I walked into Home Macaron thinking I knew what a good dessert was. I did not. The macarons wow'd me! What I had been eating before were merely suggestions of macarons. Thin, brittle little imposters masquerading as the real thing. These are thick and glorious! The little fruit desserts that looks like a raspberry and coconut are out of this world! Flavorful, soft and just the perfect richness and balance of flavor in every bite. Delicious doesn't cut it, these are dangerously good. I will absolutely be back, probably sooner than I should be, and with zero regrets about it!

Everything here is so pretty and I hear how great they taste so we came to try. All delicious!

Really liked the chocolate shell desserts. It was like a surprise in itself. The macaron was good too; crispy cookie with a good filling inside

Stopped in for a sweet treat after having lunch nearby. Located in a strip mall off of 164th Ave in the Fishers Landing area of Vancouver. There is plenty of parking available. Walked in on a Sunday right after opening. There was a short line that moved pretty quickly. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor is super cute and very pink! I loved it! I ended up ordering four of their gorgeous macarons, including snickers, Dubai, tiramisu, and raspberry. They cost about $5 each, which seems expensive, but these are not your normal macarons. These are exquisite! They're so decadent. My husband thought so as well. Overall a wonderful first visit. We will definitely be back! Would highly recommend!

So cute and delicious. Stopped in for the first time, and will be back. Got a few things, the mango mousse and the raspberry mousse are both wonderful ($10.50 each), the shell takes some getting used to for me, as I'm not a hard-shell lady, but the presentation and the flavor is not too sweet and very fresh. For macarons, got the strawberry (last one left), a chocolate and one that I can't recall the name, but all great, and very big ($4.50 each). Nice to have this addition to the shopping center, and also looks like they offer some savory food as well. I will be back for that.

There's a lot to like about this cute macaron spot in Vancouver! The decor is very fun and vibey, service was great, and the flavors and cake design are definitely outstanding. We tried the tripe chocolate mousse cake, snickers macaron, and caramel cheesecake macaron. Unfortunately the mousse cake has so much gelatin that it's an unpleasant texture, but the flavor is there. The fact that the cake base is not sickly sweet compliments the flavor of the mousse. The macaron flavors and approach are definitely inventive. I think the ones we chose strayed a bit too away from a macaron and was a bit much, so I'd love to come back and try their other more straightforward flavors. All in all a great addition to the Vancouver area and I'm eager to see how it evolves over time!

As beautiful as it looks, the taste and texture were off and we didn't enjoy the cake. We barely ate 1/2 between three of us sharing.

Outstanding attention to detail on the design and taste of the macarons. I'm not a fan of macarons but my kids are so we came in for a special treat. I had the Dubai macaron and it was delicious. My son had the snicker and that was also yummy. We also tried a piece of cake to share and that was unfortunately disappointing. The flavor was not their but also the texture of the cake was so thick that is was difficult to chew. We ate maybe 1/2 the slice and tossed it. There was a short line and perhaps to hasten the wait, they can have both displays carry the same items so guests aren't having to look back and forth to see the difference. They also have coffee which I'd try next time we're there. Price is high, about $5+ per macaron but you can tell these are one of a kind. Indoor seating.

More desserts, macarons and the cup with minis

We had to try these viral treats! Everything is beautiful from the outside in! We were greeted when we walked in the door, this was our first visit but not our last! We will go back! This was a 35 minute drive for us. Every single item in their refrigerated case was gorgeous and everything looked delicious, it was so hard to choose what to get for my teen daughter and I. We bought two macarons and a sample cup to share. They had a lot of gluten free options which is always a plus. Most of the large desserts are $10 each so the sample cup which is $30 and has most of their viral crunch desserts in mini size was perfect! Such a fun experience and perfect for a treat

Originally wanted to go here on my bday, well mother nature had other plans & decided she was gonna snow. It's ok though because I made it in the next day, which so happened to Valentine's Day. The shop was super cute & decorated for the occasion. So many options from macarons, to chocolates, to strawberries & more. Made it extremely difficult for us to pick. Being that macaron was in their shop name, we went with that, the 12 piece box so we could try them all because why not. We drove 20 minutes just to try this place. We were also told we say a few dollars if we get the box. The dubai chocolate was the item that initially drew us in here in first place as it has recently been trending on social media. We didn't want to commit to a huge one, but luckily there were smaller sizes. So we got the heart shape one. Before eating, we decided to thaw it a little, so it wouldn't be hard from fridge. Wow, these macarons. More on the bougie side filling wise, not just your typical macaron. Yes, the pricing is a bit high, but once you try you will understand. We've tried 4 so far & they all have been good. But the big surprise of the day was the dubai chocolate. Wasn't really sure what to expect as all I knew about it was that there was pistachio in it. This was nothing like I ever tasted before. A very subtle pistachio flavor, crispy pastry type thing in it, with chocolate. For the size of this thing is was on higher side, but if you google dubai chocolate it's not cheap. Most likely for what's in those things. All that ran us about $80, but hey definitely worth the 20 minute drive. You gotta at least go try it. Everyone working there was so nice & helpful. We'll be back.

Really impressed with the beautiful desserts in the cases, some were so pretty I felt like they were too beautiful to eat! The young ladies behind the counter were very friendly and nice, helped us and answered all our questions. My friends ordered coffee as well. We will have to come back and try more sweets again soon but the hazelnut treats are my favorite so far! The pink cafe is so beautiful!

So many tasty treats. We tried several items including mousse cake, trompe-l'oeil dessert, macarons and Dubai chocolate. My favorite was the Dubai milk chocolate bar and the tromp (pear that had mousse and passion fruit).

My family and I were at the Pho restaurant next door when we saw Home Macaron as we pulled up. The store has a cute feminine ambiance and the individuals working were very helpful and friendly. The kids loved the reindeer macaron and the coffee one was tasty as well. Their truffles are all delicious! If you are a truffle fiend I'd highly recommend checking them out!

This time, we arrived around 9A and were seated approximately 30 minutes later in the very well-heated patio area. Our server was welcoming and returned quickly for our drink order. I chose an oat-milk chai and was not disappointed. For a restaurant presented as a French bistro, I was surprised that there wasn't a single quiche on the menu. I almost ordered the BLT, but I wanted to try something different, so I chose the west coast salmon benedict with provençal potatoes and butternut squash. The hollandaise was tasty, but the benedict itself was mixed for me. It was served on a sliced croissant, which sounded appealing but wasn't sturdy enough for the toppings and quickly became soggy. Thankfully, I had removed the top half and eaten it separately. I was also expecting the thin slices of smoked salmon you might find on a bagel, but instead received a salmon fillet whose smoked flavor was barely noticeable -- perhaps the Hollandaise overwhelmed it. The butternut squash was delicious and outshined the potatoes by several miles. I wish I had asked for an entire side of squash bc some of the potatoes tasted stale, much like McDonald's fries that have been sitting around for a few hours. My daughter ordered the risotto cakes and eggs, which also made me question the "French bistro" identity, since risotto is Italian. SIL had the corned beef hash. Hubby ordered the chef's omelet with a side of bacon. And the grandbabies had pancakes, bacon, and eggs. My family makes it very obvious when food is delicious: lots of nodding, happy sighs, "You need to try this," or completely cleaned plates. Breakfast did not produce any of that. As our server was preparing to close out the tab, we asked for the dessert menu so we can sing happy birthday to one of our grandbabies. We ordered the Versailles cake and a pavlova. The Versailles was the definite winner. Suddenly, there were the yum sounds and the "You need to try this" comments. We all agreed that its light texture and coffee chocolate flavor were wonderfully similar to our beloved cappuccino mousse cake from Schubert's Bakery SF. It wasn't overly sweet, and the velvety dark-chocolate ganache was delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I went home and immediately searched for a Versailles cake recipe, only to discover that "Versailles" apparently isn't an established French dessert, but La Provence's name for its chocolate sponge layered with vanilla, coffee, and dark chocolate mousses. The pavlova was enjoyable, but it inspired nowhere near the enthusiasm of the Versailles. Between the polenta, risotto, pesto, burrata, mascarpone, tiramisu, avocado toast, corned beef hash, Benedicts, and conspicuous absence of quiche, I left wondering how much of the actual menu is French. There are certainly French ingredients, sauces, pastries, and techniques, but the overall experience felt more like a Pacific Northwest brunch café with French and Italian influences than a true French bistro. Would I return when visiting our daughter and her family? Not on my own accord. If the family chose it, I would definitely go, but I would adjust my expectations and not think of it as a French bistro, order an oat chai, request extra butternut squash, and save plenty of room for the Versailles.

When she finally decided to assist us, her attitude was condescending and rude. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that I felt racially profiled when I simply asked how much a slice of strawberry shortcake cost. After telling me the price, she immediately questioned whether I could afford it or if I still wanted it, which I found insulting and inappropriate. To make matters worse, the slice of cake was not worth the $9 price tag. Between the poor service, disrespectful treatment, and disappointing product, I have no intention of returning. There are plenty of bakeries that treat their customers with courtesy and respect--this is not one of them.

The portions of everything are very generous. Sandwiches and avocado toast are definitely enough to share or take home for a second meal. We shared a lemon crepe which had what tasted like house made lemon curd inside of it. It was dusted with powdered sugar and created a delicious flavor. Crepe was perfectly prepared. I ordered the avocado toast which was twice the size of what I expected and could eat, so it made a very nice lunch later. The avocado is a spread as opposed to sliced; although I prefer sliced, this was actually pretty tasty. This also came with a fried egg on both of the pieces of toast and thinly sliced radishes, flat leaf parsley, sesame seed, and a generous amount of pickled red onion which I adore. The bread is a lovely European multigrain. Underneath the toast, I found a beautiful fresh green salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and tomatoes, and all in all this was the perfect dish. My dining companion chose the turkey sandwich, and this two was a very large sandwich. It looked really great and had a lot of turkey on it, so much that it looked like fresh turkey as opposed to a deli meat, but I'm really not sure. For some reason, she didn't especially care for her sandwich; may have been a little too much pesto on it for her likes, but I thought it looked wonderful and also came with a salad. I had a drip coffee, for which I was told I could get refills for free, and my companion had a latte. Both were very good. I would like to come back sometime and purchase some of their desserts as they all looked absolutely amazing.

We were seated quickly -- it was a nice day, so we sat in their lovely outdoor dining area. They brought us room temperature waters (not a fan), and took our drink orders rather quickly. Service was good throughout our visit. I ordered the IPA Bacon Cheeseburger, which came (over)loaded with lots of fresh vegetables, a large burger patty, and the IPA mustard sauce. I don't want to complain about a burger being piled high with bacon, pickles, and fresh onions, lettuce, & tomatoes; but it was difficult to eat. While the Challah bun was delicious, it was woefully undersized for the task of holding it all together. I enjoyed it, but felt the IPA sauce was lost in the midst of everything else, and I also thought the burger patty was under-seasoned. I ordered fries as a side, and unfortunately they were the "battered" variety, which I just don't enjoy. Restaurants -- please, just serve normal French fries, without any batter on them! We knew from past experience that baked goods and desserts are really what La Provence is good at, so we ordered Tiramisu for dessert. Their very non-traditional take on this Italian classic would probably some people uneasy, but it was delicious. It had a dense chocolate cake base, with a thick layer of mascarpone mousse on top of that, then a topping of thin, crunchy, chocolate hazelnut ganache. Not too sweet, with a variety of textures to enjoy. We would definitely come back again, but I'd get something other than burger and fries.
