I love having Sister Day. Today we hit Home Goods which is one of our favorite haunts. If you need home decor, this is the place to go. They have lovely items and the prices really can't be beat. My sister got a beautiful centerpiece for her dining room table for only $40.00. I bought Zoe a puppy toy for only $5.99, a candle for $7.99. The gift bag prices are great and I got a 50"x60" SUPER soft throw for only $20.00. They only have one or two of each item, so if you don't find what you need, ask when they are getting a new shipment. We have never walked out of this store, empty handed. They have an organized checkout system and the employees are very nice. read more

I am a fan of this Homegoods! As with any Homegood it can be a bit hit or miss selection wise, but I always know what to expect. I got some great pillows there as well as a few things for the kitchen. I felt like the pet area was a bit slacking, but it was probably just the timing of my visit. I think the kitchen items are really some of the best deals there and are really reasonably priced. This is also a great place if you are looking for some holiday decor like Fall or Christmas. Now that the CDC has lifted the mask mandate for vaccinated people, Home Goods should rethink the hygiene strategy. To allow consumers to feel more welcome and excited about spending disposable income in the stores, the greeter at the front entrance should be less demanding and judging. If a consumer walks in and does not want to wear a mask, then either let them be or ask them to leave. The greeter is overly demanding, pressuring, and I witnessed a couple of all in ahead of me simply leave the store due to the pressure the greeter provided. Me, on the other hand, said no thank you and while the greeter continued to pressure I walked on ignoring the person. Home Goods is losing customers over this overly demanding greeter. read more

Very nice and clean HomeGoods! They have tons and tons of super cute house/apartment decorations and household supplies. Purchased good quality and well priced bed room furniture. Staff was incredibly friendly and helped me move the furniture in my car. Basically if you want a place to get stuff for your home or adorably, cute decorations definitely stop by this HomeGoods!! We checked this place out last week because we were looking to finish off our spare bedroom with some new knick knacks. After browsing around the wife bought a few things. if I had to describe the place I would start by saying it is a poor man's Bed Bath and Beyond. It's well laid out and organized, and has the perfect appeal. I love their choices of products. I've gotten everything from glasses, to tea, to organic kale chips, to lamps, to bathroom organizers, and sheets. No matter what your personal style preference is, they will have something for you. The best part about this place is their prices, and their level of customer service. All of the staff are kind and attentive, and their prices are unbeatable. The level of quality of products definitely makes it all worth it. Even if I'm not looking for anything in particular, I will come here on my lunch break to walk around. I always end up walking away with something. Oh, and just an FYI, they now have a rewards program implemented. I can get lost in this store for hours! I am overly excited that they are coming into Greensboro. This store is pretty much the tjmaxx for typical house items or home goods! I was blown away when I saw a keurig vue for $99!! This coffee maker is usually almost $200 if not over at other retail stores. Aside from small appliances they have a lot of linens, pillows, rugs, and everything you can think of to decorate your home. This is a place that has pretty decent-looking stuff that is actually pretty reasonably priced. I find myself heading here especially with unique home items that either aren't always findable at typical places like Target or WalMart but that also won't set me back too much. I've gotten some kitchen wares there that were pretty unique and handy and sturdy--and at a great price--as well as a couple of sets of bath towels and mats that were very soft/felt good and were not outrageously expensive. I'm not that great at 'decorating' and I think people who are into having nice touches here and there will find lots to choose from. The inventory rotates so what you find one time may not be what they're offering another time. The ratio of price to appearance (and perhaps quality?) is good enough for me to give them 4 stars. read more
