i love coming into anthro to browse. sometimes i find a good buy and today was def a score! found some sunglasses thats perfect for summer! this location is always organized and has friendly staff that are willing to help and always get greeted upon entering the store. also has a nice view of the marina! their selection is good and the value is on the more pricier side. if you see something online/app , they can def order if avail and ship for free! they have a good sale section as well. parking: located on the 2nd level of 2nd & pch, next to grit. read more

Had a quick shopping trip and stopped here over Thanksgiving weekend since there was an extra 50% off sale items and I love browsing their home goods. It was our first visit here so we weren't sure how parking worked since there were paid garages nearby so we found a free spot across the street at the marina (though we also partly parked there to visit the farmers market happening at the same time). The store's located on the second floor and it was a good sized compared to other locations I've been to. I found some nice drinking glasses for upcoming holiday gifts and upon letting the cashier know, she used white out tape to cover up the price tag - a first for me and a very thoughtful gesture! She also let us know there were gift boxes by the door if the bags weren't to our liking. In short, great service! read more

This is my favorite Anthropologie store near me.. It is smaller and the people who work here are so welcoming.. they are ready to help in any way possible and they are warm and friendly, solution oriented and kind. There are two other Anthro stores closer to me and one has a manager who always makes me feel like she's about to get mad at me.. my stomach goes into a knot when I pull in the parking lot. There is another woman who works there who is AMAZING but this manager I reference is over her and one time my fav one and I were talking,, the mean manager eaves dropped and came down on my fav one for what we discussed. She was trying to be helpful to me and got shut down. The next time I came in the mean one made a beeline for me and that wasn't fun. The second one near me is just so big with so many people that it's hard to find the few I know when I go in there.. I like to have someone I know to reach out to instead of a new face all the time. In Long Beach, it is SO EASY to make friends with the staff and find a familiar face every time I go there. They seem so happy to see me every time and I feel like I am their top priority always. Maybe if you don't like attentive sales people, you might not like that but I'm sure if you just said thank you but I would like to browse on my own they would for sure give you space. Long Beach rocks!!!! And when I got an Anthro robe where the material had a defect and was really damaged, Long Beach made it right on the spot even tho I didn't notice it for a couple of months. Tags on, brand new never worn, but I bought it for a gift and had put it away. They were terrific and I didn't have to feel embarrased, worried or beg at all. It's like shopping with girlfriends! This is my favorite Anthropologie store in a 20 mile radius. The staff is always close by to help, style, match up outfits and go for different sizes. I always feel welcome here unlike some of the other stores. Best best store around! They will go way out of their way to help you no matter what you need. read more

The employees always hover over you as if you are going to steal something. It makes shopping here not enjoyable. I know Anthro has a history of issues with the way they treat customers but I thought it was resolved back in 2020. Guess not, too bad. It's so odd because I shop at free people and UO downstairs and NEVER feel bad shopping. Wish Anthropologie could get it together. read more

I love this amazing smelling store. It's a high class urban outfitters which is down below. I came to find a dress and I was able to see if it would fit. To my surprise it did. The ladies who work here are really nice. The prices are high but the quality is good. I would come back here. Pretty area to have the store in to. Very well maintained. read more

At first I was upset because I recieved a damaged item, and the phone customer service reps were awful. The redeeming experience- I went to exchange and Abby spared no time in making sure I was helped out. John paolo personally made sure I found the product for exchange in store and if you're lucky enough to share the same air with him consider yourself blessed. Sounds like buying furniture is not worth the trouble based on other reviews but the little things they take care of no problem. read more

If you are a person of color looking to shop comfortably, without management following you in the store THIS IS NOT THE STORE FOR YOU. While shopping for some unique kitchenware as a Christmas gift, what I presume to be the manager followed me the entire time making me very uncomfortable. This Anthropologie has very bad customer service. The manager today on 9-3-22 was super rigid with the return policy as I was returning a current full-price item with tags on and never worn, but didn't have a receipt and apparently when I bought it my "anthro perks" number wasn't put in. She wouldn't even reconcile with store credit. Not even a store credit?? You would think a chain of the size would be able to at least run your credit card that you paid with to see if it's on there. Apparently this is beyond their capability. There's no wifi there and you can't even search your emails to see if you can find the receipt. Beware of the brunette freckled manager- unless you are 100% sure you saved your receipt - even on current stuff. Update: I found my receipt. And returned it without issue. It would be nice however, if the management was trained to make customers feel they are being helped and welcome not just when they're spending money, but also trying to solve an issue. read more

I walked in yesterday (05/12) at 7:45, I was unaware the store closed at 8. As I walked in the "greeter" who was blonde said "just so you know we close in 10 minutes." Part of me really wanted to leave at this point but I needed a candle. I was rushing to find it and line up quickly to pay. After me, many more customers walked in and she greeted them nicely and did not give them the same reminder that was given to me. The customers that came in after me were not minorities, it almost seemed very targeted. The other employees were nice but this behavior spoke volumes. read more
