We have used Home Shield Pest Control for both of our properties for several years. We are on a regular service program with them. It's very reasonable and I appreciate that they call before they are scheduled to come to the property. When they arrive, they knock and introduce themselves and confirm what pests we are concerned with at that time. We normally just have them spray outside, but they will come inside if needed at no additional cost. We find that keeping the pests under control outside reduces the need for indoor treatment. Jonathan, Came by this afternoon and sprayed inside and outside the house, all the balcony, and stairs, and outside areas. Excellent education about the 2 types of ants, and why he does not recommend baiting the ants with pest control food inside. He knows his craft, and the smell of the pest control was not overpowering, nor lethal to us. I have used them once before and am now on a quarterly schedule. When we went outside we found trails of ants around the garage, and stairs, so he baited those areas, no sense in baiting them inside, the whole premise is to keep them outside. There are so many spiders, not the black ones, in the area between the roof and the wall since I have a flat roof. The webs are all over the place, on my plants, on the umbrella, on the patio chairs and table, etc. I find this company from the Yelp and called it. They schedule a young man from Newport Beach right away. The young man did a good job but left a bit to complete. When I called back, they just scheduled another one right away, no issues at all.
