Okay me and my friend were driving down to Las Vegas when her friend suggested we make a stop at Hometown Pizza. We did, the place was quiet, very sporty for its high school teams, we ordered our pizza and damn! Even though the pizza was small, it was so damn good. The cheese was a good stretchy and not too gooey, the sauce wasn't sour or too sweet it was a perfect tang to it with the veggies (my half was veggies) complimented the combination of sauce and cheese. The onions were a good kind of sweet! I regret not ordering a larger pizza. The ambiance I believe when it's full it would be very bustling but it's definitely family and anyone friendly. Bring a big group to this place and if you're driving through Tonopah def stop here :) read more

Welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. We went to a few restaurants here in Tonopah, and this one was one of the best lunch/dinner establishments. Pizza was amazing! We got the Tonopah Combo and the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. We added pnthe all-out can eat salad bar, which was stocked with a good variety of fish vegetables and dressings. For dessert we had the Crème Brûlée Donut, this isi is a must have when you visit. It was cooked to order and the flavors were out of this world delicious. If you're just driving through or staying for awhile in town, definitely give this restaurant a try. A+ read more

4.5 stars????? Wow. We ordered an antipasto and a Caesar salad with wings. The 2nd star was given because the lettuce was super fresh. The salads come with packaged dressing and croutons. Manufactured salad for sure. Not so bad, but one of my dressings was opened and half used upon arrival...... taken off another plate? Ugh. Then the wings arrive. So good!! This is gonna be my new and only spot in this town. Even the delivery kid looked normal. And he seemed cool. The negative about this place they are closed on Wednesdays. Definitely come and get pie. I ordered the Tonopah pizza and substituted olives instead of green peppers. Really good and so is the crust. Nice and crisp. Sorry I'm all over the place, but I have my phone in one hand and a slice in the other. Oh and the brought it with a little bag of paper plates, cheese and crushed red peppers. So good!! Great food! We visited twice while in Tonopah. The first time we both had the pizza and it was awesome. The second time we had the salad bar and a calzone. The salad bar fixings were so fresh, the calzone was crispy and the ingredients inside it were very flavorful. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly and the price was right! read more

Terrible pizza. $2.50 each for extra sauce because they dont put enough on the pizza. A $17 pizza cost $27. Bland sauce a medium seems more like a small they are completely inconsistent on thier food the only thing they have going for them is they are the only place in town that delivers. My first review, I'm not much of a reviewer but I downloaded yelp just because of how angry and horrible my experience was here. I stopped here traveling thru Nevada and did their "buffet" if you can even call it that. They left half a pizza out and would not put any other pizza out, even noticing me sitting at table frustrated. Not worth the $ and will NEVER visit this place again, if you have to be so CHEAP to not offer hardly any food in your "buffet" then just close shop instead of scamming people. Waste of time! Perfect road trip stop! The curb is kinda high when you enter the parking lot FYI- don't scrap your car bottom. The pizza is delicious. I loved the texture of the crust. The toppings were amazing. And yes we like pineapple on pizza! They have a lunch buffet and some cheap one slice options. We went for a full pizza so we could have a second to not be in the car. There is plenty of seating. First off the pizza was outstanding, we had the meat lovers and Veggie, both were good. We ordered both Bone in and bone out chicken wings and our group devoured them, we had Hot and bbq styles. Several of our group eat the salad bar and we travel to several of the rural communities in Nevada and the salad bar here Tonopah is one of the best! We got into Tonapah after a active day road tripping up from Vegas. We were starving and wanted something quick so chose this place. Plus, we were staying at the Mizpah so it was perfect location wise. We ordered the Tonapah Combo without mushrooms, but added black olives on half, extra large. The pizza was fresh tasting. The cheese was not rubbery. It was super melty. The crust wasn't overly bready. We got the Tonopah, BBQ chicken, chicken alfedo, and our own combo of pepperoni, meatball, and mushrooms. The Caesar salad uses Ken's dressing and it wasn't really to my liking. We stopped at Hometown on the way to Portland! This is a very nice, clean place with decent quality food. It's not four starts in a major urban place, but for Tonapah it does very well. Wowza!!! This pizza is fantastic. The family wanted something to eat and this place is impressive. The dough is tossed to perfection, sauced perfectly, and brought to you hot. If you want a taste of delicious before you hit the road again stop and have a some Hometown pizza. There was no wait time and we received our pizza in 15 minutes. Coming home to Vegas from the Eastern Sierra, we stopped in Tonopah for gas. It was 11am and we were starving. I looked in yelp for suggestions and Hometown Pizza was highly rated so we decided to try it. So happy we did! We had the buffet for lunch. I was immediately impressed with the salad bar. Lots of options and everything was so fresh. All you can eat pizza, salad, soup, and a fountain drink for $8.99. What a bargain! The best part was that it wasn't just "bargain" food. Their pizza was really really good. And they continually baked and put out all different kinds of pizzas. I had a slice of pepperoni and a veggie slice. Hubby had the same and a Canadian bacon with pineapple that also looked delicious. Next time we roll through Tonopah we will make it a point to stop here! read more
