When I picked up the rental (mobility scooter) I told them that we were heading to the San Diego Zoo safari park. The range for fully charged was 12 miles, which should have been plenty for that park, but it ran out of juice. They told me I could plug it in anywhere if I needed to recharge, but there were actually very few places in the park with outlets, and you had to leave it plugged in for a while to get any charge. I plugged it in for a short time, and it ran out of juice again. When I returned the scooter to the store, they asked, "Didn't you charge it overnight first?" They never told me that in order to get the full range I would have to charge it overnight first. I picked it up the morning we were going; they knew I was heading straight to the park. I don't know if they gave it to me with a full charge or not; it sounds like maybe they were counting on me to make sure it was fully charged, without explaining that to me. If you rent a scooter from them, double check the situation with the charge, make sure you have a full charge before you go somewhere with limited time/ability to recharge. I expressed my dissatisfaction upon returning it, but they didn't seem that concerned. They apologized, but some sort of discount on this rental (which they did not offer) would have made me feel like they were actually sorry. read more

They conferred with the manufacturer right then & it was determined to replace the chair. Both times the delivered it & set it up just the way I wanted it. Very responsive. Today was the 2nd time I have gone into this store and have had the worst customer service by Daniel and Jenny. Both times I went into the store Daniel and Jenny were working and these two individuals are unprofessional, rude and do not know the merchandise they sell. Today, I walked into the store to loud hard rock music playing, Jenny was reclined in a Golden Chair and Daniel was leaning over her laughing and talking and neither of them acknowledging I had walked in. I found what I needed and as I was waiting to check out I was talking to the only other customer there about our National Emergency and the Coronavirus and how we were nervous about the situation. Daniel rings my merchandise up and then says to me, "Don't get the Coronavirus" and laughs. I turned around and said, "I cannot believe you just said that out loud to me", his response, "I think the whole Coronavirus is a joke and I am not worried about it." Daniel is an employee of a Medical Store and is a representation of the owners and his unprofessionalism and lack of sensitivity in a time of National Emergency to the customers was appalling. I will never step foot into this store again. The other time I came into the store Jenny and Daniel were working and like this time were talking and laughing and ignoring the customers. I asked Jenny about a Golden Chair model and if they sold it and she had zero knowledge of the chair and offered no information regarding their chairs. She acted like I was interrupting her conversation with her co-worker. I ended up buying the $2500.00 chair at Alpine Medical store in Seal Beach who had best customer service and free delivery. Everything they sell in this store you can get on line or at any other of the 30+ medical supply stores in Orange County and for a much cheaper price. I wanted to support my local business but after my experiences above I will never step foot in this store again and I recommend that if you are considering this store, take my advise and go elsewhere. read more

What a great resource for medical supplies! Been shopping there for decades. I've purchased tons of orthopedic support products over the years and also items that have been extremely helpful for my elderly mother. Recently, when I needed masks, gloves and a thermometer, and no one had them, they did. They do a great job keeping things stocked and if they run out, they'll tell you exactly when they are expecting a shipment. I've never had to wait more than a day or two to get something that wasn't in stock. Great store and lucky to have in the community! read more

I came in looking for some scrubs. There was two girls currently working & all they did was chit chat. When I asked them questions it was almost as if I was interrupting. They didn't bother to ask if I needed any help. The first time I came Vanessa helped me out and was very attentive and kind. I would've rather she helped me out. SHAME ON YOU! If I could give 0 stars I would. I heard from a neighbor they had n95 masks. They are price gauging terribly. $17 per mask. OUTRAGEOUS. Normally n95 masks are easily $1 each when corona isn't affecting us. These people are making a quick buck because we are in need. Medical stores are being given preference over civilians and they are taking advantage. Don't support these monsters. read more

This place offers the WORST customer service ever. I called on June 7 to reserve a lift chair for my July 7 major surgery. I was told to call back closer to the date I need delivery. OK. So, I'm going out of state to a class tomorrow and not returning until July 4 so I thought, "Hey, I'd better get this done today!" So I just called: no lift chairs of the type I need are available, I can't have the crappier one delivered until July 7 (the day I'm in surgery) - gee, that's a problem. There is absolutely NO working WITH the woman answering the phone. Hideous; avoid! My surgeon gave me a referral to this business; I will make sure her office finds a better business to suggest. read more

This store has a below average supply of nurses uniforms but it did have the brand I specifically buy so as a Hoag employee I came here because they do offer a 10% discount IF you BRING YOUR BADGE which they Photo Copy, for "accounting purposes." The reason for my 2 stars was for customer service as although the clerk was nice he failed to noticed that the uniforms I purchased were labeled as were the entire bunch of them $28.99 he charged me $29.99 and although it's only a petty dollar what he should have done was honor the labeled price as it was an error on their entire line of that brand, not just on the 2 I purchased. I would suggest just buying on-line as most of the brands they carry offer similar discounts if not more when you purchase through them directly. read more

I had been searching on Amazon for days trying to find protective rubber gloves and I was recommended to stop by this place that is right in my own neighborhood. The customer service and the people who work at this store are just horrible. I have been helping my father who is in his 80's purchase compression sleeves for the arthritis in his knees for years from this place and after spending quite a bit of money, they refused to replace a sleeve that had a snag in it which prevented it from full compression and will eventually fail completely. This snag was obviously a manufacturer flaw but they still refused to replace it or refund the cost. My father is on a very tight budget as many senior citizens are so these have to last. This tear was not from use but could not be detected until being stretched out to put it on which he test fitted later the same day of purchase. They will not allow you to test fit at the store. It was brought back the very next day but because they stamp all their receipts with "Final Sale", they believe it eliminates their responsibility to stand behind what they sell. I contacted American Express and they provided my father a full refund. We will never purchase from this company or store again. The good news is that we now find superior compression sleeves for my father from a internet seller for half the cost and they carry a full two year warranty against any and all issues. You can window shop at this place if you need reference for items that you may need but do yourself a favor and hunt it down on the internet, you'll save plenty of money and receive superior customer service. read more

No Stars! I have shopped this store many times and have never had a problem with the women that work there. Why would I? I buy a lot of products. The last time I went there, some young kid was behind the counter and he was such a rude punk to this other customer and myself that I was in shock. I have never been talked to like he did and when I asked him not to talk to me that way, he challenged me by saying, "Or you'll do what?" What a snot nosed little brat. I figured he must have been an owners relative (who in their right mind would hire him?) He was such an unprofessional child that couldn't even be polite to customers that were there to spend money? I found out he was mad because it was 10 minutes until closing time when we came to the store. I still can't believe it. Not only that (and this is a separate complaint) they were price gauging N95 masks during a pandemic crisis! There is another Medical Store in Fashion Island that has better quality and a better selection than this store does and I will travel the extra mile from now on. However, when the mark up on items is so extreme I feel I need to share. Today I went to this store to purchase Tegaderm. I was shown the items I was looking for and when told the prices I was surprised. For example, Tegaderm 1628 6x10 patch per unit price at this store was $10.95. A purchase made for the exact same product one day earlier at another medical supply store/ price per unit at $4.25. A substantial difference and after checking prices with 3M a box of 10 units is priced at $31.56. read more

Recently I went to the Medical Store with a prescription from my doctor for a Tall Cam Boot. I stayed in the car as I was unable to put weight on my foot while a friend went in with my prescription and my credit card, trusting that the prescription would be filled property. I was advised at that time that the boot was not returnable, however I did not try it on while in the car. Subsequently, my doctor looked at the boot and said it was not what he ordered. It was a short boot and not a tall one. I again contacted the store and was told that they would not refund the purchase even though it was their error and had not been use. Their customer service and inaccuracy in filling prescriptions is the reason for this one star. read more

This used to be my go to store, not any more. I have purchased more than my fair share of scrubs and medical supplies from here as well as recommended fellow colleagues and friends in the medical field. I work in Fullerton and get off at 5:00 pm. Last week I drove here and with traffic and everything made it around 6:10 pm. I understand that was totally not their fault as obviously everyone has listed hours and can't accommodate everybody and they do close at 6:00 pm. So today I called at 4:30 telling them I'm in need of some scrubs and wanted to buy at least 2 pairs of the HeartSoul brand which are not cheap by any means. I called and spoke with someone around 4:30 telling them what I wanted and that I would get off work at 5:00 and try to get there on time. I left work, drove all the way over here and called again at 5:54 pm because I was just on Newport blvd and was worried because I kept missing the dang lights. I told them that this happened last week and said I would try and be there by 6 that I was right down the street. The girls response was "Sorry, you need to get here before 6:00 we close at 6:00"... Really?!?! Obviously I pulled in the parking lot right at 6:00 found a spot to park and walked about as fast as I could to get to the door by 6:01, doors locked nobody even in sight. To me that's extremely bad customer service. When I'm driving an hour (in traffic) and call to tell you 1. This happened last time and 2. That I'm literally down the street and have driven all the way from Fullerton to give you my business I just feel like that's such a shame. I found a couple of other places that carry HeartSoul and will now be shopping at those locations, hopefully they respect their customers and appreciate all of my business and my time. Plus in my opinion 6:00 is an interesting time to close. Especially for those getting off work at 5:00 and having to deal with rush hour traffic. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the other few times I went they were indeed helpful, but I'm huge on customer service and this really bothered me. read more

Have been here before to purchase numerous things. Came in to buy transport chair. Looked around, I was told that they rent also. Decided to rent one so I would get to try this model out. The one I wanted was not available in the size I wanted. After looking around they found one in the back. They changed out the foot rest since one was broken. Long story short, there was a "reason" it was in the back. Chair was for a relative who I was taking out of town. Chair rolled fine until you put someone in it. Then it wobbles real bad. Brakes not adjusted also. We were already out of town when we discovered this. Brought it back in when we got back into town, Told them what happened and she said I should have brought it back. Explained I was out of town. I didn't think that I would have to ask for compensation, when I did ask was told that I should have brought it back. DUH!!!! Was out of town. Got major attitude from so called manager. Told me she would have to ask owner what to do. If you want to test your patience, go to this store.
