He subsequently blew off TWO following appointments without calling to let me know why or when he would actually be back to install the heater I paid for. So on top of everything else this cost me, I lost two days pay waiting at home for him for no good reason. He surely could have picked up the phone to release me from this unnecessary waiting game but chose to leave me hanging interminably instead. All this time I had space heaters on my tub, hoping it did not freeze up which would destroy it. When he finally did show up to install the heater, I had told him in advance not to wake me up until he had the job done. When he woke me up he told me that I owed $355.00 for that days labor. I trusted it was true and paid him as I had not idea how long he had been working. Later, I checked my security cams and discovered that it took him under 30 minutes. Since when do hot tub techs make $700 per hour? Knowing that this is an unreasonable amount to pay for hot tub service I contacted the store. Charlie the owner of the store, who had previously told me that he had personally trained the technician to work for him, told me that he was not responsible for what I was charged and it was none of his business! Really? So, even though the tech was trained at the store, and sent to me by the store, they claim to be...not responsible? That about sums it up. Avoid!

I booked this company at the beginning of the year after discovering a tear in my pool liner. I…read morepaid a 10% deposit to reserve an April installation date. Unfortunately, communication was poor from the start. It often took days to receive a response, and my installation date was pushed back multiple times. When he finally arrived, it was late in the afternoon with no prior communication. At that point, he said additional work needed to be done to the pool that had never been discussed beforehand. My husband told him that if the job was more than he wanted to take on, we would hire another company. Instead, he said he could make it work. He removed the old liner and left it in the middle of my yard. He then installed the new liner without properly leveling the pool bottom or removing rocks and debris. Before leaving, he placed a vacuum in the pool and told me it needed to stay for a few hours. He said he would return the next day to remove the vacuum, cut in the liner, and finish the installation. I pointed out several large wrinkles in the liner, and he assured me they would be corrected when he came back. He never returned. I reached out multiple times with no response. I had already paid the 10% deposit plus $800 in cash. When I finally did hear from him, there was always another reason he couldn't come back: his truck had broken down, he didn't have help, or the weather wasn't cooperating. Eventually, my husband had to finish the installation himself so our kids could use the pool for the summer. The liner still has numerous wrinkles, and we found sharp spots on the pool bottom that we had to correct ourselves to avoid damaging the new liner. I contacted him one last time asking him to either return and fix the installation or provide a refund. I never received a response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Poor communication, an incomplete installation, and a complete lack of follow-through left us finishing the job ourselves after paying for professional installation.

Jon was the tech, he called when they said he would, he showed up on time. Polite, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and WAY more reasonably priced than the other companies I called. He fixed the leak, offered some spa advice, and cleaned up after. Highly recommend!

If you watch the man work, its immediately clear that he knows what he is doing. And even though that knowledge and skill is how he makes his living, he was very good about answering questions I had; and even providing tips that would ensure that I would need his services less! I found his honesty and helpfulness refreshing, and after three years since his last visit, I'm hoping I can reach him again to fix a difficult-to-service leak. PS- I wrote this review for two reasons: 1.) because I was that satisfied by Spa Service's performance, and 2.) because the poor review from the Veterinarian below, in particular, annoyed me. It never ceases to amaze me how people can make emergencies of their own 'needs', but not feel a sense of urgency to pay the person that fixes the problem. To then have the audacity to give the business a bad review is shameful. Keep up the good work Spa Services, and give Shawn a raise--lol!
