They had to come back because I still heard activity in the vent. I had asked them to alert me when the technician was on the way so I could be present. Neither times was I alerted. The vent cover they installed is cheap and you could buy yourself on Amazon. All they did was shop vac from the outside. The bird still remained and my boyfriend and I had to remove it ourselves. Recently, my 2-year-old dryer stopped working with a clogged vent error code. When I disconnected the dryer hose from the wall, bird nesting material started falling out. I removed about half a trash can full from the vent run inside my wall. After reassembling everything, the dryer still gave the same error code, confirming there was more nesting material remaining. I called Environmental PC to explain the situation and offered to email them pictures proving the nesting wasn't fully removed during their original service. I stated that their technicians never came inside my home, never disconnected my dryer, and never blew out the interior vent during the initial $500 service. They stated that it wasn't necessary or protocol for technicians to come into the home and for them only to work from the exterior. The company refused to correct their incomplete work, stating it was outside their 90-day warranty. Instead, they offered wanted to charge me an additional $279 for vent cleaning. I ended up hiring another company to do a vent cleaning who removed another half trash bag full of nesting material. Environmental PC was going to charge me nearly $800 total ($500 original + $279 new) for a job that should have been done correctly the first time. They showed no willingness to stand behind their work or make it right. I do not recommend this company. Find someone who will do the job thoroughly the first time and stands behind their work.

We called My Exterminator with high hopes after reading their positive Google and Yelp reviews…read more(which are all 3+ years old!). Three treatments and $1200 later, our bedbug problem was not just unaffected, but actively MADE WORSE by the technicians utter incompetency and lack of care. I'm writing this review to spare others the expense, pain, itching, and emotional drain of dealing with this totally incompetent and untrustworthy company. MyExterminator, AKA Enviro-Tech Pest Services (Both companies in the contract) portrayed themselves as experienced bedbug professionals who assured us their treatment would easily take care of our bedbug problem. After forking over $1200 for a 2-spray treatment, we were greeted by Chris the technician, who immediately dispelled any illusions we had about MyExterminator's professionalism. He arrived to every appointment over two hours before the appointment we set (and took time off work to be at home for). He clearly was putting in the bare minimum effort, and after telling us "this will be too easy," applied the spray with utter carelessness and was not thorough at all. He didn't even bother to lift or move objects to spray behind/under. Worse, MyExterminator's technician clearly didn't know ANYTHING about bedbugs. When shown the bed-bags we had around our mattresses (a basic treatment step mentioned by just about every online source out there), he cluelessly asked "what's with those bed condoms??" Worse, the technician didn't have a clue about what the chemicals he was using were or what they did. The second time he came to treat our home, he was so checked-out that he mistakenly used Tallstar (general bug spray for roaches) instead of CB80 (spray formulated primarily for bedbugs). When my roommate caught the mistake, he called a manager at MyExterminator who told him "Sorry about that, we'll have him switch chemicals." The manager proceeded to call the tech and tell him privately "not to worry" about spraying the wrong chemical and that they were "basically the same." Of course the tech told us this and left without fixing his mistake. Before hiring them, MyExterminator had promised us verbally numerous times that the 2-treatment spray came with a 1 month warranty, during which we would get a free follow-up treatment if we found a live bedbug. Of course, MyExterminator's careless treatment was ineffective, and when we called back to ask for our treatment under warranty, MyExterminator claimed the warranty "wasn't in the contract" and that they wouldn't honor it. After confronting them about their verbal promises, MyExterminator claimed to have a "computer malfunction", hung up, and ghosted us for a few hours. Though MyExterminator eventualy agreed to honor the warranty they promised us, when the technician arrived, he once again sprayed in a careless manner. Worse, he failed to close the bed-bags on our mattresses again before he left, allowing the bedbugs trapped inside to escape back into the home. The tech's completely reckless conduct actively made our bedbug problem worse. Take your money elsewhere!

The bees were coming in through a hole in the drywall. There were hundreds of bees throughout the room. My first thought was holy s&$! Alpha pest management was recommended by one of my neighbors. Justin called me back on the day when I put in a service request via their website. While I had to wait a bit that day to get a response (this is not a big firm with lots of sales agents and so forth), I spoke with Justin (an exterminator) himself. I didn't have to waste my time speaking to some sales agent. Just asked me to send some pictures of the bees. He immediately told me they were not carpenter bees, which do not sting, but hornets which do! He came the next day to take a look around and recommended taping up the hole in the drywall. This solved the immediate problem of hundreds of bees getting into the attic. Despite Monday being a holiday, he said he was available. He came with his associate, Phillip, who does the drywall repair. Overall, a very professional and positive experience. I am very happy that these @&$!ing hornets are dead.
