    The WORST unprofessional service. My sons diapers are ALWAYS late. I have called the last couple of times to remind them to send my sons diapers on time and somehow they are never on time. I was told they are supposed to be shipped on the 12th of each month by the lady in charge of diapers. (Confirmed by Herb) This month, I called on Monday, April 17, 2023 to remind them once again. It is Friday, April 21, 2023 and there was NO DIAPER DELIVERY this week. I am beyond frustrated. Herb has been kind but this needs to be fixed ASAP. Even with my calls and reminders, they fail to send them. Every single month I am having to buy my son diapers out of pocket. Diapers that barely fit him due to his age & size. I understand there is some delays at times, but every single month? Unbelievable. Whoever is in charge of my sons diaper order is absolutely terrible at her job. It is not my job to be calling multiple times a week in order for the diapers to be sent. I have been very patient since my son has been receiving diapers from them for a long time. We have NEVER had this issues with other DMEs.

More importantly the story owner Sunny has 20 years of experience and was very helpful. This store also had a large selection of ortho related products. Cons: not any come to mind. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but when it happened again, in Dec I was livid. I got on the phone after hearing what happened from my parents and my mom notably upset and tried to reach out to someone immediately. After some back and forth and people trying to avoid accountability and redirecting my phone calls like a bad game of ping pong. I was finally able to speak to a manager named Veronica and sent corporate an email documenting everything that Jamie did to create a toxic space for my parents that very day. I won't go into detail here, but they know what their employee Jamie did and it came out that this particular employee has a history of this sort of behavior. that is not acceptable, and she's lucky I wasn't there to witness it firsthand. When working in healthcare and dealing with a vulnerable population, it is essential all involved come with a level of professionalism, training, bedside manner and patience needed to effectively make sure these patients are properly addressed, treated and most importantly protected. If you cannot deliver on these basic descriptions then YOU DO NOT BELONG IN HEALTHCARE, NOR DO YOU BELONG WITH DEALING WITH PATIENTS! Period!! I made sure I came to the appointment with my father that week after making arrangements with Veronica and made sure Veronica from management knew I was coming and if that tech Jamie was there, hell was going to be made. She better hide, and I wanted another tech to see us. No exceptions. I can be the nicest person, kind, and forgiving. People have bad days, its normal. However when the behavior continues again, that becomes unacceptable to me. I have zero tolerance when it comes to mistreating others, especially my parents or anyone in a state of vulnerability. When that happens ;this healthcare professional becomes proactive and protective of all. I don't care if I look like a bad guy, labeled difficult or a karen. It's the right thing to do. She was conveniently "off" that day. Instead, of coming in hot, I came in cautious and was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and attentiveness that our respiratory therapist Azita provided. Come to find out, she is part time. I wish she was full time Azita's patience with allowing my father and I both to have a safe space and allotted time to try to figure out what apparatus would work for both of us was extremely valuable. She was kind, she was patient, she was respectful, and she was professional. These are qualities that each member of healthcare should possess when dealing with patients in every sector. Whether it's in the hospital or outpatient. This is where the 2 stars come in. This review prior to our interaction with Azita would have been a -3. Let it be known that healthcare professionals ALL TALK TO EACH OTHER. If a facility that they send their patients to treats their patients poorly, you better believe that they will all hear about it and when the times come for contract renewals to come out, those facilities will lose money, lose their contract and will hurt their bottom lines and those Healthcare Professionals will send their patients to competitors . It is in their best interest for S&G HOMECARE to remove bad apples who are on their teams like Jamie that go against the value of the quality of care that patients are being given, and to bring in people like Azita to retain their branding and their clientele. The girls at the front desk like Arleen who were there that day I was there and the day my parents had their interactions are gems. I can understand trying to keep the peace when coworkers lose their damn minds, but let it be known, I take names, and i document. S&G i hope you addressed the issue at hand and keep better respiratory therapists on your teams who allow a safe space for all to visit. Speaking with other patients that day , it is ironic that at least 4 others also had issues with the SAME tech and had to come back again to the center 3x to get proper treatment.     Haha... not the only one experiencing the sub level experiences posted here. Needed some wound care…read moresupplies for the surgical site following discharge from the hospital. They have only got 20% of the order right. We have been at them February to correct the supplies. For instance: requested-received for one month/30 days. Nitrile exam gloves- vinyl or latex gloves Waterproof tape- paper tape 1 roll Sterile gloves-one pair Sterile gauze- non sterile gauze. We've out of pocket the supplies from a local medical shop instead. This company is not capable of getting their ordering straight. Customer service is non-existent. The supply-side has their head somewhere that the sun doesn't shine. It takes about twenty four days to correct a shipping errors. Customer service calls take about fifteen minutes to reach somebody. Then they transfer to supply , which takes another fifteen to twenty minutes to reach somebody off shore in most instances. Mary was good at explaining what was happening with our order. Tip: make sure your doctor's office is very detailed in the reference code and description sent to them. Otherwise, you'll get the pickers interpretation of your supplies. My tip if $ possible: Skip this company and buy your own then be reimbursed by insurance. The headaches dealing with them is immeasurable.

When you're dealing with medical equipment, delays and lack of communication are simply unacceptable. Customer service from has been extremely disappointing. We haven't felt supported, informed, or prioritized at any point during this process. Overall, this has been a stressful and frustrating experience. And they'll do it with knowledge, empathy and honesty. We first happened upon On the Mend's while outfitting our 93 yr old mother's apartment following a long stay in rehab. On The Mend had everything we needed to assure her safety and mobility needs. Very recently, we rented a reclining lift chair for my use following total knee replacement surgery. I was able to set up the entire rental & delivery by phone. They said they would arrive close to 10:00am on a certain date. My phone rang at exactly 10:00am on that date with On the Mend's delivery! Our stairway was too narrow to accommodate the whole chair so the 2 darling, helpful delivery guys took the chair apart and got it upstairs and ready for use! They did all this with big smiles and kept assuring me it was "no big deal". (Believe me, it was a BIG deal!) Today was chair pick up day and I was quoted a time of 1:00pm. To our delight and surprise, my phone rang at 12:59 pm! The two wonderful guys took the chair apart again and carefully moved it down 2 flights of stairs and out of our home. They were so incredibly careful of our walls as they navigated the stairways! I cannot recommend this small business enough! Please throw all your home medical needs business to this extraordinary family and store. They truly care and your needs will be primary to them. I can guarantee you they will have compassion, integrity, be timely, communicate well, be ultra polite and attentive to all your needs. On The Mend is what we wish all businesses operated like.
