It wasn't the color or the size that I wanted, but I did ask him where the bathroom is and she pointed to the bathroom and said the other desks are over there. I'll meet you over there. I went to the bathroom and then came out and waited about five minutes for her and she never came back. As I was leaving, I took a look around. I think they had a total of three desks and one of them was the price of a Pottery barn desk so if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'd rather just go to pottery barn

A coworker and I decided to stop by once we heard that the store was having an "Everything Must Go"…read moresale. Found out about the closing through a news article posted yesterday and we both figured the sooner we go the better options we'd have to pick something up. I've actually never been here and I didn't know it existed. Right now they have ALOT of Christmas decor from candles, wreaths, knick-knacks, throws, mirrors, pillows, artwork, etc. He ended up buying a mirror and a throw blanket and I got a sectioned charcuterie board big enough to wallop someone if I needed to for about $20. The staff were so polite and I watched them help other patrons out from measuring tape or lifting heavy items to the checkout counter. They said that the other location in Mandarin isn't closing, just their store. Hopefully they will be transferred. Sucks that this location is closing but I'm glad I was able to stop in and check out what they had to offer. Also got on the mailing list so if I do feel so inclined to go out to Mandarin I will!

Having very limited time I had to go and select what was necessary so the project could continue and not held up any longer. Stressed well, that's an understatement however I first had the privilege of working with Randy who invoked Todd's opinion and ended with Erica @ check out. They truly made this stressful situation a Joy and I even left with a smile on my face because of them. Randy was extremely patient, I asked him if he was busy and if he could help. He spent the next 20 minutes walking up and down the aisles repetitively (at least four times) before I could finally decide on the tile. As we were looking for the shower flooring to match the fantastic tile- the only thing I knew - I wanted pebbles. This is where Todd came to help, the two of them tag team and got various samples. (I got one which got voted out very quickly for the right reason). Todd had an eye for this as does Randy and that truly made a difference because from what I said earlier, being extremely stressful now suddenly became exciting because of the tile and pebble flooring that Randy and Todd helped select. Upon leaving, I had the privilege of working with Erica who is so kind and patient as I asked many questions about how the contractor will come get everything the following morning. She maintained a smile and when I told her how great Randy and Todd were she handed me a card so I could do a yelp review. Little does she know I've been an elite yelper for Eight years Overall, I'm very happy with what I got, the prices were very reasonable and I got a good value for my money. I was actually surprised at how inexpensive the pebble flooring and tile were as I really thought it was gonna cost a lot more. I popped into this store on my way from shopping in the nearby shopping center. My husband and I wanted to check it out and see if we found any inspiration or even some pieces we love enough to take home with us. Kate greeted us at the door and let us know that we could have almost anything in whatever upholstery we like, change the color, wood finishing, texture, etc. That kind of versatility is amazing! The turnaround time when placing a custom order like that is 6-8 weeks. we loved the curated pieces in the store and liked how each setting was thoughtfully placed, showcasing the different potential personalities that come with living spaces. In the end, we were pressed for time so we didn't buy anything. We loved the color on some of the walls we saw, and Kate got us the name of the paint and the color before we left the store. Despite not buying anything, we loved our experience in this store, and would come back in a heartbeat. Kate checked on us and offered her help in matching things, getting ideas together, and going through this whole process, which I greatly appreciated. I walked around the entire store looking for the set I wanted. I opened drawers and verified measurements once I found the set. No one greeted me when I walked in. No one asked if I needed help while I was walking around the store. Despite waiting by the set I wanted and trying to wave down associate I still received no help whatsoever. Not even I'll be with you shortly. Needless to say I left the store without my bedroom furniture and was highly disappointed!

My personal view about thrift stores is that those who shop there see the value of the dollar & wish to keep more of it in their pockets by buying 2nd hand! I was raised on thrift stores and garage sales! The thrill of the find was always exciting on Saturday mornings as my Mom planned out our route like others plan out their Black Friday strategies. Needless to say, thrifting is in my blood! I've visited this Goodwill location for years, even through its various different addresses. I'd have to say this latest renovation and choice of staff HAS to be the best yet! Most of the staff are approachable and helpful upon request. The layout of the store is far superior to what it has been in the past! The toy aisle will ALWAYS be a disaster, as it's the 'babysitting' aisle while the moms shop! THE electronics aisle/appliance aisle needs cameras.... ALWAYS empty packages on it! All-in-all, the quality of merchandise is becoming better and better with each trip. With the exception of the bathrooms, the esthetics of the store have improved 100%! Removing the 'boutique' section is also a BIG PLUS! no need to separate quality items if you remove the tattered, torn, stained dollar store buys from the racks, instead. I do feel it would be more helpful to even out the quantity of items a bit better among all of the chain's locations!

I was actually looking for really old cookbooks with good recipes in them but I didn't see any I wanted to buy. The staff here were rushing around but were friendly, always willing to help a customer or give a hug or two to visiting ex-staff members. That part warmed my heart a bit. I did find some heeled slides, a beach painting for my bathroom, several Jax shirts, a Bold City Brewery 5th anniversary glass and last but not least, a package of Smarties candies. No, not used or expired...these were brand new and in the checkout line because of great marketing. By this time you're hungry and more likely to by food after all that shopping. I definitely want to check this place out periodically.

The place was hopping. The store is very well organized but like other people have stated some the aisles aren't wide enough for people to pass by but we managed. This day's colored tag was red and I only found 1 or 2 items that had them. Perhaps the best item I found were some paintings of Puerto Rico that were done on wood planks in the last 4 years and some sunglasses.
