This homegoods has really great stuff!!!! Fell in love with their white plates with gold trim. A gorgeous classic. The pet section was extremely chic with gorgeous accents for the home while being comfortable for our furry friends. The Halloween section had everything for everyone's taste, cute/glam/horror/victorian madness, you name it. Word of advice, leave the hubby at home LOL. read more

8/27/23 Thought I'd find cedar blocks here...alas, none! Somehow I don't think many places carry them anymore. I think the last time I bought them was from Bed Bath & Beyond--you know how that story ended 10/8/23 I wanted to find a pillow that will support my neck & be elevated. I cannot tolerate laying flat anymore & if I stack two pillows, I end up sliding down. That's a "negative, Batman!" Can't find it here either. But I found other things equally important & on clearance for gift giving that are super useful. Hand-soaps for the kitchen for $3.50 each, generic but pretty handy. Got popcorn for the crew too. I heart HomeGoods. I'd have to say that it's my favorite of all 3 affiliates around me {HG, TJ Maxx and Marshall's}. They have adorable holiday decorations, pillows, soft blankets, kitchen gadgets and organization, fun shaped pastas, other food goodies and treats, dishes, candles, bathroom items and the list goes on.... When you stumble upon plates or pillows or anything that you would purchase as a set, you will not be able to complete a set at any one location. You need to play scavenger hunt. (All the games you used to play as a kid only prepares you for adulthood) So I needed to find a couple more plates to complete a set of dinnerware and so happy to find some here. This location is pretty fully stocked with everything you can imagine. A little too clustered at some portions of the store which makes browsing more challenging. Only those who work hard at digging for merchandise win. But I am glad to find another store I can visit that is closer to my home. Oh and you will be happy to know that in the same shopping center is Marshall's so make time for both stores if you can! read more

This is for the Asian cashier who works here. When I got to the register after waiting some minutes in line, I put cookies on the counter and realized it was already open? She said, "You just want to grab a new one really quick?" So I did and keep in mind she should know the food section is near the front of the store and I am only grabbing one bag of cookies. When I came back, she was already ringing the next customer with a LOT of stuff. She did not even acknowledge me as I put the cookies in front of her, nor explain why she was ringing a lot of things up and couldn't wait a few seconds. Not even a sorry. I had to be the one to tell her, "I thought you told me to grab a new one really quick." That's when she said "oh, sorry!" with an annoying laugh like she did not think much of inconveniencing someone, and she proceeded to still ring people up. There was not even a long line behind us. I think if it was a customer with one item, yes, but you make someone wait a long time after you said they can go grab an unopened item, and then not even apologize or acknowledge until they point it out, just feels really stupid and no regard for customers at all. I'm going to give this location a generous 3 star, but I feel it should be a 2 star. I had no idea there was a home goods here, so I was excited to see it as I drove into the parking lot (I was going to another store in this shopping center). I walked in and it looked like a typical home goods. Once I started browsing around, it felt very cramped. The aisles very narrow. Shoppers very pushy - I was nearly mowed down by self absorbed shoppers with their carts full of items. Stopped to look at some holiday decor, and was pushed out of the way by multiple shoppers! I felt as if I could not even comfortably shop here! There were so many items on the display shelves, that when I went to pick something up, other things were falling off of the shelves. It was very frustrating to say the least. There were lots of products, so if you are shopping for holiday decor, home decor, or kitchen items, there's lots to choose from. However, I did not find anything that I just had to have. Meanwhile, there were tons of shoppers here pushing carts loaded with product and the line was looping around the store. Be careful ladies when you are shopping at HomeGoods. My phone was stolen out of my purse while I was in the store. Who ever took the phone, turned it off immediately. When I went to the Apple Store to purchase a new phone, the Apple employee said I was the fifth person recently to come in and have my phone stole while shopping at HomeGoods. read more

Every time I come in here, I'm in trouble. New homeowner in Lakewood, wanting to spruce up the place. I come to HomeGoods and find EVERYTHING I never knew I needed! I go in for towels and come out with blankets, towels, hampers, mirrors, pet costumes, candles, etc. The quality of the products is always good. The service is good, too! Everyone is always helpful. I often visit the Cerritos Town Center location and I definitely find a few treasures each visit. They stage their seasonal gems perfectly and you can shop with ease to find whatever you're desiring. They always keep a solid variety of selections and quick gifts. The top tier for me at this location is their customer service!! Every time and I mean EVERY time I shop their staff is amazing whether answering questions, sharing ideas or checking out! Looking for a place to feel good while you shop- look no further! read more

Anywhere my wife and I travel, she seeks out the local HomeGoods store to forage through their merchandise for the latest deals and steals. This store, located in Lakewood, California, was a treasure trove and bursting with new items. It's packed to the rafters with merchandise, unlike the stores in Las Vegas. There were plenty of deals (not too many steals), my wife says. So much so that I had a hard time putting our luggage in the rear of our sizeable SUV when we returned home the other day. This store does a pretty good job of social distancing by counting the number of customers in and out. We had to wait a few minutes to get into the store while others department. The lines at HomeGoods are always long but move relatively quickly because they don't skimp on the number of cashiers. I even found several interesting items for myself, following my wife and mother-in-law around this store for over an hour. I guess maybe we'll have to get a larger SUV if we continue to travel. I went into Home Goods store #582 not even 15minutes ago I purchased a cabinet the cabinet had 2 tickets on it one ticket said $299 the other ticket said $229 so likely I should be honored the lowest price??? So I go to the register to purchase they say that they have to verify that this is the right price insinuating as if I change the ticket or it was written wrong but that's not my problem, As I patiently stand waiting to find out what's going on they ask the sale person if she had took the ticket off I was so then she calls I'm assuming the store manager who doesn't greet me doesn't say anything then checks the price then tell them to honor it but no one is talking to me thing... At this point I'm standing I'm on the side customers are watching me as if I've done something wrong I'm truly embarrassed I will never shop this home good again... read more

i like this store alot. probably good it's not too close to me. Nice selection of almost everything. they really pack a lot into this store especially in the aisles which makes getting around with a cart not easy. also not a lot of Cal-King sheets, & NOT separated out from the regular king on the bottom shelf either, & it'd be nice if the round size tag was a DIFFERENT color [CUSTOMER suggestion Corporate] i like they rotate seasonally & get rid of the old stuff. nice selection of rugs. read more

My dad and I were looking for 2 accent chairs and a specific framed map I had seen a few weeks ago. The manager went above and beyond to check the store for the frame I was looking for. I thought it was going to be a bother to even ask, so I said it was totally ok if he hadn't seen it and I'd look for it myself, but he insisted! He checked in a few times to see if we needed help finding anything else. Then, he helped us carry out 2 rather large accent chairs to the car. I've never had someone be so helpful at Homegoods or TJMaxx, and I usually understand since inventory is always changing. It was one of those unexpected impressions that even my dad said, "you should leave a Yelp review from us." I wish I knew his name! read more

I checked out this HomeGoods today while in Lakewood and it is a pretty good one. In terms of organization, this store has it on lock. The furniture section is where this store shines and there are tons of good finds. My favorite section today was the pets section with tons of selection of toys and dog beds. We ended up buying some pretty good lawn games here as well. The employees were nice and there was no line to check out which I enjoyed. My go-to HomeGoods is still in the Cerritos Town Center, but will definitely return again if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

It's pretty clean and well organized (compared to the half marshalls half homegoods stores). The staff are super friendly and very happy people! What good things can I say about Home Goods???!!! Everything! I spend hours on this store. Come out with more than I intended but there are always great finds at amazing prices. If your a shopper it won't hurt to sign up for their credit card: it's good for Marshall's, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Sierra and HomeSense. You get bonus points every time you shop in store and general points regardless so I'm always using a reward certificate when I go (free stuff people!). This store is always clean and the staff are amazing at helping me find things. You can't go wrong. read more

Went to Home Goods looking for a patio table I saw on their App. Unluckily for me it wasn't there but this store is jam packed with so many items. The store itself is not as big as some others I have been too but don't let that deter you. There are deals to be had here. I ended up finding a bar which will be a very nice addition to our home. As with any HomeGoods...sometimes you find that diamond in the rough here and sometimes you find absolutely nothing. It's a total craps shoot. But that's kinda what makes HG fun. You just never know what you're gonna get. Just know if you see something you think you want, best to just get it & then return it later if you change your mind. Some of the staff here can be pleasant. However, the older woman who is currently checking out at register 1 on 2/21/18 @ 1:29pm is consistently dismissive and I have observed her at times just performing idle task when there's a long line. 0o. It's ok, I don't mind being ignored, however, the people behind me seem to have a problem with it. Dear HomeGoods, time is MONEY! I absolutely hate going to this location for anything. It's always so blasted disorganized and messy. Additionally, I spend too much money in TJX company stores to be stared down and receive eye rolls from staff. i went to this home goods to buy my mom an xmas present and the worker joselyn was really helpful despite it being really late (10:55). she was kind and i really enjoyed my visit, the only problem was this lady walked in and she is white, late 40s, covered in tattoos and muttering to herself about something. she gave me an uncomfortable stare and she walked by and smelled like sewage and iron. i come here often and shes constantly there late at night and it makes me feel unsafe for myself and the workers. she is always talking to herself making threats thats shes going to hurt someone in this store if they talk to her. it would be beneficial to this store if they ban her or no longer allow her on the premesis. besides that, i really enjoy my experience here and joselyn made it an easy shopping time read more

I've been to a lot of Home Goods, I love Home Goods....not this one. The customer service is awful, I went and bought some Christmas decor and my cashier Shar??? was busy folding paper wrap while there was 4 people in line. She called me over and started my transaction in the middle of it the store phone rang and she proceeded to stop altogether and have a full blown conversation while I'm still standing there. Whispered my total, after that was done she half wrapped my glass item whilst still on the phone, I just told her her it's ok just give me my receipt and my items and left. Tonight, I went there to buy towels, same towels one was 7.99 and the other was 9.99, same barcode . Went to the cashier and my husband informed them of the issue, the cashier was nice and said ok she can fix that, then another cashier looked at it and said I think these were bought at two different times and we can't honor the lower price. Wait, it's your price tag and you can't honor that!? I've worked in customer service since I was 18 and you can't take off $2??? Come on! This location lacks so much and I'm so disappointed. read more

Large parking lot. This location offers great deals on housewares similar to other HomeGoods stores. The 5 stars is for their great customer service and their super clean store. I've had to return a defective item here before and it was hassle free and quick, and the gal was even apologetic about the product and invited me to find a replacement in store. In addition, this store is very conscious of when their line gets long - they generally start calling other employees up to start ringing customers up for a line as small as three people. I hesitated to write this review, but the unpleasant experience that I had today is still bothering me. I'm a fan of Homegoods and a fairly regular customer, although I normally frequent the Seal Beach location. I'd actually gone there and found an accent pillow that I wanted, but there was only one left (I needed two). I stopped in to the Woodruff location hoping that I would find a match. I did; however, the pillow was in poor condition and was missing some of its decorative beading. Since I didn't find what I was looking for, I continued to meander the pillow aisles, browsing through a few of them. I decided to leave once I didn't find a set that I could use. As I exited the last aisle, I noticed a tall man walking closely behind me. I moved to the side, thinking he may want to pass, but he kept a trail behind me. Once I was closer to the registers, I decided to glance behind me to figure out what this guy was doing. I turned and saw that he was wearing a button-down Homegoods uniform shirt. Our eyes met and he, very noticeably, glanced down into my purse. Since I shop at Homegoods regularly, I know that it's common to pick through and browse at most 'treasure hunt' stores. I picked up a few (rather large) pillows and placed them back on the shelves. I'm not sure what prompted this employee to trail me through the pillow section, but the experience left me feeling insulted. After reading some of the other reviews for this location, it's clear that this store's associates would benefit from further customer service training. Rude and disrespectful customer service is what I just received from this place! WOW! I was purchasing several items to redecorate a house. One item was marked at a different price than the other ones. It was the exact item! Sothea and manager were rude and acted as if we had committed a crime! THEY mislabeled the item three times and they're speaking to us in a rude way??!!! When I asked if they would honor the price they mislabeled, the manager said they were not that kind of store.
