Westsiders has been on my radar for a while, and I'm so glad I finally made it in. The space is super cute, classy yet comfortable. It's the kind of place that works for a night out with the girls or a corporate dinner, and I love a spot that can do both. I truly enjoyed my pasta dish. I'm not even usually into mushrooms, but I definitely was here. The only downside was that the service felt a little slow. It wasn't a particularly busy night, so the pace was a bit surprising. Overall, though, it was a solid experience.

Came here for a group birthday dinner. I liked the Japanese noodle drink and scallops. Mixed reviews at the table with the pasta dishes just being okay. I wasn't overly impressed with the ricotta but i prefer it on the sweeter side

We stopped by Westsiders in Rocky River this past Sunday for brunch, located in the old Boca Taco spot. It's a great place to escape the summer heat -- cool, inviting, and with a laid-back atmosphere. The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and attentive. As for the food, I went with the classic burger and fries, which hit the spot. My wife ordered the granola bowl with fresh fruit, which was light and refreshing -- a nice option for a brunch menu. So we also had some whipped Burrata cheese that was served with toast. Weird combo because as soon as the toast gets brought out, it's cold that eating with cold Burrata. I would maybe choose sub pita and veggies. My wife also thought the Burrata was quite garlicly I liked it. There was a decent selection of items to choose from, and while everything was solid, it felt like we just scratched the surface. This visit gave us a good first impression, but we definitely want to return during regular business hours to get a better feel for what Westsiders has to offer beyond brunch. Right now, it's a nice addition to the area, but I'm curious to see how it will set itself apart from other semi-upscale restaurants like Burntwood, nearby. Looking forward to seeing how it grows.

Oh emmmm geeee. I love this place. This was our first visit and wow. Everything from the drinks, the atmosphere, the service- were spot on. Delicious food. It was cozy in there on a fall night. The drinks are "different " but delicious- my only complaint is that they don't serve their mules in a copper mug which really does matter. I am excited to go again. It was THAT good.

I want to give 5 stars because the playlist and vibes of the restaurant are great, but the food was a bit hit and miss. We started with the meatball app and it was the star or the meal, made me regret not getting a pasta dish as my main because clearly they know Italian. But the ricotta app wasn't as much of a hit, it lacked a little flavor. For mains, my husband got the banh mi and it was huge and the roll alone was divine. I got the burger (it was ok, would get a pasta next time) and my girls got the buttered noodles. Good to note it's not the most kid friendly place, but we made it work! Heads up no high chairs and the only kids item is buttered noodles.

The drinks.... Wowza. Some of the best drinks in Cleveland. There is definitely a reason why westsiders made Cleveland's best new restaurant list. The food has depth, texture and eye appeal. Fantastic place

Great place for a girls night. We went on a Sunday and while we had a reservation, we were one of only four or five tables. Our server was friendly and checked on us an appropriate amount of times. The prices felt slightly higher than they should be. Would go back!

Love the style of this restaurant - the decor, the bar setup, the furniture...it's all very well put together and creates a beautiful upscale vibe especially for a fun boozy brunch on the weekend - highly recommend checking this place out for that! The food was very good and we really enjoyed the flavors - the potatoes accompanying the brunch dishes were delicious!! Our server was super friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the bottle of wine we had as well with our meals. Overall happy we checked this place out and will come back for a date night or to sit at the bar one time soon!

Made a reservation for three Friday night and I would recommend because it was full that night. Nice ambiance with colors of green that pair with the wood well. Seating in the main area is the best location and the booth was quite comfy. They do have some TVs for any major games that may be playing but I also enjoy their cooking shows they play on TV. Carrots and ricotta is a must! I loved the pistachios and the ricotta was so fluffy it didn't even taste like ricotta but more like salty whipped cream. Pork chop was a favorite, perfectly cooked and juicy with the cream sauce being a highlight making it a perfect bite. Cauliflower steak came with excess hummus for those hummus lovers. Pasta was large and not too oily or rich which I appreciated. I love the combination of mushroom and broccolini. Wasn't a huge fan of the stuffed peppers mainly because they weren't what I was expecting. I'm used to large peppers with more meat and this was rhetorical opposite. I wasn't lean more towards an Italian take so the smoky sauce it was in confused me a bit but overall the dish was still good.

Super creative drinks and a delicious burger. The margarita was so interesting and light. Fresh fruity flavors and it could definitely be dangerous. Bartender was super nice and the inside of the restaurant was gorgeous. Tiramisu martini was incredibly inventive and really tasted like it.

Is this a family friendly restaurant? I have two school aged boys.

It's not family unfriendly... We brought an infant and they did not have high chairs... I don't know if that was because they had only opened recently. I would double check the menu to ensure there's something that the kids will eat. But by no means… Read more

Parking can be challenging, there is a very small lot in front with 2 regular spaces and 1 handicap space; plus there are several spots on the street, all of which were full. I ended up parking on the nearby side street by the Burger King. Inside the cafe there are two distinct sides, the right side is set up as a coffee shop with the service counter, some high top tables and some comfortable seating; the left side is set up as a dining area with a bar. The decor is bright and modern with some touches of whimsy, overall very nice and comfortable, the kind of place you can relax and take your time. The menu is set up with a number of categories: breakfast, paninis, salads, wraps, flatbreads, wafflesicles and drinks. Prices are reasonable and there are some interesting items. I had a certificate for $20 so I ordered the Smashed Egg Avocado Bagel, the Bang Bang Shrimp Wrap and a big Chocolate Chip Cookie. The staff was great getting the certificate redeemed and guiding me through the menu. The food came out in a very timely manner, presentation was simple and straightforward. I had plenty of food for a very nice lunch. The egg and avocado bagel was interesting, the bagel was a bit soft for my preference, it was topped with a generous spread of egg and avocado mix plus some fresh spinach leaves. A very nice and healthy breakfast sandwich, a bit milder in flavor then I prefer, but good. The shrimp wrap was a good sized flour wrap around cold cooked shrimp with shredded cabbage and a great spicy sauce that perfectly complimented the wrap. This was excellent, the cool meaty shrimp contrasting with the crunchy cabbage and the zippy creamy sauce. I would highly recommend this if you like a bit of spice. The warm cookie was a great way to finish my lunch, very soft and gooey, packed with high quality chocolate chunks. About the only issue I had with the cookie was that it was hard to eat with just my hands, I ended up using the fork for most of the cookie. Jade Owl Cafe is a great local place to grab some high quality food, pastries and drinks. It is woman and minority owned, very well thought out and executed. The food is fresh and tasty, service was great and the overall experience was just what you could expect from a cafe. If you are in the area give them a try.

(One table was very cold and drafty so watch out hahah) Service was slow; I think maybe only two people were working. There was a giant garage door which will be so nice to have open in nicer weather!! We were also wondering if the mugs will be switched out for glasses when it's iced coffee season! We didn't have kids with us, but noticed some kids toys, a high chair, and changing table in the bathroom available making this place a kid friendly option! Overall, I would definitely come back !

I started my breakfast with some freshly brewed coffee that they kept topping off throughout the morning. I also get some fresh fruit and the strawberries were sooo sweet! Get the fruit, because it's a nice snack while you wait for your meal to come out. For my entrée, I ordered two buttermilk pancakes and a side of eggs scrambled with cheese and the home fries. The pancakes were fluffy and the syrup was nice and thick. I loved how the eggs came out. They were cooked perfectly with cheddar cheese. And the home fries stole my heart. How a restaurant prepares their home fries sets the tone for me anywhere. They were seasoned very well and I could tell that they are a great foundation to the entrees on the house specialties menu. I will be returning to try some of the savory dishes very soon!

The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.

Parma Heights is so far, guys. So so far... So after fangirling over the lush, girly decor and taking ALL the pictures ever, my 5 friends and I ordered at the counter a bougie drink and a plate of food each. There's abundant seating in this two story cafe so we found a table and waited between 5 and 10 minutes for it all to be ready. Despite my goal to stop spending money on beverages, I spent $8 on a regular sized iced decaf carrot cake latte with almond milk. Delicious and definitely instagrammable, but RIP to my money. I regret not taking the lovely glass it was served to me in, but my conscious kicked in and I didn't pilfer it. Haha! For dinner, I originally wanted to get a pizza but changed my mind last minute due to it being 90 degrees outside. So instead, I got an italian panini with a side of potato chips ($14). I don't like mayo so asked that be taken off. The only sauces they have are mayo, hot sauce, and horseradish mayo. I got the horseradish mayo on the side, but didn't really use it. I hope they can add mustard and ketchup to their sauce lineup in the future. All in all, I spent about $24. All 6 of us had very instagramable food and drinks. They looked better than they tasted for the most part. I liked my drink and panini but didn't love it, especially for the price. My friends lavender lemon loaf was gorgeous, but sadly dry. I love the look, like the menu, and wish Cafe Blanc wasn't so outrageously far away! I'd love to get brunch here with my gal pals! I wanna get one of their dessert crepes, please and thank you! We all visited Cafe Blanc for the first time and loved our experience especially the large (free) parking lot. We sat on the 2nd level towards the back. QUICK REVIEW (read this if you don't want to read this whole review): Try the potato pancakes. Great food and service. Slightly more elevated cafe. Busy during peak morning/afternoon hours and most likely less busy in the evenings. I have not been in the evening yet. Free parking lot and free wifi. FOOD - there are lots of food options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have sandwiches, salads, pizza, and pastries. I arrived around 10:20am so I wanted breakfast. I read that the croissants are okay but I haven't tried them. I ordered the potato pancakes, blueberry hibiscus tea (hot) as a dine-in order plus a slice of almond cake as a takeout order. The potato pancakes ($19) was delicious. It comes with 3 thick potato pancakes topped an egg on the center and with bacon bits spread all over. The potato pancakes also come with sour cream on the side which I didn't realize so I moved that to the side of my plate because I don't like or eat sour cream. I would order the potato pancakes again as a savory breakfast item but $19 is a little steep for the price. The blueberry hibiscus tea ($4) was a refreshing drink served on a mug. If you enjoy the combination of white tea leaves, rose hips, natural blueberry, and hibiscus then this tea is for you. I also ordered an almond cake slice ($6) but to go. The almond cake is a light and tasty cake with sliced/shaved almonds on top. SERVICE -- Friendly. Me and one of the shorter female employee had a nice laugh when I went down later in the day to order an almond cake. They started getting busy when I arrived after 10am on a weekday but I was able to walk right up to the front counter to order. The buzzer handed to me buzzed probably within 15-20 mins and I went down to get my order. I believe the tea that I ordered was ready first. Overall, I'll definitely be back. Prices are higher than a traditional cafe. The plus is that there is free wifi so it's a perfect spot to work on your laptop. The tables are big and the chairs are comfortable. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 99/250 total reviews in 2026 - 940 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026
