We arrived and we booked a room that ended up not fitting a rolling bed so they upgraded us and gave us a discount which was so nice! If feels like your living in grandmas house. Such a homie feeling. It walking distance from the small town with all the shops and businesses. They have a snack area with chips and drinks your can grab all day since there are not convenient stores around. The breakfast was the absolute best! Made to order. First she brought out fruit and coffee. Then a pancake. Then eggs bacon and sausage and toast. I mean it was a whole home cooked meal! It's also walking distance from water area park with benches you can sit and look at the water. I promise you that you need to stay at this place when you come visit. Very private, the balconies were shielded from the neighbors and even the pools below could only see us if we were out on the balcony. The views were quite stunning! My only complaint is that the towels were pretty bad and extremely thin, more so than any other hotel I've visited. We went to the bar on the second floor to people watch. It's a cute spot and has access to outdoor seating with a view and fire pits. Our drinks were just "ok"...I've never had ice in a French 75 and my husband's old fashioned was made with crushed ice and not a ball or large cube which was odd. Total scammers. She knew exactly what she was doing the entire time she was " checking me in". Then she checked her phone after giving me the keys. She said oh my manger said no animals. She was very nice but couldn't do anything to help us. The next morning July 24th 2022 we went down to talk to the manager. She was extremely rude. She acted like she was above us and that we were lying. She wouldn't even go look at the room. She gave us a very small discount. My cousin owns Comfort Inn's and has to meet standards. This Comfort Inn didn't meet these standards. The room charge was $350.00 for one night and I wouldn't of stayed in that room for free.
