I loved my ice cream. I had salted caramel brownie in a waffle bowl. It was fantastic. You order at the window. I think maybe you only go inside during the winter, so there was not much ambiance, but it was a beautiful day outside! Thank you Chiara for being my server! I appreciate you!

Holy cow the ice cream is really good here! It's a small shop that has some tables and seating inside and a restroom (which was unfortunately unavailable the day I visited). We ordered from the takeout window by the street. There have a good variety of flavors here. Each person gets 2 samples. My favorites were the Ritzy AF (their most popular flavor, it is salted butter cracker with toffee) and Nogged and Loaded (Eggnog with bourbon, biscoff toffee, and salted caramel. The available sizes are small, medium, and large, but you can also order pints of ice cream. The ice cream is very tasty, but very sweet!

God tier ice cream spot. Literally finger licking good. There's always a huge line with locals and tourists alike so that's a good sign. Service was fast and ambiance was nice. What I absolutely hated about coming here is the choice paradox. Every flavor sounded amazing so you are left feeling a huge sense of FOMO for whichever flavor didn't get chosen.

One of the best ice creams I've had! They had so many cool ice cream flavors like Holy Cannoil and pistachio baklava. You can get the ice cream served in a waffle cone which they make fresh on the spot so that when you get it, the waffle cone is still kind of warm. First I bought pints to celebrate my bd with family rather than having a cake. The service is wonderful. Shocking - they do do give tastes of ice cream. I had a taste of a pistachio baklavaa type of ice cream that I shared as it was generous and a friend chose that as his flavor. We all got smalls which are huge. I got mine in a cone, expecting a small cone and instead received a huge waffle cone that was still a bit warm. They wrapped it in paper as it dripped. I chose a flavor based on butter pound cake with a swirl of berry jam through it. It was actually too sweet for me. Yes, I ate it all. My bottom scoop was a s'mores flavor that was nice, but didn't get enough of it. Hubby got the vegan strawberry which was perhaps the best strawberry I've had, it's made with coconut milk rather than cream. He also got blueberry pie which he really enjoyed. There are a few tables to sit at, and we hung out a bit. Parking is tight especially if there is a baseball game across the street which there was on the night we were there. Location is tucked away a bit, so everyone who goes there plans to. On this Friday night, it was very busy. The line at the window was at least 5 deep so we just walked into the store to place our order right away. Check it out. It's great ice cream, really good energy there, too. VERY pricey (one small cup plus one small cone was $15!) but it is an experience, too.

I love ice cream and this place didn't disappoint. I think the Waffle cones were made to order and Vanessa, Chiara, Lilyana and Brianna handled the inside and outside crowds fantastically. Will def return to try more of the inventive flavors next time we are in Gloucester. read more

I've heard great things about this spot and it didn't disappoint! We came here for a post dinner treat and there was no one else in the space which led to quick service and ample seating. They had a good selection of diverse flavors and portions were reasonable as well. I enjoyed the limited Wild Blueberry Pie and would definitely get it again - everything else seemed really tasty as well! God tier ice cream spot. Literally finger licking good. There's always a huge line with locals and tourists alike so that's a good sign. Service was fast and ambiance was nice. Small casual ice cream spot which has its flagship store in Salem. They offer a lot of unique flavors including monthly specials. The staff were very nice and efficient. Any size you get can accommodate at least 2 flavors which was a great perk. March monthly specials were chocolate focused. Definitely yummy and not overly sweet. Wish there had been some more chunks in the flavors I got, but aside from that definitely would come again! read more

Disappointing after seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews! There weren't that many flavors during my visit and a lot of flavors were similar. Nothing sounded that appealing so ended up trying and ultimately choosing the Milk & Cookies. The only reason that flavor is good is because of the chunks of cookie which there was very little of in my cup! It was 90% bland ice cream. They had so many interesting flavors on their paper menu that they were out of; the employees said what they have in stock is unpredictable because it depends on shipments... I took a bite of my partner's selection and very much didn't care for it (Mintsanity). I tried the Ritzy AF on the way out which was actually way tastier than it sounded so I wish I'd gotten that one. read more

Ice cream flavors for six of us were all excellent. Orange cardamom was a combo I had never had before. Creamy and smooth. Server Santana was efficient, friendly, and quick. This place deserves its 'best in the country' ice cream award. We went on a Saturday night in October, and there was a very short line. I can't imagine the lines in the summer. We had their Ritz cracker ice cream, which was amazing, along with a scoop of pumpkin s'mores. Both were excellent. They allow two tastes per person so I also got to taste the pistachio baklava, which people raved about, which I didn't think was very good. I also tasted the mint flavor which I didn't adore. We shared a single waffle cone which they heat, fold, and put a bit of chocolate sauce in the bottom for each order. You can get two different flavors, regardless of which size do you buy. This place is worth a splurge in your diet!! read more

I'm not kidding when I say I think this place has some of the best ice cream in Massachusetts, or even in New England! The quality of the ice cream itself is amazing and the flavors are inventive. My favorite was the cinnamon churro dough flavor, which had little cookie dough type bites. I also had a scoop of the cold brew oreo, which was delicious! Before ordering, the employee at the counter let me try a few flavors, none of which disappointed! The vibes at the ice cream shop are also fun, with a cute theme for the decor. Cute ice cream shop in Gloucester, one of few places open during the winter. There are a few seats and tables, very cozy. Great choice of flavors, 8 or so have won industry awards including the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Servings are generous. Staff is friendly (thank you Rebecca!) and accommodating. read more

The shop is very small, so don't expect to have a lot of seating (we usually do to-go which is just fine). The flavors are plentiful and delicious, as well as the topping selection. A couple of our family favorites include the "perfect storm" which is a slushy combined with vanilla soft serve ice cream and the various chocolate options. We always bring guests by here when in town. Parking can be a little tricky so you need to park on a side street. It feels great to support local so if you are looking for your local ice cream spot, look no further.

They many different flavors and varieties of ice cream to enjoy. Despite the fact that I am a huge mint chocolate chip bitch, something came over me and I decided to order a soft serve twist with chocolate dip, which I enjoyed. GF ordered the butterfinger "flurry". They definitely provided a generous portion but unfortunately GF was not impressed and only ate a few bites, "not worth the calories". Also they are cash only which is quite the inconvenience in 2021.

The restaurant serves fresh New England seafood, dishes made with seasonal and regional produce and meat, and dishes made using their live-fire grill and smoker! No kidding, I wanted everything on this menu. My mom eats vegetarian/mostly vegan, so she ordered two small plates for herself that were veggie-focused. I ordered their smoked monkfish burnt ends (with lemongrass chili crunch and apple & celery root slaw) and their pan seared scallops (with summer mushroom risotto, smoked brisket jam, and sun-dried tomato butter). Both dishes were great. I couldn't eat all of it, but I took the leftover burnt ends home and sliced them up for sandwiches the next two days (made the best sandwiches). The risotto was one of the best I've ever had - absolutely great flavor, but I did wish they'd gotten a little more color/sear on the scallops themselves - but they weren't overcooked, which is the most important part of the cook on a scallop! I really loved my meal. Their wine list was also great, and I had a wonderful glass of Bourgogne Blanc. The service was great - Sabrina was our server, and she was wonderful! This is a popular spot, so you need a reservation if you want to grab dinner here during popular hours. We had a reservation for around 7 on a Saturday night, and a group of two walked in without a reservation and were told they had an opening for walk-ins around 9. We had to wait a bit for our table but otherwise our meal was pretty perfect service-wise. We had a great meal at Oak to Ember. I'd love to return.
