A very good experience at this Home2 Suites in Frederick. My room was clean and smelled fresh. I appreciate the Digital Room Key which allows you to use the Hilton app to check in, skip the front desk, and gain access to your room. Unlike some other hotels where you can only have the digital key or the physical key card active at any given time, this Home2 Suites allows you to have both active at the same time, giving you greater flexibility. All of the essential room amenities are in the Kind Bed Suite; fridge, microwave, desk, big screen television, sofa, etc.. There is ample free parking on site. The free hot breakfast is also a win; you can choose from meat proteins, eggs, warm biscuits, baked goods, etc.. There is also a gym on site. The customer service was good. Overall, a very good stay at this Home2 Suites. I'll stay here again when in the area. read more

I've been staying at this hotel for 3 months now and I enjoy it. Here is a breakdown of my stay. 1) Service-The front desk staff are nice and attentive. My only gripe was that my room isn't cleaned enough. I believe I picked every Wednesday to have my room cleaned, but this schedule isn't adhered to so I find myself requesting getting my room cleaned at the front desk on several occasions. 2) Room-My room is spacious and has a pull out couch so I'm able to have guests sleep over. The biggest challenge is not having enough trash bags, the body wash dispenser is constantly empty so I have to go out and buy my own, and I rarely have dishwashing soap so I usually have to ask the front desk for more. The housekeeping department definitely needs improvement. I love they have HBO here, but I wish it was possible to access my Netflix account from the TV. 3) Food-The breakfast setup is ok. I believe they used to have Omelette's before the pandemic hit. They do offer breakfast sandwiches, toast, bagels, cereal, etc. If you're looking for other options, there are frozen meals and snacks by the front desk for purchase. 4) Parking-There is plenty of parking here. I find its quiet during the week and some weekends. However, some weekends the parking lot is absolutely packed. During the week, there is plenty. 5) Location-The location here is great. You can walk or drive a short distance to restaurants and bars. read more

Surprisingly the best hotel in Frederick. I'm a Hilton guy usually so it's no surprise. Hotel options are a bit scarce out here as far as decent ones go. Lots of low end Hilton's and Marriott's (Fairfield, Hampton Inn, etc.). This one is easily the best bang for your buck. Large, spacious, clean rooms. All rooms are suite style (kitchenette, couch) as is typical with this brand. Above average breakfast featuring protein bowls and breakfast sandwiches. Fantastic gym featuring a cable machine, chin-up bar, free weights, peloton, and treadmills. The breakfast and gym really make this one superior to the others. All it needs is a hot tub and I'd be a very happy traveler. That's what all the Marriotts here lack unfortunately. What they do have is the hot tub, but besides that they are inferior. read more

I'm really sad to have to leave a one star review for this Home2 Suites, because I have had great experiences at other Hilton properties including a great recent stay at the Home2 Suites in Leesburg, VA. We stayed at this location from June 10th 2023 to June 14th 2023 while we were working on moving into our new apartment as part of an active duty military change of station. The rooms were pretty nice with only a little musty smell but comfy beds, good working AC, etc. The breakfast was decent. If the service was even OKAY, I would have given 4 stars at least, but the service was AWFUL. We specifically went to the front desk to request room service in the early AM of June 12th. The lady at the front desk said she would make a note of it to be sure we had our room cleaned and fixed up. We left for the day to work on moving things into our new apartment and came back late (perhaps 10pm), expecting a nice clean hotel room with new towels etc. Instead, NOTHING had been done. Ok...one mess up seems frustrating for a Hilton but not the end of the world. So, we informed the front desk we never had the service we requested and we received NO apology from the lady at the front desk the night of June 12th. She did say that she would again MAKE A NOTE to be sure that we had housekeeping completed on Tuesday June 13th. So we left Tuesday June 13th to work on our apartment again and again returned late around 10:30pm. NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE. This is EXTREMELY poor service and EXCEPTIONALLY rude treatment. I am flabbergasted and disgusted with the complete disregard for customer satisfaction among the hotel staff here. I am now sitting here writing this review in a filthy hotel room with unclean sheets and plenty of dirty towels on the floor (it's been 3 nights and this is the 4th night, June 13th with our checkout being tomorrow AM). We aren't going to go to the front desk now at 11pm because it's obviously too late for housekeeping and we are exhausted. Plus, last night (June 12th), we overheard the EXTREMELY rude front desk lady arguing with and yelling at a customer who had expressed a complaint. We could hear the front desk lady being rude from ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HALL. That is extremely unprofessional behavior, especially for a Hilton. Hilton corporate needs to know about this situation and how their staff is treating active duty military personnel as well as customers in general. Disciplinary action and firing/retraining needs to occur. I expect to hear back from the management and want a refund. And DO NOT SEND ME SOME BOILERPLATE COPY AND PASTE APOLOGY WITH A WEBSITE WHERE I CAN GO AND "PROVIDE FEEDBACK" like you have done with others here! read more

We stayed here on a Friday night in October 2018. We had made our reservation online and knew this particular location was new and thought it would be a nice place to stay after flying all day. We arrived after 1am and were impressed by the lobby area, it was clean and modern. The room was spacious, and decorated nicely. It had a small kitchen with an oversized refrigerator, full size dishwasher, dishes and microwave. The sleeping and sitting area with couch could be separated by a curtain. We did not check but we assume the couch was also a pull out bed. This could be very convenient when traveling with family members to enable for more sleeping space and a little bit of privacy. It was nice to see all the counter space, moveable desk and large TV. This was the biggest TV we have ever seen in a hotel room, we think it was at least a 50 inch. They also have free Wi-Fi which enabled me to do some work. The bathroom was on the smaller side but still very nice and had a great shower. Another thing that we appreciated was the comfortable bed and soft sheets. Nothing is worse than a hard, uncomfortable bed after a long day. We slept well and noticed it was very quiet. We would definitely recommend to others and will continue to look for Home2 when traveling in the future! read more

I stayed at Home2 Suites the first time I arrived in Frederick. It was a three evening stay, and I liked it. When I relocated to Frederick for a new job, my employer paid for a 30-day stay, and I footed the bill for another 36 days. The staff are pleasant and friendly. Niccole, the manager, is one of the nicest, most helpful and patient people you will ever meet. Having breakfast ready for me every morning was something I became too used to too fast, and I really miss it. The ladies who clean the rooms are immensely courteous and do an absolutely amazing job. read more

I feel bad because if the pool was open like they told me it was going to be and the vent in the wall hadn't broke at 4:00am in the morning the night before we were leaving, vibrating my bed and motorizing my wall for the rest of the night, keeping me awake when I had a six hour drive home the next day, I would have given this Hilton a five. Staff was sweet as could be, and did try to fix the problem but it was out of there hands they needed a mechanic. I really did like how clean and comfortable the place was. read more

Clean, nice location for the MD/VW/VA area. Front staff was eh, average. Housekeeping was great. Rooms are decent - full suits would be better. Elevator temp is about 105 - TURN ON THE AC in the elevator! Wifi needs attention, slow and often times out. Breakfast is subpar at best Good coffee. Small hotel store, but close to so many other business i.e SHEETZ! really not a big deal. read more

I would give it four and a half stars if Yelp would let me cut the fifth one in two. The room was great. Clean, comfortable and had most everything we would need. This included a microwave, larger than most fridge, kitchen sink and dishwasher. There was also plenty of utensils and dishes. My only two complaints would be that I wish there were two sinks in the bathroom, and the breakfast could have been better. Other hotel chains offer scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon in a buffet style. Here they were only offered as part of a croissant sandwich which, on a busy Saturday morning, they ran out of for a while. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant and we slept well. read more

I chose this hotel because you can't go wrong with a Home2 Suites hotel. Same thing here. I had a pleasant experience. The only downside was after leaving, I had 2 different charges for $30 and $20 on my card. The manager mentioned it was due to damage and retainer fee in case, but would wipe off after x amount of days, in which it did. The place was clean, spotless, staff was friendly. They have a breakfast that is different. The sandwiches and eggs are pre-cooked and wrapped in plastic paper. You have to unwrap and microwave. It was different, but I enjoyed it. read more

Customer service is terrible. I booked a hotel room at this hotel through Expedia for March 12. The evening before my reservation there was a large amount of snow at my home to the point where I could not leave my home. I called first thing the morning of my reservation to attempt to cancel due to the weather, I was told I would need to cancel through Expedia directly. In the meantime I was charged by the hotel for the room. I called Expedia to attempt to cancel and was told that the hotel needed to refund me as they were the ones who charged my card. In an attempt to contact the hotel they refused to refund me. I will add that I understand that when I booked my room there were no cancellations after March 7. However I could not have foreseen getting so much snow that I couldn't leave my house so it would have been nice if I wasn't charged $140 to stay at home. Or at least be refunded a portion of my stay as it was an issue outside of my control. read more

Stayed in a Home2 Suite for the first time. Hotel is nice and fairly new. Breakfast options are good. Front desk staff are pleasant and nice especially Jordyn. She greets me every night returning from work. Minus a star because they only "clean" once every 5 days according to their sign. They do change and replace towels daily and empty trash. But no vacuuming or wiping down anything so if you are not clean and neat this hotel is not for you. read more

The hotel itself is very modern, sleek, and the amenities were top notch. The room was clean and spacious, and it was obviously a well-maintained hotel. The one nuance that you will probably laugh at, unless you take breakfast seriously, was the breakfast spread. There were minimal selections (eggs but the only sides were alternative-meat sausage and boiled eggs) and a ton of cereals, yogurts, and waffles. It was weird that other than eggs there was no other expected proteins, and I was so bummed that when I grabbed my bagel there was 0 cream cheese. I asked, and they said they had to wait for stock delivery. I can't imagine a bagel without cream cheese, so I was a little bit taken aback (also a little hungover and didn't love the rest of the spread). Luckily, an angel who worked there was restoring the silverware and disappeared with the ONE cream cheese she personally stashed away and made my entire morning so much better. Overall, I'd definitely come back...and maybe bring some cream cheese with me! read more

The service was stellar here, and seriously the most comfy bed I've been in that I can recall. We loved the mini kitchenette and fridge, helped us out being on a road trip with food from home. This was my first Hilton experience-- I've been a loyal Marriott customer for years, but after numerous disappointing visits in recent years, we decided to make a change and couldn't have been happier. We needed a last minute reservation for 2 connected rooms. Sadly they didn't have any available but managed to put us next to each other which was perfect. Hotel is brand new and gorgeous. Very clean, spacious rooms. LOVE the blackout curtains and location is perfect. On day 2 we got rid of one room and kept the other for an additional night (also last minute), which they graciously accommodated. In all the rush the night before I had forgotten to ask about Military discount-- no problem! They even went back and added it to the previous night for both rooms. I wish I had gotten everyone's names from the front desk who helped us-- I believe one was named Tiffany, but it's been a few weeks, so I may be mistaken, but every single staff member at the front desk went above and beyond for us and was wonderful. They even allowed me a super late checkout. The only thing I could possibly mention was that the phone in our room was broken-- but who uses those things nowadays anyway!? Haha. Wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't needed to call about the late checkout. And the free breakfast is a bit skimpy, but what was offered seemed fresh and nice. Not much of a breakfast person so it didn't bother me either way. A huge thank you to everyone there who made our stay great!! read more
