I would not give ANY STARS IF POSSIBLE. I am from out of town staying in a hotel that is 1.6 miles from their restaurant on Kenwood Abe Baltimore, MD. That is right 1.6 miles AWAY!!! I called them to ask if they would deliver to the hotel and they said they do not. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! they can deliver anywhere downtown but cannot drive 1.6 miles to deliver here? So good! If you're looking for a pizza place that offers more than your standard cheese and pepperoni, this is it. In addition to some really yummy specialty pizzas, Homeslyce also offers calzones, slyces (pizza folded into a boat shape), amazing appetizers (highly recommend the bruschetta!), and they have a full bar. There are two levels with the upper level hosting skeeball and beer pong tournaments. They also host several sports teams from the area on weekdays so there is always people having a good time without being too overcrowded. Best of all... My boyfriend and I ate at homeslyce for an early dinner. I've ate at the fed location but he had never ate there at all before. I ordered the homeslyce 10" classic and my boyfriend had the pop pie 10". Both were great! I liked the classic better than his but on both pizzas the crust was so good and the pizza cooked perfectly. You would think "classic" would just be a standard pizza sauce and cheese but not theirs. It had homeslyce sauce, goat and mozzarella cheese, eggplant, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions and walnuts. I loved the crunch the walnuts gave and all the flavors really worked. We both had leftovers so sharing one 10" pizza is possible but I'm kinda glad we got leftovers for later :) read more

The sandwich bread is baked fresh on site with their pizza dough and was perfect. It was thin - not full of excess dough - and flavorful. I got the hummus sandwich and the portabella mushroom sandwich. Both of these were very tasty. There was a side salad which had a pesto like dressing. Normally I usually ask for no dressing, but I forgot this time and it was worth. IT CAME WITH BAKED SEASONED FRIES!! Baked and not fried is standard for this place which is refreshing! What a great treat on a Super Bowl day when most people are eating greasy fries. The Yummy Yummy sauce by the way is just thousand island with some spice. SERVICE: Ordered through eat24. 3.5 would have been handy for this place. I liked their pizza and we also ordered a delicious nachos appetizer made with chick pea chips. The servers were friendly but there seemed to be a little miscommunication between servers and our drinks were not refilled as promptly as we wished. At one point, the manager was getting our drinks and I realized this restaurant has the same owner as Cazbar whose food I absolutely love. I wish they offer more Cazbar'ish food at this location. I was truly impressed with their baba ganoush with fresh basil and just the right amount of garlic. The bread was fresh and tasty. The pizza with vegan cheese and pineapple was perfect. My friends who live in Baltimore love this place and it's right around the corner from them. They go here for drinks, dinner, and for their skeeball league. We went for the same...a little of everything. The whole upstairs portion of the place was empty and we had our drinks and played some skeeball there. The woman who served us was awesome and super friendly. The pizzas were delicious...it took me a little time to decide what I wanted because there were so many options and 'make-your-own' pizzas that it was hard to decide. I went with a ricotta meatball basil pizza and it was amazing. Pretty inexpensive for a really good size personal portion - 10". The salad 'slyce' that my friend got looked awesome too. I highly recommend going here for a casual, semi divey, and delicious experience. We ate outside and it was awesome. The weather was beautiful and it was an added bonus to our night. read more

This Homeslyce is the Canton location of the quickly-growing local chain. Like the other locations, it has a very relaxed feel, although I think the rustic/industrial decorating theme is a little forced here. The bar level is a little on the cramped side, but there is a seating area upstairs as well as tables outside on the sidewalk. They do have a great beer selection and the pizza at Homeslyce is always fantastic. There is a Skeeball machie upstairs, but I never did find out what you redeem the tickets for.
