I always peruse the selections but one combination always stands out as a winner. This time it was cheesecake and oreo cookie. And, as typical I put some shivered almonds and sprinkles on top, with this time adding some butterscotch chips too. The only thing that is a slight concern is all the grubby hands touching the controls on the dispensers. Have hand sanitizer handy. The yogurt is always refreshing and tasty. Health wise is frozen yogurt better than ice cream? Supposedly. Whatever, it's still good. Service is upbeat and cordial, and certainly willingly helpful. They always greet customers coming in, and ask if you want samples to decide a choice. It is charged by weight and it seemed a bit expensive, $15.75 for two medium sized containers, but worth it. With the weather warming up today, Home Spun was the perfect choice! Even though this place gets busy, it's a fantastic spot in Lincoln for a treat. They have so many frozen yogurt flavors to choose from. Hubby usually sticks with the Vanilla Bean and loads up on toppings, and today I tried the Coconut Banana, which was delicious. Workers are proactive and always ask if you'd like to sample any flavors. Plus, even during the rush, the self-serve area is always kept clean. This place used to be nice, but it is in need of a good cleaning. Look around you when you go - cobwebs hanging from the lights, dirty dusty fans, the trash can in the bathroom was really gross, and the table covers are peeling off the table and sticky. It's giving off a very dingy vibe. The yogurt was not as good as other frozen yogurt places and even my kids noticed it, which is saying a lot, since they're not very picky about frozen yogurt! I wish this place the best, but it's kind of getting ick and they need to do a revamp. read more

I was just in the shop and an extremely rude lady was upset about the hot fudge. I guess it didn't meet her standards and she gave both workers a hard time and threatened them with a bad review. I watched the entire interaction and there was a point where the workers just couldn't do anything to make her happy. They even offered her a new yogurt. Still she was extremely unpleasant. Great job to the girls for offering an appology and trying to fix it. People need to understand that it isn't the workers that things should be taken out on. They offer what they can. Every single time we walk we get greeted by one of the friendly staff .They are always asking if anybody wants any samples they are super nice about it and stick around if you need any help. Walked into the cutest little yogurt shop. The staff was super friendly and they have so many options to choose from. My husband got the coffee gelato and I got the vanilla bean. I've been a customer of this place in the past and ALWAYS LOVE the yogurt here but I never knew the story behind it. I happened to be the first person who walked in this shop today. One of the owners was there and he was running a little behind..... No big deal. I was the only one there and wasn't in a rush. Well he still had to count the register and handed me a bunch of little cups to sample the flavors. He apologized several times which I told him not to. After counting the register quickly he was just full of energy, happy as can be and was proud of his shop (Well I think its more of his wife's shop because he just raves about how hard working she is). As a matter of fact he told me how his wife custom makes each flavor and not only does she creates these to die for yogurts, she strives to perfect them and revamps some of the flavors by adding other ingredients!! I was really impressed and AMAZED at her determination of perfecting each flavor! After tasting each one I was in a bind in choosing just one flavor. All of them were DEVINE! They even had pineapple sorbet which is SOOOOO ON POINT with the one they sell in Honolulu and Disneyland!! Its such a fun cheerful spot and they even have a corner set up for photo ops! The owner was just awesome and full of personality. He really made my day by just being himself, being super kind, and enthusiastic about coming to work. Now that's hands down the crem de la crem of customer service. And to top it off, he told me that the yogurt was on him!! I was in awe. I truly didn't expect it and even told him that I wanted to pay for it. He didn't take my money but made me an everlasting loyal customer! Thank you again for your generosity!!
