The attendant explained to me that they were running a special for a month for the price of a single car wash. I gave her my credit card and I was charged for the single car wash price. I went to have my car washed on 7/06, the attendant was by the door of the business not at the gate. She waved me through so I assumed my month was still valid. I checked my credit card account last night and saw I was charged on 7/04 for $26.74. I called Champion Express Car Wash headquarters to report the non authorized charge. The man apologized, said he would cancel my membership but I would still have to pay for the month of July since I used the car wash on 7/06. I explained to him that I did not sign up for a membership and was charged on 7/04 prior to washing my car on 7/06. I also explained that I paid for a single wash on 6/04 but was given the month for that single car wash price. He said he has my signature signing me up for a membership. Not sure whose signature he has because I did not sign for my credit card swipe at the gate. I also explained that the attendant was not at the gate but waved me through and he still stated I used the car wash on 7/06 so I had to pay for the membership. No customer service whatsoever! Was disappointed to find that the vacuums do not work very much at all. There was hardly any suction. it's two dollars for four minutes. We just returned the vacuum hoses to their spot before time was up because it was a waste of energy. I'd say if you want a good car wash they are worth the money, but don't count on the vacuums.

Personally, I won't use the "tunnel" option as the brushes touch your car, but the self-service bays are full featured and use quality chemicals and soaps. Both locations are maintained very well and usually staffed. The automatic touchless option in the self-service bays are quite good and provide a good strong undercarriage wash. All bays are equipped with credit card readers- very convenient and beats hauling a roll of quarters with you! The vacuum setup at 25th and Broadway is beyond convenient with separate hoses for each side of your car and credit card readers. I wish they'd change the ones on 48th to the same setup!

My other vehicles were darker color, but now…read morethat I have gone to flat white, I can see where the automatic washes with the whirly twirly things can deposit grease on your vehicle from previous washes. Always wondered about it but couldnt see it clear as day until now. So i went to waterworks and decided I would try the old school 'spray it yourself' bay. I went with the $8 option first, just to make sure I didnt run out of time. That seemed to me to be the common sense way of doing it and then i could back it down next time if that was too much. Turns out, this wash has the multicolor foam, presoak, wax and rinse and the 8$ option is more than enough time to do it all and then a good rinse, even with doing your floor mats which you can hang up on the wall. The tire cleaner is like nothing i have ever seen. Leaves your tires and wheels so clean without that gaudy armorall shine some people do. No spots at all when done. I am sold on this option, no more grease marks! Looking to see if there is a subscrition I can get for here.

I had soap on my car! Pulled around to the front and called the number. I explained what had happened and he said it was because I pulled in off center. I replied "That's ridiculous". He said "No, that's not ridiculous.". By this time I was very upset because it seemed to me he was not going to make things right. I asked in a stern, but not rude tone of voice, "What are you going to do?". There was a long silence, and I was concerned that he was trying to blow it off. I repeated the question in a more stern voice and he said "I'm not going to do anything unless I you for being rude. I asked him if he would prefer to talk to my attorney, and he said "Sure, go ahead". And then repeated his demand that I apologize for being rude. I finally apologized and then he let me get back in line and get the car wash I paid for. This jerk is obviously on a power trip and will never get my business again!
