I used to be a regular customer but moved farther away. Drove 40 minutes to support the salon, only needing a dip (nails had nothing on them). I arrived at 6:40, with the salon closing at 7 pm. I was told by receptionist that they stop taking clients at 6:30. My service would not have taken more than 25 minutes. I am seriously disappointed as now I have to drive back home, 40 minutes and without having my nails done. Looks like I will now stick with the salon closer to my residence. read more

I came to this salon since I've been here before, not the best but not horrible, except for today. I paid for a manicure and pedicure with regular nail polish as I always get. After the manicure I stayed in the salon waiting for the nail polish to dry then went home. I noticed the day after that the nail polish was coming off and was still not dry. I went back to the salon and I showed them and asked them to fix it. First thing out of the front desk person'a mouth was not an apology it was a NO, we do NOT guarantee our work with nail polish and no we are NOT refunding it or redoing it. I came back to get shellac this time and wanted to pay the difference in prices but they made it such a horrible experience that I will never come back to this business and I will make sure that my friends know about my experience. Any business that is not willing to apologize and back up their services and products should not be in business. Customer service is non existent here. The tech carved out a piece of my nail and covered it with powder. The only reason I didn't have them fix it cause I was in unrelated physical pain. I came in with a Groupon that had expired and wanted to use the amount I paid towards a service (this is how expired Groupons work). David explained I could use the Groupon for a higher end pedicure and he would honor it for the Groupon price, since I wasn't getting a manicure (included on the Groupon). When I check out, he charged me differently. After asking for an explanation, he told me that I misunderstood. I sure did misunderstand and that's because he changed what he had said initially. I have been going here for over a year and they recently have been terrible, they say they can do designs and then mess them up and still charge for them.. I don't think doing lines on a nail is difficult. They also did a refill on my last set of nails and did not do it correctly so water got stuck under the nail and fungus started growing!! I went here with my mom and brother yesterday for their traditional spa pedicures ($30 for 40 minutes). The place is much more lavish looking than your average nail salon (and very clean!) - it feels like you'll actually be pampered. They have a huge selection of primarily OPI and Essie nail polishes. The pedicures were soothing and relaxing, the employees were hospitable (they offer you a free soda or water) and took their time, and my feet looked and felt great afterward. I'm really surprised by these poor reviews. The only reason I'm not giving higher than 3 stars is due to the quality of the paint job on my toenails. Although my pedicurist paid great attention to trimming, shaping, and callus removing, my paint job was not quite as good as I had expected. I come here all the time for just a pedi usually. This time I thought I would be adventurous and get a refill as well. "Curiosity kills the cat" clearly fits this visit to a T. I picked my color which was pink and glittery powder, the nail tech started doing my nails and I realized the color wasn't right but she instited it was the right color...I went along assuming after the gel top coat it would turn it to the color I chose.. once I was finished it wasn't the correct color. I ended up calling the owner after I left telling him i was wasn't pleased and he apologized and said I could go in the next day and get them fixed to the right color. I completely understand sometimes the color is wrongly grabbed. I went the next day to get it fixed- turns out it was the color I asked for but it was aged or something. The owner told me to pick a new color so, I did. That color was out, I chose again, and again until finally a color was able to be used. I love the color and I pleased! Shit happens I get it. I left as a satisfied paying customer. 5 hours later, my thumb nail cracked... Once again I am unhappy. I tend to go somewhere else for my hands because they last almost 3 weeks or longer. I had a great experience at Gossip nails two weeks ago. I went in not sure about what I wanted to get done and they helped me and were patient. Trina did my full set & eyebrows and Mai did my pedicure. The spa is very clean and trendy with a lot of options. I am surprised this place has gotten such low ratings and bad reviews. I have been coming to this salon for almost 2 years now and love the service I get. I always get a traditional pedi for $30. They do the hot towel and give generous foot and leg rubs. The chairs which include a seat massage, are the best I've ever used in a nail salon. The salon is set up with very dim lit and private pedi chairs. They have just about every color of OPI that you would wish for. The nail techs are great and do not talk to each other in their native tongue while doing your nails. I guess if I had to be nit picky and make complaints about this place, it would be that sometimes they try to push the shellac on you and nail paint jobs aren't the best but definitely not bad. I feel so relaxed when I come here and think the prices are great. Not sure why the bad reviews.... love this place. read more

The first few visits I came to this place my experience was enjoyable. I went here after a long day of work expecting a relaxing situation I told the tech I originally wanted a full set w/acrylics because I wanted multi color nails. I even showed her the picture on Pinterest but she refused & argued me down asking me to just do the powder. At this point I just told her alright, I was annoyed she argued w/me not once did I raise my voice to this lady then she kept huffing like she had an attitude. I said so will you be able to do it like the picture, she said only one color. If I didn't have an event the next day I would've told her not to touch my nails. Not to mention as another reviewer said when they do both pedi & nails they do your nails in the chair which is ok, but at least go to the other side of chair to work on other hand they literally pull your other hand to their side instead my arm hurts, ughh . So for powder & pedi $100, just want to to give you an idea of what you pay in price & price for me is not an issue but for my peace of mind & doing what I ask when I pay good money + tips don't argue with your clients & refuse to do work they ask of you. First impression of this place is nice/friendly, relaxing, and clean spa but after my experience this morning, I really think it depends on who you are. My coworkers and I met here for pedicures after a long week of work and we couldn't help but notice that we were organized by color. We called ahead to reserve chairs and our expectation was to all be seated together, I guess that was too much to ask. My boss, another coworker, and I had three empty chairs directly in front of us but we still had to crane our necks to have a conversation with our other coworkers across the salon. We voiced our concerns and asked to be seated together and all they had to say was "we're sorry, we thought more people were coming... this wasn't on purpose". Worse spa pedicure I ever had. I was looking for a new nail salon and thought I'd try this one out. Walking in it was clean and had many nail colors. I was impressed at first. When the technician used a cheese grater on to slough my heels I was afraid. When I was in cosmetology school, I believe we were told not to use these. Anyway, at first I didn't noticed any discomfort but not long after leaving I noticed serious burning. When I got home my foot was raw and today I have ointment on and can barely put weight on one foot. Other than the pain the pedicure looks terrible, my nails are cut strangely. I asked for the deluxe Gossip pedicure, but don't feel that this is what I got. The foot massage was rushed through and not not good at all. Came here a few days ago after being a regular at the original Gossip Nail down the street. I couldn't be more disappointed with the service. The salon is absolutely beautiful, and double the size of the other one! I was so excited about this place, and had fully planned on having my pre wedding party pampering here after the amazing service I received at the other location. I first got a pedicure, brought my own polish (I am having engagement pics done and wanted to be able to touch up if needed!) the nail tech (Tiffany) was extremely rude. I had the "classic dap pedi". I didn't even receive the cooling gel as described in the description. Not only did she lazily do my toes (I'm super picky and often do my own), but she even bumped one as she was putting on my sandal. She went to fix it, and didn't even apply base coat, and quickly put a coat and top coat on it. I really needed a mani and some cuticle cleaning for my pics Saturday, so I though what the heck. HORRIBLE. She pretended to push back my cuticles in a rush, and barely touched them. I had several small hangnails around my cuticle she didn't get. It looked terrible. She put the polish on unevenly, and didn't even get it close to my cuticle, and didn't put the topcoat all around my nail. She was unfriendly, and quite frankly I'm upset I paid for this service when I just went home and redid my mani. I won't be going back, and I definitely won't be having my wedding party here. I'm jealous of all the other people that seemed to be enjoying their time there. I think I just got a bad nail tech (Tiffany) who was clueless, or just plain lazy. read more

I like coming here because it's clean and a little more upscale than the average nail salon. I came today for a spa pedicure and shellac mani before work. I was a little worried I would be cutting it short on time before I had to be at work, but the wonderful nail techs got me out of there with perfect nails in an hour! Yes it is a little pricey, but I'd rather pay a little extra for quality service so I'm ok with that. My pedi and shellac mani came out to $50, and I really don't feel like that's a bad deal. Worst shellac manicure i have ever gotten. Michelle was manicurist and she was really kind, but skills seem to be lacking. It took over an hour and it looks like my nails have already grown out. The polish is not close to cuticles and nails are cut too low on one hand. Polish on other hand seems to be a different shade with little shine. I have been before and had no issues, so when I saw the Groupon for a mani-pedi I was extremely excited. WELL. During my mani-pedi, Hellen spilled acetone all over my $400 purse. She wiped it off and apologized, and it wasn't a huge deal, but I was concerned because it was a new, expensive bag and I love my purse. It is pink leather, and acetone will remove the color of the leather. As I looked at it, the different girls working all came over and tried to convince me nothing was there and that they get nail polish and nail polish remover all over their leather items all of the time and that it was no big deal. Now, I was the only one in the salon, so all of them were sitting around and had nothing to do besides come join in looking at my purse. I asked for a note just to acknowledge that the accident happened there in case I couldn't get my purse cleaned before the color got taken out and you would have thought I asked them to buy me a new one! They were all SO rude. The only one who spoke decent English came over to look and said 'Are you fucking kidding me? There's nothing there.'. At this point I got the acknowledgment, I paid, and I left. I was not expecting to be offered free manicures for life, or a new purse, but for them to be polite about my request would have been nice. got a pedicure here, they rushed through it sooooo fast i couldn't even enjoy it. while the lady was rubbing stuff onto my legs she cut my leg up pretty good with her nail. and then while she was doing my toe nails with the sander she rubbed my skin on one of my toes completely off so bad it was bleeding for a while. after it stopped bleeding she put an alcohol solution around each nail and rubbed it right over my cut. it stung so bad i have no idea why she did it on the cut she just made. i think she only cut me because she was rushing so much. wasted money read more

Upon entering the salon, it was very clean, modern, and organized. The prices for this place is actually quite expensive and it was so quiet in there, that you feel so intimidated to even say a word. It feels like the whole salon would hear you if you're just talking in a normal tone. I know the place is trying to be professional but they need to brighten up the mood and make customers feel more welcome instead of feeling awkward. I just got a gel manicure and it costed $27. Overall the lady that did my nails was very quiet, sweet and tried to make my nails look perfect. The color I chose was a sparkly silver but I thought that it was a white polish with glitter on top, turns out it was just the glitter alone and at first I felt disappointed and I told her that it wasn't as opaque as the color on the model. Since she had already put the color on my nails, I felt bad if she had to remove it and start over so she kindly suggested that she go over it two more times to make it pop! And I'm really glad she suggested it because it definitely made a huge difference! I really liked that she was very sincere and sweet, it made my day that she went out of her way to try an accommodate my needs! My friend next to me had another woman who sort of rushed through the whole painting process for my friend and didn't really let the coat dry enough before applying another coat. She did a great job, I guess it was because my friend got a regular manicure and there was another customer waiting and she just wanted to hurry up and finish with my friend's nails and help the other person. I thought it was very impolite and unprofessional, she came off as pushy and a bit rude. She wasn't mean, just seemed very impatient. However she tried to make conversations with us but for the rushing part, I give this place a 4 star out of 5 depending on the person giving you the service.
