I've been coming here regularly with an unlimited membership and usually wash my car 2-5 times a week. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the wash, and the staff does a good job. The biggest downside is the constant upselling. Almost every visit, employees try to sell additional services. It's also frustrating when the line stops because they're having a long sales conversation with another customer while everyone else has to wait. Other than that, the experience has been good, and the membership has been worth it. I hope they'll make the sales process less intrusive and keep the line moving. read more

Very Disappointing Experience I had a really disappointing experience at Classic Car Wash at 18560 Prospect Rd in Saratoga. When I first arrived, I was told I needed to pay $40 because I had received a discount, and I didn't fully understand what they were explaining. I went inside and asked an employee to clarify. She explained that it was a membership, where the first payment was around $40 and then there would be a monthly charge depending on the car wash service. I ended up paying $50 for the car wash and even gave a $15 tip because it was my first visit and I wanted to give them a chance. Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. One of my main priorities was getting the mud and dirt cleaned from inside the car, including the floor mat area. When I asked the manager why it had not been cleaned, I was told that this service was not included and that I would need to pay an additional $70. I was shocked that simply cleaning the mud from inside the car would cost $70 more, especially after already paying $50 for the car wash. The total cost would have been far more than I expected for a basic wash of a Toyota Corolla. What disappointed me even more was the lack of an effort to find a reasonable solution. I would have appreciated being offered the opportunity to have the area cleaned properly or being given some reasonable option to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning. I also would not recommend this location to others. I went to Classic Car Wash at the Westgate/Saratoga location this morning after it was highly recommended to me, and unfortunately I left extremely disappointed. I arrived at around 9:20 a.m. The sales process itself was uncomfortable. The salesperson was very pushy about adding additional services and repeatedly tried to upsell me. I ended up agreeing to various add-ons and paying nearly $220, considerably more than I had originally intended to spend. Given the amount I was paying, I expected the car to be cleaned extremely well. I was told the service would take approximately an hour, but my car was ready in roughly 30 minutes. I didn't stand there inspecting every inch before leaving. However, when I arrived at work and had the opportunity to look at the car properly, I was genuinely shocked by how much had been missed. There was still loose dirt, crumbs, hair and debris in the carpets, around the seats and mats, along the door sills and in various interior areas and crevices. There were also obvious areas missed on the exterior. I'm attaching photographs because they show the condition of the car far better than I can describe it. These photos were taken immediately after I arrived at work following the cleaning, not days later. I understand that someone can occasionally miss a small spot when cleaning a vehicle. This wasn't one overlooked spot. There were multiple visibly uncleaned areas throughout the vehicle. What makes this particularly disappointing is that Classic Car Wash came highly recommended, which is why I chose them and was prepared to pay for a premium service. After being heavily upsold and spending nearly $220, I certainly didn't expect to get to work and start finding crumbs, hair, dirt and debris still in the car. I also don't have my itemized receipt because their staff retained it when I collected the vehicle. For nearly $220, this simply wasn't the standard of service I expected. I recently visited Classic Car Wash for the first time and chose the $109 package because my company vehicle hadn't been washed since February. The exterior came out looking great, and I appreciated that an employee took the time to inspect the paint and explain that there was contamination on the surface. I didn't feel pressured when I declined the additional clay bar treatment, which I appreciated. That said, I expected a little more attention to detail for the price. The cup holders were still dirty after the service, and there were a few interior areas that appeared to have been overlooked. For a premium package, I expected those small details to be included without having to go back and clean them myself. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the exterior wash was well done. However, I don't feel the $109 package provided enough additional value over a less expensive wash. I would likely choose one of the lower-priced packages in the future unless the premium package includes a more thorough interior cleaning. read more

I brought my new Cadillac in to get it waxed. When I got home there are swirl marks all over my car that were never there. Remember this is a new car. Bottom of the bumper in the front there are huge swirl marks that have taken away the paint. Extremely disappointed and angry. I talked to them about it and they denied everything. Don't ever go there and have them wax your car unless you want to have swirl marks all over your paint job! Also scratches in the paint that we're not there. read more

I hate this place! After my daughter had her car washed. She and my two granddaughters had their seatbelts on getting ready to leave the parking lot when an employee slammed into the back of them with another customer's car pushing them out onto prospect Road across three lanes of traffic up over the median, where she hit another car. Her car is totaled! I'm sure the other car that the employee was driving that slammed into her is also totaled. Thank God, my family is OK and the oncoming traffic from Lawrence and prospect was stopped. This accident could have been horrific! Classic car wash is only paying for my daughter's deductible and a rental car for a week. Do not support this business. They do not care about the customer. They're only getting people in and out of there as fast as they possibly can. Makes my stomach sick every time I drive by there to think of how horrible this accident could've been. Simply getting her car washed on a Sunday afternoon to have it totaled and classic car wash is taking very little responsibility. Do not support this business. read more

I cannot recommend Classic Car Wash on Prospect after what they put my elderly grandmother through. She went in for what should have been a routine visit and ended up spending nearly two hours there after being talked into signing up for a $55/month membership and a nearly $400 detailing service. She was there so long that my aunt had to pick her up and take her home while the detail was being completed. When she was finally called to pick up her car, she got home and realized everything from her glove compartment was missing. This wasn't just a couple of inexpensive items. They lost: * Her disabled parking placard * Vehicle registration * Insurance information * Expensive charging cables * Other personal belongings The chargers can be replaced. That's not the real issue. The real issue is that my grandparents' full names, birthdates, driver's license numbers, home address, insurance information, and vehicle registration are now potentially in the hands of a complete stranger. My grandmother now has to spend her own time and money replacing DMV documents and dealing with her disabled placard because of their mistake. When she returned to the car wash, she was told, "Maybe we put it in the wrong car. We'll review the footage and call you sometime tomorrow or next week." To make matters worse, she was initially told they wouldn't refund the detailing service because the work had already been completed. That response was unbelievable. Losing a customer's personal property--especially sensitive documents--is not a minor inconvenience. It's a serious breach of trust. I went back to speak with the detail manager and explained that this wasn't simply about misplaced chargers. This involved personal identifying information that could expose my grandparents to fraud or identity theft. I also told him I felt my grandmother had been taken advantage of by being upsold hundreds of dollars in services she never came in intending to purchase. Instead of taking ownership, the detail manager initially stood by the decision not to issue any refund because "the service was completed." I had to push for the issue to be escalated to the general manager. Only after speaking with the general manager did they agree to refund the $394 detailing charge and commit to reviewing the security footage that evening and contacting us the following day. While I appreciate that the general manager ultimately made things right financially, that doesn't erase the stress, inconvenience, or potential security risk they created. My grandmother still has to replace her DMV registration, deal with obtaining a new disabled placard, and worry about the fact that her personal information is now missing because of their negligence. The refund was the right decision, but it should never have required escalating the issue to the general manager. This entire situation was completely avoidable, and no customer--especially an elderly one--should have to go through something like this. They need to examine their process for removing items from vehicles during full detail cleanings, and have some sort of system in place where a corresponding number on the items to the ticket should be inspected and cross checked multiple times.. read more

I've been a customer here for 20 years, so it's honestly really disappointing to see how much this place has changed over the past few years. They seem to constantly change their membership "policies" and pricing, so definitely check what you're being charged every so often. When I called about my membership, the customer service person was extremely rude and flat-out gave me information that wasn't true. Then when I questioned it, I was told that because of a "policy change," my contract had changed and I would now have to pay the new price. I'm not sure how you can change the terms of someone's contract without even notifying them, but here we are. Such a shame. Really unhappy with this place. I had a membership so I had gone back a few times. The first few times, they were detail oriented and careful. The last couple of times I went, I noticed that I started losing little things - a keychain, an earring, a cute air freshener. When I asked them about it, they were nonchalant and told me there's nothing they can do about it. They asked me to call back in case anything is found in lost and found. I called and they told me to call back again for a different manager. This happened three times, all telling me to call back for a different person. Otherwise, the cleaning is done sloppily. The car is always wet outside after and I have found spots after that were not cleaned at all. Everytime I've gone, we have to go through the same exercise where they try to convince me to upgrade my membership or get an extra wax with the "special pricing of the day". Came here for a $50 interior and exterior BASIC car wash. I wasn't satisfied with the amount of money that you pay for the cleaning. There was still dust on the outside of the glove compartment area ( that could have been easily wiped off with their cloth). And they didn't bother to clean the seats( who knows maybe that's extra? ) Basically this is super overpriced for what you get. It is a quick turnaround I'll give them that. I agreed what a great deal! Went inside to work out the logistics and pay and they told me there was no such deal. The cashier woman who looks like an angry Pam from the office gave me a lot of attitude and asked if I wanted that salesperson to come in to clear things up like... yes? They acted like i was being difficult for holding up the line. The sales person just ignored the radio call! Why would I pay for everything up front--if you told me the first month was free? While the service has been good, I am getting tired of the aggressive upsell. It's not enough to pay $60/month or whatever. You have to say no to expensive additions. And not just once - usually 4 or 5 times. "Are you sure you don't want..." . If you're not careful they will sell you an extra $200-$500 package of whatever .. I don't understand why they removed it with cutting it off. I didn't use it again until two months later, even though they were charging me every month then I went back recently and I got a detailed wash again after two months I noticed the device was missing altogether. I confronted it and got a manager and nothing was done. They said well if you could prove it so this isn't the first time things have been, missing from this particular car wash, but it was just little things now they took a device that gives me my GPS to put into my car now that's been removed and now no one's playing attention to it so I called the main office because I went to go use some of the coupons on another car and they said oh your Five coupons are no longer available because they're expired. I called the main office to see if I could get new ones since you guys have been charging me every month and I haven't been using it. I'm not getting any help my answer to this place. I am an old customer at the prospect road location. While I am Ok with the cleaning provided for my car, I find that the aggressive push to sell more expensive services is getting out of hand. Even if i tell the staff not to pursue their sales pitch, they do not stop, resulting in me feeling that I am getting harassed every time I go there. The local manager says it is their job to push customers to spend on more expensive services when they come for a wash and they can't do anything about it. I made them record in my account not to solicit additional business. However no one cares about it. I have had a membership here for a while. Not a bad deal if you use. $60 a month for a couple detailed washes and a few drive through quick washes, if you use it. But every time I go they always try and up sell me something. A wax or something usually to the tune of a $100. "Normally its $149 but I'll can give it to for $100 today." Been a classic car wash member since 2015 (10) years since they installed the fast pass system. Original unlimited monthly rate was 16.99 for the highest wash. Through out the years they started taking away perks like the extra rinse and then the lava wash and the wheel clean and wax. I've been fine with just a basic wash and dry for the 16.99 price. Past 2 months they changed my rate to $25 without telling me via email, phone and in person. I talked to membership services and they would not change it at all even for a loyal customer that's been on the plan for 10 years. I bought a 1-month pass for $49, I believe. At the time, it seemed like a good deal since I could get my exterior washed weekly and 2 inside/out. Sadly, it cost me way more than $49 for the damage to my car. When I brought my car in, it had some fading paint on the roof, and like a cancer, the more I brought it in, the more it spread. One woman who worked there said that it was common on older cars and Nissans, like my Altima (2012). Well, I told the manager, if that's the case, then they should disclose that to the customer before taking their car through the car wash. He said that they can't take responsibility for everything. I disagree! I went back and spoke with a couple of managers, and sadly, they didn't take responsibility. I was shocked! I asked to see the video they have of my car when I first bought it in and they took a while, and the only one they could show me was of the small patch of fading to the front of the car on the roof. He is not the nicest and when an issue occurred and CCW was clearly at fault, he agreed, but still brushed me off. Almost frustrating enough to cancel, but since I'm otherwise satisfied, I kept the membership. I've been satisfied with almost all of my full service washes. But the hard sell for additional services when you first enter needs to stop. I have the monthly membership and am aware of the extra services. If I want them, I will ask. OR, staff can just simply ask, 'are there any other services you would like to have today?' That's all. Great hand wash car wash! I usually go through the drive though ones for convenience but the difference is very noticeable. They did an amazing job car feels brand new There's a large selection of drinks and snacks inside where you go in to pay and they have tables and benches to hang out while you wait. Only wish I had a before and after picture of the car but the windows were so clean I thought they were rolled down . When you pull up they'll review the menu options and I let them know the inside windows were just so dirty because I wasn't getting them cleaned and so they could tell me which package was right for me. Then you go inside to pay and they'll give you a receipt to give back when your car is done so they know you've paid and are good to go. Already have friends wanting to go. read more

We have a membership here and they do a descent job, not the greatest but what can you expect for the price right? My issue is their constant annoyance of upselling other services even after you say no politely. They keep trying to get you to spend more money. If this happens again we will cancel our membership and going elsewhere. The reviews speak for themselves but they are incredibly lucky they are located in a prime location. I hope the service gets better. Part of it I think is they pump out way too many cars too fast. The service and the quality tends to go down the drain when this happens. read more

Callous, horrid service. I should have known when the employee's face immediately dropped and got cold when I denied signing up for the offer he was promoting. I got an external + interior wash ($49.99). Disclaimer: I was using my friend's credit so I didn't have to pay - if I had to pay that I would have been even more annoyed. I have a crocheted piece hanging from yarn from my car mirror. When I inspected my car, I found it missing and saw a cut piece of yarn on my car front seat floor. Furious, I asked someone where the crocheted gift had gone and they said they didn't know. I checked the back of my car and thank goodness it was on the floor. But then I see my dirt-tracked running shoes that were on my back seat floor ON my back seat. When asked why both my mirror piece was cut off without informing me and shoes were on my seat, the employee referenced a sign that said things had to be cleared out. I understand that but you really had to cut off the yarn that barely makes contact with the mirror to clean it?! And without an ounce of seeming apologetic? The hypocrisy of his statement showed where I had accidentally left a jacket belt in my trunk, and that was still in my trunk after the service. Your excuse for cutting off my mirror piece and putting my shoes on my seat was that the employees "needed to clean" the area. But clearly, you could clean my trunk properly despite my having left a piece of clothing in there. And now that my shoes left shoe prints on my seat, you had to wipe it down to me. Does that seem like good hygiene and efficiency for a car wash?! In addition to those two things, they missed 2 obvious spots on the back of my front seat where there was dried up dog saliva (from taking the dog panting) as well as instant ice that was left in my car handle. I strongly discourage others from visiting this establishment - both you and your car will be treated with the utmost disrespect. I came by early afternoon this past Sunday, and while it was quite busy, the service was quick and easy. There are around 4 lanes you can pull into depending on the service you are looking for. I was here for the most basic car wash that includes the interior cleaning, which comes to around $39. Luckily, I had saved a coupon from the back of my Safeway receipt and saved $3 off of that. Upon pulling into the lane, and worker greeted me and enthusiastically tried to sell me the subscription service. I was really firm in my response and they backed off pretty quick. Make sure to open the trunk and let them know you want them to clean the trunk area as well, as it's complimentary. The car wash and cleaning took around 15-20 minutes. Paying at the counter was seamless, and the cashier handed me 2 complimentary air fresheners that I could put underneath the front seats. The workers are very detailed and after inspecting my car, I didn't see any bird poop stains/dust or anything. Make sure to tip the workers in cash! read more
