They insist on doing all communication on a proprietary platform, which requires you establish a login (a truly unnecessary annoyance for simple questions containing no sensitive information). I attempted to give feedback by phone, and admittedly I was annoyed, but my sole point of contact Elmer repeatedly interrupted me in the process, talking over me, to tell me I was wrong. Realizing he had no interest in either my question or my feedback, I hung up before I even got the answer because I was getting angry. I recognize Elmer is an attorney, and is listed in his email signature as such, and as the GM so I'm guessing he has a higher opinion of what he has to say than what a customer is asking. In my opinion, he was condescending, and uninterested in feedback, about a friction point in a key part of the customer experience. This is the first time I've ever given a one star review, but I would absolutely not recommend.

Any decent escrow company/officer would have answered questions promptly and sent the forms ahead of time so we'd be prepared. Furthermore, they sent a notary to my house who announced that she was unvaccinated (by choice)!! We have a 5 yr old who CAN'T be vaccinated yet so having an unvaccinated person come to our house and sit at our kitchen table for an hour puts our child at risk. It was awkward and we were put on the spot to complete a signing we were uncomfortable with. Overall a very bad experience. Steer clear of CW Title and Escrow.

The townhome was great, but unfortunately, another applicant applied for the unit the night before we met, so the timing didn't work out. After we toured the property, Katie was kind enough to show me another home nearby, and went above and beyond, by searching for other properties in the area managed by Maple Leaf. I decided to not move at this time, but am grateful for all of Katie's help and hope to work with her and Maple Leaf Property Management in the future.

When I moved in I told them there was a hole in the outside wall, near the kitchen window. For the next 1.5 years I told them and they had their own inspectors take pictures of it. Despite this, they only made a move to fix it once I reported them to the city. The whole time I lived there I was told that all of my things molding was my fault (including 2 beds!). I was told to leave my cupboard doors and drawers open to prevent mildew in the kitchen. The dehumidifier I requested would fill up at the end of each day. When they finally opened the wall to fix the hole, there was black/wet insulation and they had to replace half of the kitchen's 2x4's, and the workers found another hole with earth worms living in the kitchen under the dishwasher. Despite having 5 different workers out to deal with the hole and earth worms, this was never fixed by the time I moved out. And then, 2 weeks before I moved out there was water dripping out of the bathroom ceiling fan. They opened it up to find a leak that had to be going on for at least a year because the insulation was again black and the wood was moldy. They did not fix this before I moved out. I just had to live with a hole in the ceiling above the shower... Then they illegally withheld $750 from my deposit. They didn't follow the law by detailing the reasons for withholding this amount. They simply printed out a screenshot of text messages with their handyman giving an estimate on two projects. Thankfully I was able to recover the deposit since they do not know the law or how to do their jobs. There is so much more, but this should suffice as a warning. Lastly, their own employees bad mouth each other. Highly unprofessional and shows the do not even follow basic respect standards. Disgusting, gaslighting, lying, and incompetent company. Steer clear!

Not to mention a person had passed away with water running in the unit next to her and caused water damage to her lower restroom which the previous owning group did not bother to replace when asked so we got charged $800 for that as well. Prior to the sale, the condo had been rented for a decade, and it was managed by Rob and team for the first 9 of those years. Rob was consistently on top of things - whenever issues arose, he had solutions ready immediately. I only truly appreciated how easy and smooth Rob made my role when WPM suddenly replaced my property's manager, and the problems started. I won't be making that mistake again - when I have real estate needs, I'll be calling RGRG!
