Traditional style donuts with the classic taste I remember
Shannon M.

The service and donuts are good. It's a typical donut spot with coffee, croissant sandwiches, and quick on the go options. The donuts taste good and have the classic taste I remember from childhood. They're open 24/7 so go and get your donut fix.

So I saw a review that mentioned the TOO GOOD TO GO App. For another location. I Never heard of this app. So I checked it out. There's several places that offer yesterday's baked goods at a discount on there so they don't t go to waste. I downloaded the app and checked out what's in the area. Then I checked reviews on Yelp. This home style donuts seemed to have good reviews so I ordered a SURPRISE BAG via the TOO GOOD TO GO app. Got there. Mamá said swipe right ;) so I did. She pulled a donut box and on she went to the back to fill it. She came out and handed me a box filled to the brim. I was worried about getting stale donuts or something. Not at all. I got a box filled with delicious and assorted donuts. From plain to fancy. I got my favorite and Apple fritter and a chocolate buttermilk! What are the odds. Plus all sorts of good. Chocolate, glazed, cinnamon rolls, chocolate and maple bars. OMG!!! Way too much for us. Split it in half and my son took half to his friend's family a couple houses over. Honestly, if I didn't know they were day old donuts, I would not be able to tell any difference. Great finds. Great value. Best $5 bucks I ever spent in my life!!!! Ha ha! Prob not. But great deal. Mamá was nice and friendly and hooked it up.

Ham and cheese croissant

My husband is always getting us donuts, croissants along with Thai tea and ice coffee from here. I love the ice coffee from here, I would take it over Starbucks any day. It is just more convenient going through a drive thru. The croissants are tasty along with the donuts, you can taste the freshness in everything. The owner is so nice and she's always smiling, just a very friendly person overall. FYI cash only accepted in the evening until 5:30 a.m. sometimes 6:30 a.m. per the gentleman that was working.

Milk must of been expired or something. Not only that , the person making it did not have the best customer service. Would not recommend.

The Customer service and quality of food sold could improve . Milk was expired . I believe they should check their products before serving .

So I posted a picture that unknowingly showed the filth in this place. I notice it after I snapped pic! Shame on me for not Yelping around first because there is a lit up spot a couple doors down, I wish I would of went there instead. These Yelp reviews really make me question my great fellow Yelpers. Maybe because lady and young man seem so nice so we get blinded by kindness.. But damn it's dirty in here. I eat at tacos trucks on random corners sometimes near dark alleys so I ain't too picky.. But again damnnn it's dirty.. unacceptable! Heavy flow of lotto players Regular smegular donuts Vanilla didn't mesh well with rootbeer. Please wipe down that cat in the corner.. Yelp review challenge 19/100

Fresh donuts and a smile, every day.

Get lucky or get a sweet treat. Either way your a winner at Home Style Donuts. On the corner of Pioneer and Firestone. My favorites are the Hot Chocolate withe whip cream and the bacon, egg and cheese crescent sandwiches.

Their breakfast sandwiches are sooo good and big!!

Best breakfast sandwiches ever!!! This donut shop is open 24hrs, so you can get your fix 24/7/365!!! Huge variety of the classics and everyone is going crazy over blueberry donut with a glaze. Huge muffins, cookies and bagels too. Wide variety of canned, bottled and (some) fountain drinks. They also have ice cream and can make banana splits and sundaes. Plus, for your gambling fix, scratchers and lottery tickets are available. Someone won $100 with a scratcher while we were there. My parents live in San Diego and always want to go here when they visit and even my son LOVES the breakfast croissant sandwich (egg, cheese and ham...lightly warmed); melty goodness!!!!

Best thai tea in the city! This donut shop has awesome service and winning lotto tickets. Do your self a favor and head down here!

If you are looking for a unique experience stop by Cravings Ice Cream! The menu is fun and I have…read morenot seen anything like their options before. The ice cream was a 5/5 for me, the toppings, and waffles combined well giving a crunch to the soft ice cream. Free parking is available but limited, and they have outdoor seating with a v for entertainment. I was joyed to see the international snacks available for purchase! I had to buy some oreos. Another perk was the eatery nextdoor!

Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

Finally!! I have heard so much and have craved Halo Halo…read more Pretty busy on a Friday mid afternoon. Lots of food traffic with majority of customers coming for Halo Halo or drinks. The mini Upside Down Halo Halo was the perfect size and wasn't like a mini at all lol. Had a taste of brown sugar, included boba, jellies, scoop of ice cream, the Corn Flakes, flan. The cupcakes still taste good after 2 days. Texture and taste didn't change at all. Milo Cupcake: Buttercream reminded me of Milo on point. Ube Leche Flan Cupcake: Omg the taste of the Ube was Soo good and still moist. The flan on top made it extra yummy.

The place is small but cozy and they have a giant couch in the middle for lounging. The price is high compare to other places, with the exception of their daily special tea. Their tea is actually cheap. I love love the jasmine calamonsi tea, so refreshing for $3. The halo halo was overwhelmed with ice cream, need more of other ingredients. The monster oreo shake was delicious but it is not worth it for that price. The ube flan cupcake was just ube cupcake and flan stack on top. It kinds of lacking the cohesiveness. Overall, I would come back just for that tea.
