I can't begin enough to Thank Denise and her team for getting us through a extremely difficult time. My partner was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and brain cancer. The health insurance company was unsympathetic to the fact that she had to suspend her cancer treatments due to the fact that she could no safely go down or up the steps to the 2nd floor residence and denied her an approval for a stair lift. They didn't even consider the fact that she would be stuck on the 2nd floor and could not safely exit even in the event of a fire. Well after months of fighting with the health insurance company a hearing was conducted by an administrative law judge and the judge ordered the health insurance company to approve the stair lift immediately. Once that was done, I promptly received a call from Denise at Home clean Home, she was extremely understanding to the urgent need to get the stair lift installed asap. Within a day or so, Denise sent out one of their workers to measure the stairs and within a few days later had the stair lift installed so that my partner could resume her much needed cancer treatments. Denise, stayed in constant contact with me throughout the whole process and made it a priority to get it done asap. She actually cared about my partners condition and went above and beyond to make sure it was completed in time for my partner to resume her delayed cancer treatments. Recently, I have been in the process of preparing my parents' 97-year-old house, in Queens, to be sold. The house was built in 1920. My parents lived there for 44 years until their deaths, and did not do much to it in the last 20 years as they aged. Cleaning was always "light," and in a 2,600-square-foot house that old, with lots of nooks and crannies, dirt accumulates. In addition, there was a great deal of dust and grit from some interior construction and plastering work that had been done. The 7-person crew from Home Clean Home arrived and, in one day, scrubbed that three-story house, with basement, from top to bottom. They even cleaned up and swept the garage, to my surprise and delight. One of the more experienced men on the team walked through the house with me when they were finished and gave every window sill and door frame the "white glove" test. The place was spotless. The next day, they returned and stripped and waxed the old linoleum tile floors in the dining room, kitchen, and basement, which now look better than they have since Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan dropped in for dinner. HCH's fees were steeper than I had anticipated, but the job they did in the house was first-rate and well worth the expense. They also do clean-outs of houses, garages, and yards, as well as ameliorating hoarding situations. This business came into my home and did not complete the job. I did not realize that right away because I had been traumatized by bugs biting me in my bed and initially felt relief that the problem had been corrected. Signed paperwork that said I was satisfied without inspecting premise other than parameters of the room. Had no idea they had gone into my drawers of jewelry. Valuable jewelry with sentimental value in addition to monetary value, was missing which I found out as I went to put my watch back in jewelry drawer. as soon as they left. Called the company and the police. The company sent back the people who had worked in my house to search for jewelry which they did not find. Worker told me he vacuumed jewelry drawer with loose jewelry in it/ poor judgment or lying !!! Supervisor, Aaron lied to manager about what happened when they came back and the manager has been hostile and indifferent. They do not care, and I am going to pursue a criminal case against them in civil court. Probably will never get adequate compensation for what was taken or my money back. I'm a person who never writes reviews, but these guys deserve credit for the outstanding work they do and for their amazing customer service. Truly. Alex, Konneth, & Eli came from NYC to central CT for two days to do a massive and seemingly impossible job of clearing out boxes and bags of possessions, separating out and organizing the things I wanted to keep handy, and storing / organizing / throwing away the rest. This was a job I'd been putting off for 5 - 6 years due to its overwhelming nature, but as soon as the guys arrived and we started working, it was unbelievable how quickly and smoothly things progressed, how cheerful, pleasant, polite and accommodating the men were, and how utterly painless and almost completely stress-free the process was. They took care of EVERYTHING. Start to finish and top to bottom. And did I mention how kind, patient, friendly, and compassionate they were? I recently employed HCM to clean my 450 sq. ft. studio apartment, which had not be touched for almost 40 years. Eric the site manager came around promptly and gave me a reasonable estimate of time and expense. Due to the peculiar requirements of the Clifton House Cooperative certificates of Insurance delayed the initial start of the project and wasted at least two days of just half day efforts. while they were being acquired, I am a tenant in what is otherwise a coop building. We finally were able to put in 3 good solid days of cleaning and made real progress. It was somewhat of a hoarder situation. The team of workers included Jake, Baby, Yves, Trevor and Kay and they full staffed the first full day and Jake and Baby finished up. They were required to work in Hot and Close conditions even though an air conditioner was delivered and could not be installed for insurance certification issues. They have now finished their job and it is now up to me to organize and put things away. It is a great feeling to get this monkey of my back and and to make sure that I don't accumulate another 40 years of stuff. They've done their job and now it's up to me. I wanted to write a review of Home Clean Home with regards to many years of clutter. They were professional right from the beginning of the transaction. I called and spoke to someone in the office and fifteen minutes later a site manager had called to discuss my situation and set up a time for a free estimate. The site manager assigned to my location called to advise that he would be delayed and confirmed I would still be available a half hour later. He arrived within the time frame he stated and understood our situation and what we were looking for. The day before my service was scheduled the office called to say that they needed to reschedule and asked when we would be available. We scheduled for the following day and they arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. and did not take any breaks (no bathroom or lunch break at all). I contacted this company because I was informed that a few apartments in my building had a bed bug problem. Though it was confirmed that the issues were being addressed, knowing how fast bedbugs spread, I remained ill at ease and sleepless for a few nights. The thought that my brand new, ultra comfortable and expensive mattress could become a free, late night B&B for tiny bloodsuckers just gave me the shivers. After 3 nights tossing & turning with worry I had enough! While I didn't have bedbugs, I at least had to ease my mind and get a certified mattress protector asap! I was so relieved when I found this company. i used them to clean an extremely cluttered dirty apt suffering several years of neglect. They were immediately responsive. Eric managed my case and was always immediately availabile to me via calls and texts, even outside of traditional working hours. Baby and Jamal worked hard the whole time and were gregarious, instantly making me feel confident they would get the job done well, and that i wouldn't feel judged about the condition of the apt. Eric fan interference throughout the day, esp when it became clear that the job sould take a litte longer than originally anticipated. I was thrilled with home clean home services. They did their best. And my home went from a cluttered, mouse and roach infested house, to a clean, organized, home. I had rooms and closets that I couldn't even walk into! Now I have a place I could finally invite people to. And this transformation only took a week! But when I got there they switched it up and said the job is not now, fill out a job application, take our business card and we will call you when the job is available. These guys are the real deal. They came in and cleaned our home within an inch of its life. Our apartment was shockingly clean - so buffed and scrubbed - every, crevice, curtain rod, bath drain, air conditioner, floor, ceiling, every ledge, base board, every crook and crevice in the molding, every light socket, wall, all tile and grout - scalded and scrubbed and disinfected with a 'green' minty cleaner.
