She also kept asking permission to go home and get some things. She was fired within a week. The second aide did not take my mother for her weekly beauty parlor appts., dressed her in dirty clothing, fed her unhealthy food, and ran up her phone bill with international phone calls. The brochure claims that they have aides with valid drivers' licenses. They have very few. I would not recommend this company.

I spoke to this man that works there and he was one of the most disgusting people I have ever had to deal with at a nursing staffing agency. He told me he doesn't have to deal with this bullshit, when asked why they cant keep aid here till my mom gets home and he said to me well i'm not going to pay for it. what are you complaining for he said to me when you get this free and that his tax payments are paying for my moms care, she's on social security. Oh yeah and he called me a snowflake and said what are you going to do about it, when I told him don't talk to me like that. A lot more was said but I wont go into it. Then I tried to explain what was going on to manager her name is Patty and she said " I don't want to hear it or go into this. I heard his side and he is my partner." She told me to go find another agency. She then hung the phone up on me. Now I have no aid for when My mom comes home from rehab center, Shows that Arcadia of Bridgeport only cares about money and not the well being of its patients. I understand its a business, but its a business based on caring for human beings that rely and trust you. I would stay Far Far Far away from this company.

I had questions I thought of after our class and Alice responded right away with amazing descriptions and links to resources. I would recommend training under Alice whole-heartedly. I took the short IV insertion course. Also the office is the perfect clean organized teaching room with all the materials you need, and she has awesome pens she gives you to take home :)

I thought there was not much to learn since I've been working with the Vascular Access Team and a CRNI for many years now. But honestly, I've gained valuable insights from Alice's knowledge and guidance. True, some of her teachings are based on scholarly articles and INS standards on which should be a must. I attended the private lesson after the online course. It was a simulation exercises which gave me better confidence and feel confident on PICC line insertion since midlines are the only longest lines we insert in our facility. I gave her a 4star because I was expecting a bigger class when I attended the simulation exercise.
