This gentleman was left alone in a listing of mine by the buyers agent and buyer (silly move on…read moretheir part), when I went to check on the home after the inspection he had created quite the mess. Covers for AC vents needed to be replaced, hardwood flooring needed to be restained in certain areas ( to conceal scratches in the flooring), wires were pulled out of walls and left on the floor, and after inspecting shower fixtures he failed to screw them back on completely. He even went as far as to remove shower rods & other staging props, and failed to put them back in place once complete. When he came back for day 2 of the inspection and I asked him about various items he had damaged/ left in disarray -he really had nothing to say, just a shoulder shrug. I've worked with plenty of home inspectors without an issue but this one was a nightmare. Moving forward I will require all buyers agents inform us of their home inspector choice prior to contract ratification, if this company is noted we will inform the buyers/buyers agent he is not allowed on any property listed by us. As a buyer if you plan on using his services I would suggest you not leave him unattended at the property, ensure that he does not case damage to the property; you will be responsible for paying for any and all damages once the inspection is complete. If you're a listing agent reading this, I would suggest you attend the home inspection to ensure he follows guidelines set by his board ( or maybe not allow him on your clients property). I've attached a few photos of the damage but there was far more I have not detailed in this review.

This was my first time using Sentry Home Inspections. Our inspector was Tim Bills. He was punctual…read moreand extremely thorough. He found a lot of items I would never have thought were issues. He broke down the issues between minor and major. He was also able to get the report back to us that same night. In addition, Tim was able to spot mold which the owner hadn't known about. He took a sample and had it sent off for verification. It came back as being mold, and the owner agreed to pay for the mold remediation. I also appreciated the fact that Tim took extra time to walk me line by line through the inspection. We will certainly use Sentry Home Inspections again and recommend them.
