We recently went here as a large family group and I seriously can't remember a better evening together! Great menu/food and drinks, very friendly and attentive service, laid-back and very fun vibe, AND everyone in our group had a blast batting, from kids to grandparents! It's a fabulous concept that seems really great for either families or even an "adult only" group. DO NOT GO! Don't even mind the OUTRAGEOUS prices. 4 of the 6 vehicles we drove there were broken into. Their cameras don't work and they claim they were "struck by lightning ". They told us they have been open for 15 days and 10 days out of that there have been break ins. They have NO SECURITY. I could go on and on but moral of the story save yourself the headache of having to buy a new window and just stay out of the Katy area. Even police said the whole Katy Asian town has been awful with break ins. read more

I can confidently say Home Run Dugout is one of the coolest places in houston for food and drinks - plus an unreal batting bay setup and whiffle ball setup. The batting bays are like golf simulators except with a baseball bat and the ball comes up from the ground. I loved it, my wife loved it, and we played some side betting games with my buddies. We played some home run derby on the whiffle ball field and got some good food and drinks after. Their burgers and chicken wings were amazing with great selection of drinks and beers as well. The atmosphere at Home Run Dugout is also fantastic. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience. Highly impressed with the service! Overall, I cannot recommend Home Run Dugout enough! If you're looking for a fun, unique, and delicious experience, then look no further. They kick you out to accommodate imaginary clients. They forced us to vacate our bay because there was an incoming reservation. We saw numerous empty bays and waited to see if anyone would show. Guess what!? No one showed so we got kicked out for no apparent reason. They are full of fake reviews on google falsifying a positive experience. Make sure to count the number of reviews with people being kicked out before being ready to leave. If I was the owner of this business I'd be highly concerned as my staff would probably put me out of business pretty quickly. They are literally burning paying customers. No one associated to me will ever visit this place. I encourage everyone to find alternatives if you don't want to be embarrassed in front of friends or family. read more

What a fun venue to go to with friends, family, coworkers, etc. The virtual batting cages are fun for all ability levels and makes you feel you're actually in a MLB park! The food was delicious! I loved the dry rub wings, the flatbread pizza, and the brownie ice cream dessert! The salads looked really good too! Band playing added fun to atmosphere. People were playing kickball with their kids on the wiffle ball field. Would be fun to bring a group and have an actual game! Our wait staff were all so friendly and efficient. The customer service was really good, I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza it's delicious along with the nachos, it's a very cool place to hang with family and have fun , perfect for birthdays etc, I highly recommend! Everything is delicious and I recommend the onion rings as well, the fries were crispy and the onion rings were the perfect among of crispy, loved how the breading didn't fall off when I bit into it, highly recommend, amazing place, amazing owners, not sure what her name was but the lady with the blue hair was very nice, the GM came and talked to us he was very nice and welcoming! This place is terrible in every way. They also play music so loud it can be heard thumping miles away in surrounding neighborhoods, late into the night, keeping all of us from sleep. We will call the police every night, every hour, until you stop disturbing the peace and violating our rights. And we will bring lawsuits if that isn't enough. read more

Two stars for our server who was very attentive and kept the fountain drink refills coming! We didn't have any food because the Bay was expensive enough. I was disappointed that we had to wait outside in 100 degree weather because we were early for our reservation. I wouldn't have tried to start our game early but would've appreciated better customer service and been able to stand inside in the AC until it was our time. Then.. the host explained really quickly how the game works but didn't mention that you'll need to retype everyone's names if you choose to change the game. It takes way too long to type everyone's names with one finger. Not to mention the timer is running! Then.. the simulator didn't work properly. The hits weren't being analyzed so none of my son's hits were counting. Then.. the ball shoots up really low making it hard to hit unless your 3 feet tall! All in all.. Went here as part of a team building event. The baseball activity was fun and the food was decent but way overpriced. The reason for the poor review is six of our vehicles got broken into(middle of the day). If you look at other reviews this has been on ongoing issue and nothing has been done for security.The front desk is outside and in view of the parking lot and no one was alerted when the glass breaking started. With the price of bay rentals and food prices they could definitely afford to either hire a security guard or a monitored camera system. Until they do I would not recommend going here. read more
