In the meantime, temporary measures have been implemented to hopefully prevent any further damage to units. To those affected, we appreciate your patience and understanding and are working as quickly as possible to get your roof leaks fixed." Original review from several years ago: As Park Row HOA Board Member Jason Day correctly and truthfully stated below, Mission Valley Roofing caused nearly $10K (not $5K) in damages to my condo when their employees were checking for a roof leak and placed a running garden hose down a vent pipe on my roof that leads directly down to my master bathroom, flooding my residence in 2010. They failed to accept any responsibility for their actions. They erroneously claimed a phantom history of repeated plumbing problems (really?, that's news to me and I lived in my condo), not their 'unique' decision of placing a running garden hose in my condo, was the reason for the flood. My insurance company paid my claim in its entirety and found absolutely NO evidence to support a plumbing issue as the cause of the flood. Furthermore, Mission Valley Roofing was not hired for their 'expertise' in plumbing related matters and I challenge Ron to edit his reply and provide a plumbing license contractors number, which I highly doubt exists. Mission Valley Roofing employees also had a history of routinely showing up at my residence unannounced and with no prior appointment in place--often when I was out of town on business trips--and would later claim I refused them access to my residence to service my unit. Who the hell shows up unannounced and without an appointment hoping I would be home, except Mission Valley Roofing??? That, alone, should tell you a great deal about this company. Do you show up to your doctor or dentist without an appointment in place??? My HOA terminated their services shortly after the flood THEY caused at my unit as well as due to other issues they had with this company elsewhere within the complex on other, unrelated work. No surprise here. MORE THAN 7 (S-E-V-E-N) YEARS since this mishap there have been NO plumbing leaks, let alone floods, within my residence of any kind. Based on my experience above, would you trust your home to these guys?... I didn't think so.
