From the very beginning, the customer service stood out. Liz was at the front when I first walked in. They didn't have anyone available to take me at that moment, but she was so kind and let me know she could do my haircut Saturday at 12 PM. I later checked availability online and booked an appointment with Michelle for Friday at 4:30 PM. Michelle reached out to me almost immediately and explained that her latest appointment was actually at 3 PM. Instead of simply turning me away, she offered to check with the team to see who could accommodate my schedule. She came back and found Jenny available Friday at 4:30 PM. THAT kind of teamwork and communication already made such a great impression on me. Then Jenny reached out before my appointment and asked what I had in mind and whether I had any inspiration pictures. I told her I was looking for a color correction and haircut, and from the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable. Jenny was welcoming, easy to talk to, and very natural. She took the time to understand what I wanted, guided me through everything, and made sure I felt comfortable speaking up about my preferences or any changes I wanted along the way. And then came the unexpected bonus... while washing my hair, Jenny gave me a head, temple, and scalp massage. ‍ Between the color service, the haircut, the massage, and just the overall experience, I felt like I got so much more than I expected. She did my color exactly how I envisioned it, gave me the haircut I wanted, and finished everything with a beautiful blowout. I left feeling AMAZING. What really impressed me was that the team was responsive, accommodating, honest about pricing, and genuinely listened to what I wanted and needed. That is hard to find! Fast forward to today, scheduled an appointment online yesterday for 11am and according to her online availability, she was fully opened all morning. Drove all the way from Monrovia to Yorba Linda and walked in at 10:55am and was told due to a glitch in the system, was told she was behind and asked if I could come back at 12:30pm because she had two other clients ahead of me. A 10-30 mins wait, I would've understood, but an 1.5 hours wait WITH an appointment is straight up unacceptable and the fact that I had both an email AND phone number on file but they failed to provide me with a call was very unprofessional. She asked if I wanted to wait and I obviously couldn't due to the fact that I needed to bring my daughter to her volleyball game in an hour and for her to act surprised I asked to cancel instead of rescheduling is a joke to me. The most outrageous thing was when I looked up behind Kelsea and saw an older, short "hair stylist"looking at me with this smirk on her face. Was it funny that the lack of respect of their customers' time humorous to her? I haven't checked out other reviews yet but since this is the THIRD time from personal experience that they blame overbooking due to a "system glitch" in 12 months, I am starting to think this is possibly how they run their business. I hate having to leave negative reviews for businesses but they've definitely earned the worst experience I've ever had.

I don't really trust anyone, and I am very particular about having my hair done, which I do not do very often. But Nery made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. She was not only very knowledgeable, explaining to me patiently during the process and allowing me to have control over what I would like, but she took great care and detail. My hair was greatly damaged with split ends and color treatments. I have not had my hair professionally done in over a year and a half. But she did not judge me or criticize as other professionals had in the past. She took her time and great care with me, and the end result was simply amazing! I got a long layered haircut with some curtain bangs, and cost me $130. I only complain a little because I'm broke lol but otherwise I suppose it was worth it, because it's one of the better haircuts I've gotten in my life. Also, my hair was extremely long (butt length) but Alice handled it well and was also able to finish the haircut in about an hour. If you are a professional caregiver I would think you would know how to prepare the diapers not to leak. How long was the diaper on before you took her to the salon. My mom has been in here getting her hair colored and cut and it can take a few hours. You are the one who needs to be prepared for any situation. When being a caregiver you need to have patience. You might have your client have someone else take her for her hair appointment. I think you were the one being inconvenienced taking your client to get her hair done. Most elderly women love getting there hair done and talking with the staff. Hope you look inside yourself to see what was happening in your life that day.
