Such a cute little coffee shop! The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the homemade carrot cake was SO good. All the baked looked so yummy. It was hard to choose! They also had a great outdoor patio! I believe he was the owner, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Those little touches and genuine kindness make such a difference! I always love supporting local businesses, and this is definitely one I'll be coming back to. Great drinks and delicious baked goods. A spot to bring the whole family with plenty of non coffee options for kids or non coffee folks. Okay this is actually the best coffee I've had in a while - maybe because I haven't indulged in a sweet drink in a while, maybe because it was $6.25 for a 20oz with almond milk...or maybe because it's just that good! They use Veneli's beans and it's so smooth but rich. Staff are friendly and the inside has basic calm soft jazz. Some outdoor seating and inside too + WiFi. Feeling really calm & lucky I found this place! They do have chobanis, pastries, bagels, and small breakfast sandwiches for food. read more

I've heard of this spot, driven by this spot.... But never stopped! I was in the area for an appt so made sure to allow time to pop in and check it out. It's super cute and clean inside. Lots of seating available inside and a nice shaded seating space out front. I was there to grab a coffee for an afternoon pick me up.... But noticed they did have yummy looking pastries available too. The gentleman behind the counter was welcoming and kind. He took my order.... An iced oatmilk latte with brown sugar and vanilla syrups. This is pretty much my go to drink (so it's easy to compare from place to place) it was delicious.... So creamy, not too sweet with the syrups and could still enjoy the coffee flavor. I'll definitely be back !! read more

I prefer supporting family owned coffee shops and restaurants and came across this gem while looking for anything but starbucks. The guy serving us which im assuming was the owner is such a sweet person that literally pours in soul into what he does and how he serves. Super clean spot! I got the sausage sandwich, gluten free banana bread, and my new favorite the Mexican mocha! I loved it all. Highly recommend and support your local family owned businesses! read more

We love trying local coffee shops and we finally popped into this hidden gem. Not only do they serve great coffee, smoothies, pastries and even ice cream they also give back to the local community. We ordered coffee, mango smoothie, a breakfast sandwich and blueberry muffin and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful with drink suggestions. It's a cute little spot and loved the ambiance it was so peaceful and home like. Seriously this is the cutest coffee shop. I went with a neighbor just to sit and chat. I order a hot matcha with blue berry muffin. It was so good. They play light music and the staff were welcoming. So many families were comming in also. They had plenty of room to spread out and spend time with love ones. Definitely recommend to come back. read more

Wow! What a great new coffee shop/cafe in Lincoln. Convenient parking and so easily accessible. The place is very beautifully done with indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is sparkling clean and so well designed, comfortable and lots of good choices for both coffee, other beverages and pastries. I understand that sandwiches will come soon. I had a 16oz latte and it was perfectly made and the coffee very good quality. This is definitely a great addition to our city. Mark the manager is awesome, and so friendly and accommodating. I saw this place when I drove around the neighborhood. I stopped by after my son's baseball game . This location is very close to Mcbean park where on the weekends it's packed with games. As soon as they saw my son in uniform they asked if he wanted a complementary ice cream cone . The lady said the kiddos in uniform get a free ice cream cone so nice . She said u deserve it buddy after your game . Once inside it was a very cozy cute set it . Very modern and chic . They offer amazing homemade pastries . We had the blueberry bread , donut and some quiche. They were all so delicious. My kiddos got hot chocolate and I got a latte . I wish it came in a cup not a to go cup but it's not a big deal . The ladies that helped us were so nice and attentive. The vibe inside is very peaceful . They have a prayer board I thought that was very sweet . When sitting down enjoying our drinks, we saw a hummingbird on the window it was so cool . They also have a nice outside seating area . We enjoyed our time here . We will be back . I visited this place randomly when I was in the area and I had remembered seeing it mentioned on a local FB group. It looks like a house from the outside so you may miss it if you're not looking closely. There is ample seating inside and outside. The seating in front has umbrellas and there is picnic table seating in grass in the side of the building. The inside is open and clean. It has a ton of seating even though it's a small space. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have gluten-free and lactose-free snacks. I ordered a gluten-free blueberry coffee cake that was still moist the following day. I also ordered an iced oat milk lavender white mocha and it was so good. I would say the prices are reasonable. The two women that were working when I came in were friendly, but when I walked in they finished their conversation and didn't greet me. I hadn't been there before so I just went straight to looking at the menu. Also if there is spillage on the drink, I would have expected staff to take the initiative to clean it. (Although I had a napkin and didn't mind much). Due to those reasons, I'm not giving a full 5 stars. read more

Must try!! On my quest to find the Best Independent Coffee Shop in the Sacramento Region...I may have found it! In fact, it currently holds my #1 Ranking. What a breath of fresh air East Ave Cafe is! You walk in into the freshly appointed shop and are instantly greeted by a barista. Not only instantly, but sincerely greeted making you feel welcomed as a guest of theirs. The interior is all brand new and clean feeling. Subtle music playing with plenty of places to sit. The menu is straightforward with enough choices but not too many. I ordered a large Cold Brew with toffee crunch syrup. Finally an independent shop that doesn't have the sour, fruity tasting coffee that most do in the Sac region. Lastly, and most originally, this is a Christian coffee shop where the proceeds help an adjacent church. Anyone would be welcomed, seen, and valued here though, MUCH more so than the Starbucks. read more

Rode out to Lincoln this morning to try a couple of coffee shops. This was a cute little shop on the outskirts of downtown- clean and tidy indoor and outdoor. I had a "cold brew iced coffee" that was pretty much an iced americano- a couple of shots pulled from the machine and then poured over ice with cold water. This was fine I guess... but iced coffee is a year round venture in northern Sacramento area so I would say maybe have a bit better of an iced coffee execution read more

I wanted to give this cafe a try after seeing it on yelp, and I'm so glad I did! I got a mexican mocha (left) and a toffee crunch latte (right), both with oat milk and iced! They were both really good, personally I liked the mexican mocha more. I like my coffee a little sweeter so it was perfect for me, I do wish the oat milk was a little creamier. The milk preference can be changed without charge (for now at least). The price for both drinks was $11, which is great considering other coffee places are about $7-$8 per latte. There were places to sit inside and out, and it was decorated nicely. I'll definitely be back, make sure to give them a try!!! read more

Loved everything we tried here! My wife loves the matcha latte and I've tried several other drinks. Favorite is the Mexican Mocha! The mini quiche are great as well! Great to be able to support a local business and they're a non-profit that supports multiple causes. read more

Very nice people. Mark, who appeared to be the main one in charge was so so nice and friendly. I loved that had a good variety of pastries from different local bakers. They use Vanelis coffee beans which I had been wanting to try for a long time. It was good quality coffee for sure but both my husband and I felt our espresso based drinks were weak. I was super disappointed in the brands of milk they carried though. I usually get oat milk lattes but they use Califa in which the second ingredient on the bottle is sunflower oil. That's a known inflammatory seed oil. So I said no to that. Then I asked what brand their milk was and I was kind of surprised to hear it was Walmarts great value brand. I just wish they offered a better option for milk. I got an americano and said I wanted cream in it and the lady said they'd make sure to leave room in the cup so I could add it. But when I got the drink it was full to the brim. So I had to dump some out in the trash can. The half and half on the floor was also almost empty. No biggie, just a few inconveniences that would be nice to not deal with when paying a lot for coffee these days. I do love that this is a non profit coffee shop that is led by the church. They seem to have great values. I was excited to see a new coffee shop in Lincoln as we don't have enough good options quite frankly. But probably won't be back anytime soon. read more
