12/11/22 Of course when I'm looking for monkfruit sugar, I can't find it

8/27/23 Thought I'd find cedar blocks here...alas, none! Somehow I don't think many places carry them anymore. I think the last time I bought them was from Bed Bath & Beyond--you know how that story ended 10/8/23 I wanted to find a pillow that will support my neck & be elevated. I cannot tolerate laying flat anymore & if I stack two pillows, I end up sliding down. That's a "negative, Batman!" Can't find it here either. But I found other things equally important & on clearance for gift giving that are super useful. Hand-soaps for the kitchen for $3.50 each, generic but pretty handy. Got popcorn for the crew too. Overall a good pit stop!

I heart HomeGoods. I'd have to say that it's my favorite of all 3 affiliates around me {HG, TJ Maxx and Marshall's}. They have adorable holiday decorations, pillows, soft blankets, kitchen gadgets and organization, fun shaped pastas, other food goodies and treats, dishes, candles, bathroom items and the list goes on.... There always seems to be something new so check back often. ;)

I'm going to give this location a generous 3 star, but I feel it should be a 2 star. I had no idea there was a home goods here, so I was excited to see it as I drove into the parking lot (I was going to another store in this shopping center). I walked in and it looked like a typical home goods. Once I started browsing around, it felt very cramped. The aisles very narrow. Shoppers very pushy - I was nearly mowed down by self absorbed shoppers with their carts full of items. Stopped to look at some holiday decor, and was pushed out of the way by multiple shoppers! I felt as if I could not even comfortably shop here! There were so many items on the display shelves, that when I went to pick something up, other things were falling off of the shelves. It was very frustrating to say the least. There were lots of products, so if you are shopping for holiday decor, home decor, or kitchen items, there's lots to choose from. However, I did not find anything that I just had to have. Meanwhile, there were tons of shoppers here pushing carts loaded with product and the line was looping around the store. I have no idea what these people were buying!

Bought the credenza, basket with blankets and mirrors from this HomeGoods! Love the boho look! The whole look came together perfectly!!!

Every time I come in here, I'm in trouble. New homeowner in Lakewood, wanting to spruce up the place. I come to HomeGoods and find EVERYTHING I never knew I needed! I go in for towels and come out with blankets, towels, hampers, mirrors, pet costumes, candles, etc. The quality of the products is always good. The service is good, too! Everyone is always helpful. Love it here!

Anywhere my wife and I travel, she seeks out the local HomeGoods store to forage through their merchandise for the latest deals and steals. This store, located in Lakewood, California, was a treasure trove and bursting with new items. It's packed to the rafters with merchandise, unlike the stores in Las Vegas. There were plenty of deals (not too many steals), my wife says. So much so that I had a hard time putting our luggage in the rear of our sizeable SUV when we returned home the other day. This store does a pretty good job of social distancing by counting the number of customers in and out. We had to wait a few minutes to get into the store while others department. The lines at HomeGoods are always long but move relatively quickly because they don't skimp on the number of cashiers. I even found several interesting items for myself, following my wife and mother-in-law around this store for over an hour. I guess maybe we'll have to get a larger SUV if we continue to travel. RECOMMENDED: Yes SERVICE: Good PRICE: $$ COVID: Practices pandemic regulations. PARKING: Convenient but very crowded. REASON/INTENT: Shopping

This is the cabinet I purchase it clearly shows 2 different tickets

The store is very clean, organized and spacious. The employees are very nice. I'm doing this review mainly because of the way I was treated as I was checking out. Delaney was the cashier who was at the check out, she presented me with some options which I took advantage of. She was very pleasant and walked me through the process. In doing so, I got 15% off of my purchase. Her customer service was exceptional and she made my shopping experience amazing and worthwhile. I normally drive past the store and tell myself that I need to go there to shop. Well, now it's definitely on my list.

I saw at the register check out Harry Potter chocolate frogs with a collectible card shelf tag 3.99 -- i buy all ten they have. After my daughter says thats 50% off what she gets them for at Universal studios The next day, we are in Costa Mesa and the store has a full box of frogs, and the shelf tag is 3.99 -- I buy the box of 24. The kid checking us out super nice but first day on the register, so they walking him through how to use the register. So when headed to the car with purchase i said i better check the receipt. Sure enough the harry potter frogs ring up at 4.99 not the tag of 3.99 -- they do price adjustment, and the manager tells the kid to take the tag down and she will print new ones for the price mistake. So now drive home, check the other receipt and its 4.99 not 3.99 and drive back to the store. The kid at the register calls on radio for G3 or something to the front must be code for manager. Tall 6 ft female manager says what is the issue, he tells her he has picture of shelf tag supposed to be 3.99 not 4.99 on 10 frogs. She then says where is this picture from, I tell her costa mesa store, as I caught the mistake while there. She rudely tells me 3 times, that if i do not have the picture of the shelf tag in her store she will not honor the price. She then says if Costa Mesa honored the price tag error that is on them. She continues saying they can scan the item with their phone to see it was a mistake. I tell her I didnt take a picture of the shelf tag, because I didnt know the day before they made same error. She said sorry nothing i will do for you. I call the customer service chat, and speak to Armando, who says he is sorry for the trouble in the store, but without a picture of the Lakewood store price mistake they will investigate it, but wont change things. I ask their representative do you take a picture of every shelf tag a store when your shopping ? NO he says, so how can your corporation think that without a price tag picture your S.O.L ! The harry potter caramel barrel and small jelly belly glass cup with butter bean jelly bellies were moved from the left to the right side of the display today. i wouldnt give a penny to this company anymore if thats their idea of protecting themselves from price mistakes! Horrible manager with zero customer service skills, and a phone customer service basically telling you we will elevate it but without photo proof you wont get any place. WOW Cost plus shame on you !

Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. There's not a big selection for men and kids as it was mainly a little sections. But pretty extensive collection for chinas and crystals. Woman's had the entire section for clothing and accessories. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Such sweetheart and major dolls. Chatting with them was so fun.
