In every single stage of this process, they went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we were getting the right dog for our daughter... they even gave up a dog they were hoping to keep for the future to make sure it was the right fit. They work with an amazing trainer, their kids love and play with the puppies each day, and you can tell they are all doing this for the love of bringing happiness to families who receive their dog. Plus, after a visit to their home, you can tell their dogs are living life a 5-star lfe... they are so happy, healthy and well behaved. She proceed coming out and doing a very brief physical exam 2 to 4 minutes at 50 bucks . Then proceeded to say the area of injury she had concerns about it being in the joint . Then said she does not irrigate or flush in the field and proceed to do a coding scrub for a few minutes that cost a additional 60 bucks then suggesting going to a vet that had a clinic who who could do proper testing and flushing. I appreciate the input to go somewhere else but feel that if the vet does not treat in the field that should be conveyed up front so the clie t doesn't waste money ect. On top of that she's letting everybody wait in line just to take their name and number and not explaining to them that no vaccines or stool samples can be taken today. What a waste of people's time. You need to be better at showing up when you're expected to or at least let the store know. I called at 9:30 to make sure you were going to be here and they said as far as they knew yes and I drive 30 minutes to get here to find out there's just some employee taking names. Every single person I met was so kind, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my dog. You can tell they do this because they love helping animals and the people who love them. My dog had severe Stage 4 periodontal disease and was in so much pain. He needed a lot of dental work and many extractions. I had been calling vet after vet, but every estimate was far beyond what I could afford. As someone with a limited income, I felt completely helpless. It broke my heart knowing he was suffering while I was desperately trying to figure out how to help him. This clinic gave me hope when I felt like I had run out of options. Not only did they take amazing care of my dog, but their prices made it possible for me to get him the treatment he desperately needed. Even with all of his extractions, the total was less than $600, including antibiotics and pain medication. I honestly couldn't believe it. Because of this clinic, my dog no longer has to live in constant pain. That means more to me than words can ever express. Thank you for giving people like me the chance to care for the pets we love so much without having to go into overwhelming debt. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you do. You truly made a difference in both my dog's life and mine. I will never forget your kindness, and I recommend this clinic with all my heart.

But when it appeared to be growing we decided to look into getting it removed. Our groomer recommended Placerville Animal Surgery for low cost and good results. Results have been fantastic. Our dog was fully recovered immediately after the surgery and hasn't looked back. She is as happy as a new puppy despite being over 8 years old!No problems whatsoever, hair growing back nicely, she runs and jumps and plays as she never did before. We had booked a private tour for his birthday to meet the rescue animals who call this beautiful place home. Yasmin met us at the entrance and, after swapping shoes for some solid boots, gave us a very honest, very real, and very important rundown of industrial agriculture. Now, I have to add, neither of us are vegan or even vegetarian, but Yasmin proved to be an actively non judgmental, compassionate host. She walked us through the grounds, addressing each animal by name, and was full of knowledge and insight! After the initial meet and greet, we were off! We hiked across the beautiful grounds and met tons of sheep (Jet loved my partner!) goats, and pigs; all of the animals roam freely, coming and going as they please. It was actually delightful how so many of the animals came up to say hi and hang out out of their own volition! We brought some grapes for the chickens and they LOVED them! But oh my god, the turkeys. Wow, just, two little friendly, fluffy orbs that floated around our party showing off while Yasmin gave us an informed and empathetic story about them. She did that at every habitat; letting us in, introducing us (by name!) to the boldest of the bunch, and explaining how they ended up at Animal Place. It was an entirely wonderful, enlightening experience. Also, fyi, turkeys are so soft. I cannot recommend this organization enough. 10/10, please give Conrad an extra treat for me!

What sets Sierra Canine apart from other services, is the commitment to what is best for you and your dog. Dennis was open, and agreed with us when we stated our desire to work with our dog individually. He wants to train YOU the owner, so you can have tools to build a strong bond with your dog. He is clearly experienced, tailoring our obedience lessons to the characteristics of our pup and offering insights into WHY our dog is behaving a certain way. This balanced training approach has our cane corso puppy thriving, and provides us with peace of mind that we can keep him safe through verbal commands.
