Soju flight (original, mandarin, strawberry. & green grape) & the Matcha lychee mojito Crab rangoon / Pineapple teriyaki chicken wings / Chicken fried rice / Chicken dumplings / Build your own sauce bar / Special sauce made by the staff Ala Carte hotpot (spicy broth + mushroom broth) - bok choy, ramen, corn, potato's , proteins (chicken, ground sirloin, & marinated garlic beef)

POTS 77 Main St, Peabody https://potspeabody.com/dine-in/ Reservation only at the time, use the link above to reserve What an amazing night at POTS in Peabody Square at 77 Main Street! The soft opening was an incredible experience, and I couldn't be more excited to share it with all of you! From the complimentary tea of the month (rose and green tea, so delicious!) to the incredible selection of meats and vegetables, this place has it all! We went with meat option '2B' and the spicy broth, which was definitely SPICY! But absolutely worth it. And let's not forget the sweet & sour wings and pineapple teriyaki wings, which were so fresh and delicious. We also had the spicy pork wontons and crab rangoons, both of which were outstanding! But what really made the experience complete was the outstanding service. Geraldine, our server and bartender, and Allison, the host and resident tea expert, were both so friendly and courteous. And Nathan, the GM, was an absolute professional. All of their knowledge and enthusiasm were truly impressive! POTS will be open to @everyone on Thursday, so make your reservation ASAP! Trust me, you won't want to miss this incredible dining experience!

We had a great time full of yummy food despite never having Hot pot before. We had tons of fun dunking in the different veggies and the complementary tea was very nice. Our waiter Luciano was great and the service overall was very good. We loved the vibes of this place and left happy. It was a bit hard to get used to at first because we keep forgetting to keep track of how long each thing was in but I would definitely come back!

Have tried many of the Korean restaurants in Allston and this, K Restaurant, seems to outrank them all! As for service -- indeed you pay first, but was a bit confused about the server/front desk who pretty much tell you to order before seated (choosing your own table), take your order, serve you with all the food, etc -- literally she handles all the customer service stuff -- wondering why she did not appear at pleasant or smile at all. Don't get me wrong, fully aware of wide range of personalities -- some appear more excited and enthusiastic than others others -- even without the the usual tipping at the end, and especially with the tipping at the end. Here, of course you pay -- and finalize your tip or no time before being served with your food, but still the server did not appear to greet or show those standard pleasantries expected all common in America ... She wasn't rude or anything. It just seems like she's not happy being there. Any event, just some thoughts here. Would definitely be back. And do recommend this place to others who want delicious meal but just note the above.

It seemed like they were having a great time. I entered optimist and excited for the experience. However, our seating server didn't seem very friendly about seating us. Once seated we waited about 30 minutes for others (2 people) to be seated and our orders to be taken. Prior to this we were served our drinks and soup and salad. We received no water until we asked for some. However, the party next to us received water drinks and soup and salad promptly. We found this very interesting. Our chef ‍ is what saved this review from being a one. Our chef was great! Very engaging and attentive. Our server however never returned. Our chef removed our soup and salad bowls, which were then removed by the other parties server. Our food was good, and very filling. We had enough for leftovers. Our visit took an additional left turn when we received the bill. Our total was as expected, until we saw an additional 15% added to the bill by hand. We inquired what the fee was for. We were told it was because the bill was over $100 dollars, and was a tip for the chef. We asked to see this written on the menu. It could not be shown and was removed from our bill. We tipped our chef in cash, and left a small tip for the server. Our chef was the only person that thanked us for coming and wished us a good night. Upon leaving, I almost slipped down, due to the front entry floors being oily, which caused my canes to slip often. My party assisted me, to make sure I didn't fall. Unfortunately, I don't see a return visit, which is sad as it is close to my friend's home.

I would tell anyone that doesn't like incredibly fatty meat, or that likes their food cooked beyond medium rare to dine elsewhere. The hostess was friendly, we told her we had never been to the restaurant before, she quickly walked us thru the menu. Our waiter came by, we told him we had never been there before. We ordered various dishes, and plates of meat were dropped off. No explanation whatsoever. As he turned to leave, I said again, we'd never been there before. No insight into how best/long to cook anything. Every meat dish was incredibly fatty, like, 2/3rds fat. I placed meat on the grill, it cooked very slowly. I asked him to turn up the temperature as we liked our meats cooked well, so he turned the heat up. At one point he said he was going to swap out the grill-pan, and turned the heat down, while meats were still cooking. This was incredibly frustrating, I felt like food was taking forever to cook, and the longer I sat there staring at the meat, the more annoyed I got. It was all you can eat. We didn't finish our first order of 5 dishes we were so annoyed. It was not worth the money, it was an unejoyable experience. I've only been to a few self-cook Korean restaurants previously, and generally liked them. I think the staff needs to be more aware when someone asks for guidance, that they should try to be more engaged. I left angry, and still hungry.

Our server said the place was usually pretty busy and hectic so we definitely were fortunate it wasn't like that when we went. I liked the little bar to grab side dishes - as an AYCE spot, having the ability to get sauces and things like lettuce and bonchon yourself was very nice. The food itself was all right - not the best meat ever, but good for the price and restaurant. The other dishes like the pancake and bibimbop were solid as well - no complaints! We finished the meal off with ice cream as well which you just grab from a mini fridge on the side. Our server was super friendly and nice, she made the experience pleasant and was very attentive. Overall, we had a good time here - the food quality could be better, but for a buffet, it was solid. I wouldn't mind coming back in the future for another AYCE KBBQ experience!
