Delicious coffee
Jacque C.

Love this Bakery!! It's my Favorite- we recently moved back to Washington after residing in Arizona for 20 years. This little gem reminds me of a favorite there- so many delicious treats it's difficult to choose. Love the maple goodies that make a maple bar hold its head in shame. The sugar cookies are so tasty!! I love the hash bake and the cinnamon rolls are awesome inspiring! My favorite is the bacon and Brie crostini!!

Stopped in with a friend for breakfast on a Wednesday morning around 9am. No line and only a handful of tables occupied. Based on other reviews, we came at the perfect time! Employees were friendly and helpful. In addition to breakfast, we purchase a few baked goods to take home. I ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich on an Everything bagel with chive cream cheese and bacon. It was delicious! My friend enjoyed hers as well. The restaurant was clean and I really like how they have different table areas. I think it helps cut down on the noise when it's super busy. Parking can be challenging since it's street parking. Overall a great first visit! I'm looking forward to bringing my husband next time and trying one of their quiches and ricotta hashbrown bake. Would highly recommend!

Extensive selection of delicious, beautiful pastries. Strong coffee. The ricotta hashbrown bake was SO tasty, full of flavor. Fast, friendly service. Very cute setup, plenty of seating. Kid friendly! This is a great spot.

Seems like a really good bakery. All the wonderful bakery items like scones, cinnamon rolls and bagels in the window is so tempting. I got another 1/2 order (which is one biscuit and a little bit of gravy). This is my second time here and I pretty much got the same thing except last time I think I got a full order of biscuits and gravy. So when I mean that they give you a little bit of gravy, I mean just that. I barely got enough to cover my cut in half biscuit. This happened to me the first time I went there. I do not understand why they can't give you more gravy with biscuits and gravy.. I think they think it might be gold or something. It would be really nice to at least have enough gravy to have with each bite of your biscuit but that was not the case today or even the first time I went there a couple months ago. Oh well. The gravy is really nothing to brag about. It's a sausage gravy with really no taste to it at all. I will think twice before I order that again from there. But maybe next time I will try one of those huge and what looks very delicious cinnamon rolls.

Al and Ernie's is easily the best coffee shop around town. They have mouth watering pastries, delicious breakfast and lunch options, and there's something different and delightful about their coffee. It's just so smooth! Staff and service are great, they're always packed, so plan to wait a bit for a table if you go on a weekend. Overall, this place delivers quality service, fantastic products, and is cozy warm cafe!

Highly recommend this bakery in Battle Ground. An amazing assortment of pastries, breakfast, and lunch items. Large portions as well. The hash brown bake was loaded with ham, ricotta, peppers, and onions. The Americano was perfect. Busy so be prepared for a line, but it's worth it. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating as well. A little on the loud side for this large open space but the aesthetic is gorgeous. I will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I am not a local I am from Boston and I spend a month out in battleground every summer. This past summer, I finally got to try. Al & Ernie's bakery Café. And all I can say is this place is absolutely divine and fantastic. The atmosphere is like no other everyone that works there is beyond friendly and helpful when it comes to trying to decide which of their many delicious treats to get. Their coffees are amazing. And their food is above and beyond. I had a pistachio croissant, which was so airy light in that delicious creamy pistachio filling was just the right balance, I also tried their strawberry cream croissant, and that reminded me of a strawberry shortcake, their regular chocolate croissants are also a must try if you like chocolate and finally, I had tried their pesto pasta salad after trying that I think I went back about seven or eight times just to get that the pasta almost taste like it was homemade and fresh. The pesto was out of this world and all the lettuce and tomatoes you could tell were freshly picked or freshly bought. I cannot recommend this place enough. I know when I go back next summer I will pretty much be living in there so I can try one of every single item they have because it is that good. The quality is just perfection.

Checked out Al & Ernie's for the first time and I should have sooner. From fresh bread & cinnamon rolls to quiche, you can find it all here. The menu is stacked with options for the entire family and you will feel right at home. This is by far one of the best bakeries I've been to since living in Battleground.

You know how when you see something, your brain already fills in what you think it's going to taste like? Everything here has always exceeded my brain's expectations. Which means that everything I have ever eaten or drank here has been better than I imagined. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Always. The espresso is pulled perfectly and I just keep thinking to myself that we are so lucky to have this little gem in our area. The people who work here are so friendly. You can see how busy it is. You can see the line is long and the work is unrelenting, but each and every person on staff gives you all of their attention and it makes it worth the wait. I have been here several times and every time I hear the people around me commenting about the vibe of Al & Ernie's being so on point. It's hip, but down to earth. It's small town, but big-time quality. It's new, but it's full of history. It's busy, but the owner will stop by your table for a chat. You're getting quality at Al & Ernie's.

So far the latte is awesome! got the chocolate chip cookie, excited to come at lunch to try their food! update: the lattes and soups were only what i liked i dont like the sandwhiches i usually prefer like a cheddar cheese and all and a tomato soup is a must for the soup but you only get the daily soup.. service wa kind and nice great atmosphere! :)

Man. Man . Man. I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is amazing. Huge spacing that can be used as family gathering as well as work space. The pastries... omg.. all amazing. It's all made in here and you can tell. The taste is very authentic and homemade. Staff here.. always amazing. I know everyday isn't a good day but everyday I've been here they have been having a good day it seems. Seems like I found a place that I absolutely love to support as they support my taste buds :) Again everything here is amazing.!

Food is good; however long lines and seating is hard to find. Atmosphere is very loud and parking can be difficult.

The restaurant was still open for another 10 minutes. When I worked at a restaurant if people came in five minutes before we closed, they still got to eat their food there. Not good service. Also, my strawberry banana and Nutella crêpe had no strawberries, yet I got charged for them. Ambiance was brushed & unwelcoming.

Unbiased this is the worst crêpe and worst coffee I've bought out of six different states. That…read moredoesn't mean that it's the worst coffee out of the six days because I haven't went everywhere. The crêpe has leftover flavor of other savory crêpes and I have a sweet crêpe which means the cooking surface isn't sanitized properly. crepe really just isn't good. Customer service is Shady, but it is a cute place inside. The coffee I would give a three out of 10. Very hard to excuse why a caramel frappe has no caramel in it Coffee also just doesn't have any boldness to it. The crêpe gets a -2 out of 10. Hands-down, the worst crêpe I've ever had and the only thing that saves. It is the Nutella.. The batter isn't tasty. Maybe you would like this place but as for me we won't be back.
