for natural nails. Good conversation with the tech who did my nails. Applied a little bit of flair to my shellac polish that I really loved. I had an appointment for manicure and pedicure, but they did not perform them at the same time. I waited about an hour to get my pedicure and it was just ok. Neither of them did a massage, which is generally included at other salons, but after waiting for that long, I had to go. The experience wasn't relaxing if that's your goal but my nails were pretty and the polish lasted for weeks without a chip or scratch. He did say that he would do a repair if anything happened before 2 weeks so sort of a guarantee, which is nice. They do really good business here so call ahead with plenty of flexibility for them to get you in. read more

First of all this place is under NEW MANAGEMENT!! By the one and only Hoang. I cannot wait until this shop is completely renovated, and transformed. This place is ran by amazing people, I'm so happy I found Hoang a couple years ago, his work is outstanding he has an eye for perfection and will give you what you envision to his best ability. I have yet to find anyone who even comes close to how he handles shape, Iam a big person on that, the shape has to be even on all 10 fingers. He cares for his clients, literally I've seen people cry to him about their problems. If this is not enough to convince you this is the best nail salon then something is wrong with you, and you're weird... One thing I do recommend before going here is to make an appointment, this place is and will be a hot spot soooo if you walk in you will be waiting. Prices are also very fair. If you want a salon where they are NOT trying to push sloppy work you've found it. They take there time and make sure your nails are to your liking. They are kind and friendly!! I texted them at 11-12pm and they texted me saying they would reply back in the morning! They texted me bright and early letting me know around what time they could book me! They do amazing work! And are so welcoming! read more

I decided to bring my husband to this nail shop because I had been here before for a pedicure and had a good experience. I thought it would be the perfect place for him to feel comfortable getting his pedicure while also receiving great service. When we walked in, we were greeted by a woman with the biggest smile. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I honestly thought she was going to be my nail technician, but she ended up taking care of my husband which actually worked out because I wanted him to have the best experience possible. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. From the moment my technician started working on me, she was rough. Every movement felt harsh pulling, tugging, and handling my feet with absolutely no gentleness. It wasn't just her technique; her attitude was just as cold. I believe everyone has bad days, but customers shouldn't have to be on the receiving end of them. Then came the polish. She asked me what color I wanted, and I gave her the exact number because I had already picked it out. She couldn't find it, and that's when her frustration became obvious. She started speaking in another language, tossing bottles around on the table, and visibly showing how irritated she was. I looked over at my husband and quietly said, "I don't think she's having a good day because she's been rough with me ever since she started." He began paying closer attention and noticed it too. When she came back, I even asked her, "Are you okay?" She quickly replied, "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay." She applied the first coat, then came back with a completely different polish than the one I requested. I stopped her and politely said, "Excuse me, that's not the color I asked for. Can you please get the one I requested?" Instead of simply correcting the mistake, she stormed off visibly upset. At that point, I had enough. I refused to let someone with that kind of attitude finish my service. I told them I would pay for what had already been done, but I would not be returning. I came in respectful, spent my hard-earned money, and did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Thankfully, my husband had already finished his pedicure and had a much better experience than I did. Somewhere in the middle of all this, we even had margaritas (ha!) which honestly may have given me the courage to stand up for myself because, if you know me, I'm usually the person who stays quiet just to avoid conflict. Not this time. I'm about to be 45, and I've reached a place in life where I refuse to pay people to mistreat me. If you're having a bad day, I truly hope it gets better--but don't (ever) take it out on your customers. Customer service matters just as much as the service you're providing. Sadly, because of this experience, I won't be returning. Respect goes both ways, and my money will be spent where kindness and professionalism are just as important as a good pedicure. I'm out.

I was told that Hoang from Kristine salon is working here so I checked out the new location. The location is convenient and is not hard to find. Shop is under construction but just ignore it , cause your nails n toes will be on fleek! Also 3 weeks and no chips n crack!! Very attentive staff , friendly n outgoing environment.
