This company has been spraying the Exterior of Paradise Aviation for many years now. This is a Hangar community of eight different companies. Paradise Aviation is part of the Harry Reid Airport. No complaints about their Service. They show up every month. I haven't noticed any critters outside lately except the birds that are hunting moths here, earlier in the Spring. I have two homes they were servicing and I haven't received a text alert for my other home so when I called they said that they've been out there twice. I said we have cameras all over the property, the technician wasn't caught on camera and Pamela said that my cameras blipped off. I've been a loyal customer for several years, but I'm extremely disappointed with the recent rate increase. I used to pay $80, and my recent rate is now $118--an astronomical jump! This steep increase came without any improvements or additional services. Paying significantly more for the same basic pest control feels completely unjustified and makes it seem like the company is taking advantage of its customers. The technicians have always been courteous and effective, but the new prices are simply not reasonable for routine service. I understand costs can rise, but this increase is far beyond what I'd expect. As a result, I've canceled my service and chosen another company that offers better value. I hope management reconsiders their pricing structure or at least provides more communication or added value for long-standing clients. Until then, I cannot recommend HomeTeam Pest Defense. I encourage every customer to review the value and service they are receiving, as there are many other companies offering great service at better prices. TAKE NOTE OF ALL THE PRICING AND BILLING REVIEWS FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS. I strongly caution any current or prospective customers to think twice before setting up service. Their billing and pricing practices are awful. They raise rates steadily, steeply and without notice. And I'm not talking $5 for inflation. I'm talking $20-$30 every 6-12 months for what is essentially the same service. They also will solicit you for unwanted services for additional money via text message. When you express concerns about pricing they simply ignore or gloss over your concerns. IMPORTANT: they will attempt to schedule your bi-monthly service MUCH sooner than scheduled and think you won't catch it. On multiple occasions, they have tried to schedule service 2-3 weeks sooner. I believe this is an intentional practice in order to increase frequency and make more money off of customers. HomeTeam is all about diminishing returns - you pay more and more and get nothing more in return. read more

Not completely satisfied. After multiple treatments for ants they just kept returning in larger amounts. They came out twice to repeat treatment and the 1st tech partially listened, then the 2nd tech was absolutely not engaged. Its a brand new house and the ants appeared before our pets, or foliage were brought it. Now no one is retuning my calls. read more

I live in Lake Las Vegas. The salesman confirmed in writing that their Taexx system treated scorpions. The first thing the tech guy said when he came to do treatment was that the Taexx system does NOT treat scorpions, but the spray around the exterior of the home treats scorpions. Since that is not the service I needed or wanted, I canceled my service before the tech guy even left. I emailed the salesperson three times but got no response. I then called the company. The lady who answered the phone told me that the Taexx system treated scorpions, until she put me on hold to ask someone else, who then confirmed that the Taexx system does NOT treat scorpions. She said that I still had to pay for two months of treatment. I said I wouldn't. She transferred me to the manager who didn't believe that I had it in writing. I then emailed the email exchange to the manager. No response. I then called. The manager said that I was correct and that I wouldn't have to pay THE SECOND MONTH, but I would have to pay for the first day/month of service, even though I was misled into believing that their Taexx service treated scorpions when it did not. Worst pest control company ever. They cleverly try to lock you in when you buy a new home with their "in the wall" pre-installed pest control system, which is really nothing more than a gimmick- sounds cool and it comes "free" with the new house, but it just doesn't work nearly as well as the good old fashioned method of spraying directly. Apparently to make up for the "free" system they "give" you, they then overcharged for their monthly service and when the bugs didn't go away, they made lame excuses and gave me attitude, and when I finally went away and found a really good pest control company, they really did not seem to care. Horrible customer service! I signed up with Carl after explaining that we live out of state and are not in Las Vegas all the time but would like our condo sprayed when we are there. He assured me this would not be a problem and told me just to let them know when they scheduled me to push it out to when we are there. So Danny texts me to tell me I'm scheduled for February and I tell him I won't be there until March. After a back-and-forth and me telling him that I had already discussed all this with Carl, he said he would check with his supervisors and get back to me. He never bothered to get back to me. When I texted him to see if he was going to be spraying my condo in March he just said his supervisors said it had to be an every other month service. So I called Carl who denied telling me that this would be fine even though we had had extensive/multiple conversations about it before I signed. He then told me I would have to call the office to cancel my service. However, when I called the office to cancel my service I found out that they had already canceled my service without anybody even calling me to tell me. Not even a simple text from Danny. We've used a HomeTeam technician for the entirety of owning our home, which is approaching four years. Our guy Kevin, has been nothing short of fantastic. He knows the waves of creepy craw lies that come to our area in Vegas, in accordance with the seasons. If a specific problem is seen, he has attacked it correctly and efficiently. My wife is big on not wanting bugs around the house, and with Kevin and home team I know that she has a peace of mind that in turn helps the whole house. read more

Amazing at first, but they've raised the price on us WITHOUT notice three times. We have been using them for 4 years. Initial bi-monthly payment was $60, then they bumped us up to $70, then to $80, and now to $95. We were on auto pay, so we'd notice it late and when we'd call to inform them of the extra charge, they'd explain they raised their prices. When we'd express our frustration on raising the price WITHOUT CONSENT AND/OR A HEADS UP they'd say there's nothing they can do about it. I canceled services due to this. We have a ring camera around the house too and when we'd look at the invoice it would show the person being present up to 1 hour at our home when in reality the job was roughly 20 minutes. I don't care if they have a disclaimer on our invoice stating their prices may raise. It is such a sketchy way of sneaking in higher prices without bringing it DIRECTLY to the customer's attention. Identified the problem perform the service gave me advice on what to do before his next visit and for the future.... We've been Home Team customers since our house was built 17 years ago and their service has always been great. But today was extra special. In the middle of demolition on a guest bathroom renovation, we discovered the pesticide distribution line that ran behind the old tub was too short to accommodate the new shower pan. Within 55 minutes of a phone call to the Home Team office, Antonio had arrived on site and completed a re-route of the line allowing the shower contractors to quickly resume their work. We have used HomeTeam since we moved into our new house this year. We have had excellent service with them. Recently we noticed a problem with ants and crickets and it wasn't time for our next treatment. I called anyway and without hesitation they sent a technician to our home. Sam retreated our home at no charge. I immediately noticed a decline in the crickets and he even came back a few days later to put a gel bait for the ants inside our home. Disappointed with their customer service (Lynn), they don't care if you have been a customer for over 10 years. They increase the rate (they call it annual increase for the same service) I had to cancel my services with them, Sad they don't even attempt to keep you as a customer or thank you for the years of loyalty.
