Everything always goes well. Nice interior, great food, although I find the ribs not to my expectations. I love my ribs, just not dry rub. I make the service good by being NICE to the waitstaff! Most take sarcasm well, And that can make or break my experience. A little fun with your meal is a good thing. Eat good food, and have a great time! Enjoy folks! I hope to be in on 11/5/25, as I had to cancel tonight.

Wow!! Delicious and great service from the start. Ashley was our server! Ask for her! Wings to start lemon Garlic Parmesan and mild buffalo wings. Hot, crispy! Soup, fish and a panini. Salad with steak. Happy with it all!! Delicious Kentucky Mule. Very much a hunting cabin.

Be still my heart. I will continue to give my favorite wing award to The Towne Tavern for as long as they keep doing their thing. The wings they serve here are simply amazing and I haven't found anything better. The smoked wings, deep fried, and drenched in their amazing Lemon Pepper Tequila sauce is the trifecta that wins it for me. The wings are deeply smokey, insanely crispy, tender and juicy on the inside, the sauce is perfect, I LOVE these damn wings. I come from Albany (30 mins) and it is more than worth it every time. My last visit I double ordered wings so I had plenty to bring home. oh, did I mention they also make their own killer blue cheese? Other than the wings, they have a pretty good draft list, but for some reason, the Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat tastes the best here. It's like a Shirley Temple beer. For an appetizer, we always order the Corn Fritters. It is like fried little balls of creamed corn and they are absolutely fantastic when dipped into the homemade ranch. My boyfriend loves their thick hand packed burgers also. Friday's and Saturday's they have a Prime Rib Special which is SUPER good, but for me, it is hard to get anything other than those freaking wings of perfection. I love this place, I love the taxidermy, I love the wings, I love the service, I love the not-so-appropriate quotes on the wooden beams, and the bra hanging from the ceiling, and did I mention? ... I love the wings. The Towne Tavern is currently rated 3.5 stars on Yelp, and that breaks my heart. This place is doing a great job, has great food, and you should get in here!

They definitely changed their potato pancake recipe it used to taste homemade now it seems very frozen Sysco.

Not sure what happened with towne tavern's potato pancakes but they definitely changed their formula and now it seems like a Cisco side. Their food is really tasty and the potato pancakes were a nice unique side dish, but now it's a disappointment that it's not homemade anymore. Anyway you can go back to the original formula?

Great smoked wings with several different good sauces, the sandwiches and burgers are legit as well. Great place with good food and people.

The bar tender, Noah, was impressive and friendly in that he knew his liquor stock very well, and could explain the flavor intricacies of the various types of bourbon, vodka, and gins. They also offer some non,-alcoholic beverages for the "designated driver" of the group too. We watched Noah make everything from regular and "dirty martinis" with fresh ingredients, as well as one drink where he used a butane lighter and some tiny cedar chips in a straining tool above the drink to give it a fresh, authentic smoky look and flavor. Noah knows his stuff!!!!! The patrons were friendly, diverse, and easy to socialize with if you chose to do so. The establishment is pet friendly for "socialized pets" with a water bowl outside the establishment and some free Milkbone treats inside. Keep in mind that this establishment is a "tasting room" with the majority of products from the New Scotland Distillery, but there are other options. Just don't expect to get a Bud Light Draft or food here. The only downside is that parking in the Lark Steet and State Street location is difficult to obtain without some effort, but we managed to park our vehicles 2 blocks away. This is not a direct criticism of the establishment because the experience is well worth this minor potential inconvenience. We would definitely go back there again, especially for the specialty drinks or the flights and half flights of their bourbon and vodka products. Thank you once again, Noah, for a pleasant and educational evening!!!

First, your Brunch menu and food are excellent, when we finally got our food - after roughly an hour of waiting - I was instantly reminded of why Dove and Deer is great - bold flavors, excellent preparation, gorgeous plates all in a city that desperately needs it. Second, I really felt bad for the 3 people responsible for running an entire restaurant on a Sunday (two waiters and one person in the kitchen). They did their absolute best, were so kind and apologetic, but obviously completely stressed out and frazzled. Tables got up and left after waiting for someone to get back to them - and we almost did too. It's unfair to restaurant staff to put the burden of running an entire place on them. I get if someone called off and you're short staffed 1 or 2 people, but did everyone call off? Besides 3 people? Come on. You have a real opportunity to be a go to brunch destination, my advice is to staff appropriately and give it a real go or risk customers not getting to experience the greatness that is your food - and taking their dollars to someplace far more mediocre. The only reason this isn't a 2 star or 1 star review is because of how hard your staff tried, and how good your food is (when it finally shows up).

That is what made the attitude surrounding the issue with our stay so unexpected and honestly disappointing. We reached out and specifically asked to upgrade our accommodations to a larger space that could sleep our family of 4. We were assured the wellness hut would work, which is why it was so upsetting to arrive and realize there was simply not enough room for 2 adults and 2 preteens to sleep comfortably. It was rainy, dark, and already close to 11:00 PM when we arrived, which made the situation even more stressful. Within just a few minutes of arriving and realizing the hut could not properly accommodate our family, we made the difficult decision to leave rather than force an uncomfortable overnight situation. What made the experience worse was the owner's response when we tried to discuss it. Instead of acknowledging that there may have been a misunderstanding, he repeatedly insisted that his instructions, photos, and accommodation descriptions were "perfect,", his staff did us a favor to accommodate our family in this space, and continued placing the blame entirely on us. Hospitality is not about proving that every description is flawless -- it is about listening when a guest's real experience does not match what they reasonably expected. I called with every intention of trying to make the stay work, maybe get another small bed put in the room, especially given the late hour and difficult weather, not to create conflict. The defensive and dismissive tone we were met with was incredibly surprising. The property itself is undeniably beautiful, which makes the lack of empathy and flexibility around a genuine issue all the more disappointing.

We enjoyed dinner before an event, then returned afterward for late-evening cocktails next to the fireplace, and we can attest that there is no other space that feels like Dulu in the entire Lenox/Stockbridge/Lee area! The vibe is classic yet modern, intimate, but also a little bit edgy, with a funky eclectic decor and quiet club music playing in the background - a perfect mix of Berkshires elegance plus contemporary urban sophistication! We shared several items for dinner, and felt that all were well-executed and very enjoyable - including an excellent spice-rubbed shrimp appetizer with fresh green s'chug for dipping, a bright shaved Brussels & manchego salad (which would have benefitted from just a pinch more salt), a perfectly-prepared thick hunk of salmon with crispy skin & bitter greens, and an interesting squash gnocchi with sausage and rosemary (which would have benefitted from a final light splash of acid - perhaps a squeeze of lemon or a few drops of champagne vinegar). Cocktails and wine pairings were EXCELLENT - this bar staff really knows what they're doing! Service was kind and efficient, and we were truly made to feel welcome. Prices are definitely at the higher end, but we felt that the quality of the food and beverages we enjoyed, plus the INCREDIBLE Dulu atmosphere, more than justify the cost. The Roosevelt Room in Troy was a great experience from start to finish. I was honestly expecting a standalone building, but it is tucked into a strip mall near HVCC. That said, parking was easy and stress free, which is always a plus. This was our first visit as a party of four, and the service was superb. The attention to detail really stood out and was noticed immediately. Our waitress checked in at the right times, kept drinks filled, and made sure everything came out exactly as expected. Meals are made to order, so substitutions were no issue at all, and it was nice to see gluten free options available. When you walk in, you pass through a curtain and are immediately greeted by a coat attendant who takes your coats, which instantly gives the place an upscale feel. The ambiance is well done, with soft lighting and nice background music. It is on the smaller side and dimly lit, but that is clearly intentional. The menus actually light up, which was a unique and thoughtful touch that fits the atmosphere perfectly. We had reservations and were seated right away. It did not seem necessary on this particular evening, but I would definitely recommend them on a weekend given the size of the space. The food itself was excellent. Everything we ordered was very tasty, and the presentation across the board was impressive. Desserts are prepared by a pastry chef and were just as good as the rest of the meal. It is definitely on the pricey side, but that is to be expected for the level of service and atmosphere. This feels like a special occasion type of place, and in that context, it is worth every penny. We really enjoyed our night and would absolutely come back. There was also a sign mentioning live jazz on Fridays, which sounds like a great added touch. Overall, a very strong 5 stars.

They have a cocktail menu that included historical cocktails dating back to the 19th Century until present day. The cocktails were perfect. We had pre-ordered a half bottle of champagne. It was very good. We also ordered caviar service. It is 1 ounce with sour cream, egg whites, yolks, and onions. Fresh made Bellinis that were still warm. We enjoyed it immensely. It was a lovely compliment to the champagne. For an appetizer we enjoyed the escargot. We have had escargot in many places, rarely, if ever, was it as good at this was. The garlic butter was on point, the crusty bread was a great addition to the dish. It was served with tiny leaves of Swiss chard. We cannot recommend this enough. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from their extensive wine list, Stag's Leap. This wine paired perfectly with the filet mignon bordelaise, and the veal chop with cherry peppers. We had a visit with the chef, he was a wonderful representative of this amazing restaurant. We cannot recommend this place enough. It's a little spendy, but worth every penny. Service, 5 stars!
