The fence looks new, and I'm looking forward to preserving the fence as long as possible and following Lifetime's recommended maintenance schedule. He stands behind his product, whether it be a defect in materials or workmanship. 3/3/21: I wanted to replace my 6 foot, side by side wooden fence with an 8 foot board on board fence. One portion of my fence was ten years old, and another portion was five years old. I was looking for greater privacy from prying eyes, security, and to add value to my home. I spend a lot of time in the back yard, so I wanted to have greater enjoyment. I consulted with two other companies, before I went with Lifetime Fence. I met with Brian, we went over a few options, looked at other fences in the alley, and his proposal made the most sense. I did not feel pressured to commit, and didn't sense any high pressure sales tactics. Everything was above board. Their warranty provides peace of mind. I put 50% down, and Jimmy, the owner, called me right after the snow storm to set up an install date. Brian came by that morning, and we did a walk through with Adrian and Hernan. I was going to be home during the install to answer any questions and/or address any concerns. The first day, they took down the old fence and posts, installed the new poles, rails and trim. The next day, they made some leveling adjustments before installing the pickets, and the rest of the trim. I really like my new fence, and am looking forward to enjoying my backyard for many years to come. I feel that I achieved my objectives with this fence. My only knock is the contractor for the gutters doubled the cost that Mark originally quoted to me, however this could have been because I waited to see what the cover would look like.

Our fence on the roadside (house at the corner) has been having issues with warped/broken pickets…read morewhich needed fixing every few weeks. We used other fence companies which did quick fixes but the problem started happening again after few weeks. We wanted to solve this issue once and not deal with the fence for few years. Zach looked the fence and he found that the fence has no ground runner and that makes the fence pickets sit on the ground and become warped then pullout and break. Meaning the pickets will continue to brake and continue to need frequent repairs. Zach has given couple of options (first option is to repair the broken pickets, second option is to install new treated runner to keep the pickets off ground, new pickets and paint). We went with the second option. The poles were still in good condition, just needed an extra pole at the corner. From the beginning he has been very prompt in giving quotes, responding to questions, arriving to work on time and the finish the work on time. Prices are also reasonable. He also used pictures to convey problems and suggest solutions (this helped a lot as live out of town). The fence turned out be excellent and I am happy to recommend him to my friends in the area.

We needed the fence in our backyard on the side we shared with our neighbor replaced. Since our neighbor had replaced a portion of the fence with a reddish cedar wood Zach found the exact type of wood to match that section and did a fantastic job on the entire fence. We had a lot of work done on our house recently including new deck in the backyard, a new roof and this fence project. I can easily say that Zach's work was the best of all the projects.

The company was a pleasure to deal with. - The estimate was clear, and included all the specifications and alternatives we'd discussed (not true of competing bids). - Communication on scheduling and questions was very good. - The quality of the construction is excellent. A few minor issues were identified during a post-completion walk-through, and quickly resolved. - Some problems emerged with the staining, done by a subcontractor, but they were resolved professionally. Really an outstanding company, and a good choice to minimize the trauma that a construction project often involves.

What was supposed to be a few days worth of work turned into 6 weeks. We had to have them come out multiple times to fix the work. In October of this year I contacted Jay to fix the trim that had come off in a storm. I was told they don't do siding anymore and the warranty doesn't cover winds of 88+ mph (which we didn't have). After a few email exchanges, they have not gotten back to me. We now have gone through insurance to have the trim replaced. At the time of the original work, I gave them a break and did not plaster this all over social media. A mistake I won't make again when I've been taken.
