Very nice operation and boat! Very professional and our snorkeling cruise was only 7 people, so it felt like a private charter. It's the longest trip to turtle town and then they do a short sail after our snorkeling. We even saw some spinner dolphins and those are so much fun to see! Thank you Holokai! So glad I picked this place for our Catamaran voyage! There are so many catamaran options to choose from on Yelp and online. Their aesthetically pleasing website attracted me. All the packages are laid out nicely, and high-quality pictures are added. Highly recommend doing this in Hawaii! PACKAGE: We did the Turtle Canyon Snorkel Sail ($95/person) for 2.5 hours. Half of the time is for snorkeling with the turtles; the rest is sailing on the ocean. This package included snorkeling gear, sunscreen, complimentary snacks, motion sickness aid, dry storage, and alcoholic/ non-alcoholic beverages open for purchase. PRE-BOARDING: You need to fill out waivers per person upon arriving online. Super easy and convenient. Then you meet at their headquarters/meet-up spot to walk to the docking spot on the beach. There were about 20-25 other people on the catamaran. EXPERIENCE: We had a blast on the catamaran! It was super chill and relaxing. All of the crew members were helpful and friendly. They took care of one of my buddies who got seasick and couldn't even move. They gave him the seasick aid, but it didn't work. A family on the boat was also seasick, so they tried convincing the crew to go back and drop them off. The captain handled the conflict well overall. Lucky for our friend, he got bailed out and got off the boat with them, haha! When we were in the water, we saw a bunch of turtles and fish in the water. My favorite part was sailing and laying on the netting, where you get splashed! I also bought their cocktail with their souvenir cup! Just a heads up, the mineral-based sunscreen is pretty thick, and the smell stays on you for a while. I wasn't a big fan of it, even though it's better for the reefs. read more

The captain was great to talk to, and Chase the deckhand/bartender did a great job with the drinks and helping with taking pictures. Paying a little extra for the drink package is highly recommended. An unbelievable entertainment value! We did the 3:00pm sail which includes an open bar. The sail was absolutely amazing. You are actually under sail, not motor power, for most of the 90 minute trip. The views views were amazing, the crew was attentive, and the other passengers were polite and friendly. Even if you don't envision ever setting foot on a sailboat, I would definitely recommend this excursion. read more

Great experience. With so many snorkel/turtle watching companies in Honolulu, this is the one to book. We booked a month in advance with immediate confirmation and great communication. We arrived at their store front located near the monkey pod restaurant. Staff was great sold me on some Holokai gear. After a Short walk to the boarding area we boarded our catamaran. The Debbie-downer is the shear traffic you have to contend with. Too bad you cannot find a more isolated spot. I am a realist and I know that with shear number of tourist asking the impossible. The skipper and his crew (Abbey, Chase, Cole) were extremely helpful. For us, we wouldn't go again due to high volume of people in the water. Too bad money the driver as it would be great if each catamaran could have dedicated time slots. Again, I know you are in business to make profit which I understand. Met Jaleen who invited me to this location for a fun event on my Oahu visit. The trip she specifically suggested was a snorkeling expedition out into the ocean. We traveled from the island, jumped into the big blue, and swam amongst sea turtles, dolphins, parrotfish, and more!
